Chapter 488: The Mirror and Letter to Grindelwald

December 23rd.

The third day of the Christmas (Yule) holiday.

At 10 am, Andy used Apparition to arrive at 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black family's old residence.

After so many days, the yard seemed to have been well-maintained. A snowman in the yard suggested that Harry and his godfather were getting along quite well.

Andy straightened his clothes and rang the doorbell.

Ding dong –

Before long, the door was pushed open.

"Hi, Andy!"

Harry gave Andy a bear hug with all his enthusiasm. He looked delighted. "I'm so glad you came. Sirius and I were just training in the basement. Oh, come on in."

"Looks like you're doing well," Andy said, patting Harry on the shoulder and following him into the house.

The house was clean and tidy, a far cry from the state it had been in during the summer holidays. Sirius had clearly been busy cleaning up to welcome Harry back.

"Of course! I bet this is the best Christmas in my life." Harry looked genuinely happy, and the smile on his lips had not disappeared since Andy came in.

"I doubt that, though."

Andy said, looking at Harry and winking. "Because there will be even better ones! You can still spend many Christmases together."

"Of course!" Harry nodded, deeply moved.

After a pause, Harry continued: "It would be even better if I could come to Sirius's house during the summer holidays, too."

Ever since he had spent time with Sirius, Harry had never wanted to go back to his aunt's house and live under her roof.

Andy did not respond to this comment.

Because that was not going to happen!

Dumbledore would not let Harry lose his ultimate protection.

Sirius had told Kreacher to prepare three cups of coffee, and he had followed Harry down to the basement.

"Hey, Sirius, how's it going?"

Andy casually greeted him, then reached out to take the coffee. "Thanks!"

"Not bad! I've been training Harry for the past two days."

Sirius said. "You know, the You-Know-Who has set his sights on Harry, and they could strike at any time."

Harry said defiantly, "If they dare, it will be their last act... I promise!"

"Well said, Harry!" Sirius patted Harry's shoulder with a look of relief.

A real man should have courage like this.

Andy: "..."

Bravo!

As long as you have confidence.

"Sirius, I want to borrow two books."

Andy said his reason for coming, "I've been resting at home for two days, and I'm so bored that grass is growing on me. I've already finished all the books at home, so I can only come here to borrow two books to kill some time."

"OK! You really are a Ravenclaw!"

Sirius said generously, "I told you a long time ago that you can read whatever book you like here, and you don't need to tell me."

"Thanks!" Andy shrugged.

"Harry!"

Sirius turned his gaze to Harry and raised an eyebrow. "How do you feel? Have you rested enough? We should continue training."

"Of course! I'm ready to start anytime," Harry said with high spirits.

The two quickly began training.

Andy stood by and watched for a while. It had to be said, Harry had a poor grasp of the basics... or at least, in Andy's opinion, he did.

He was the type of person who... you could see the ceiling of his potential right away!

But if you looked at it from the perspective of an ordinary wizard, Harry's strength was still quite good, and there was still plenty of room for improvement.

It was clear that Sirius was very satisfied with Harry's performance and was very proud of him.

Andy watched for a while before finding an excuse to leave.

Andy is not so insensitive as to stand there and spoil the affectionate interaction between 'father and son'.

As he made his way up the stairs, Andy passed a corner where he happened to meet Kreacher, the house elf who was tidying up the room.

As usual, he grumbled something under his breath, but it was hard to tell who he was cursing.

When Andy passed Kreacher, the house-elf looked up and gave him a spiteful glare.

Andy returned the greeting politely, not paying any attention to it.

After passing by Kreacher, Andy quietly pulled out his wand and quickly turned around, pointing the wand at Kreacher's back.

"Imperio!" Andy quickly recited the incantation.

A beam of magical light hit Kreacher's back. The house elf trembled all over, then slowly turned around and bowed deeply to Andy, his nose almost touching the ground.

"Kreacher," Andy whispered.

"Hello, my master," Kreacher said, bending.

Very good!

Andy nodded with satisfaction, then took a mirror and a letter from his pocket and handed them to Kreacher. He spoke calmly, "Go to the Nurmengard Castle in Austria and give these two things to the person inside."

"Remember! You must give them to him personally."

Kreacher carefully took the mirror and letter from Andy's hands, then snapped his fingers and disappeared in an instant.

"It's done!"

Andy nodded, then carefully checked the surroundings again to make sure he hadn't left any clues before continuing upstairs.

Black family mansion, study.

Andy casually pulled two books off the shelf and sat on the sofa. While spreading the book open, he placed a mirror on the page and looked down at the image in the mirror.

The Two-way mirror was a pair of mirrors linked by magic, which enabled people to communicate with each other from different locations.

The way to use it was to look into the mirror and call out the name of the person holding the other mirror.

Once Kreacher delivered the Two-way mirror, Andy would be able to contact Grindelwald.

Andy had a lot of questions he wanted to ask him.

'I hope this old guy is easy to talk to,' Andy thought.

'Hmm...'

Andy felt that the probability of Grindelwald paying attention to him was actually quite high.

Because Andy was not only Dumbledore's 'favourite' student but also the 'best neighbour' of Madam Bathilda Bagshot.

Every holiday, Andy would visit the old lady.

In one way or another, she is inevitably related to Grindelwald.

If all else fails, Andy can always claim to be the third Dark Lord and discuss with Grindelwald the topic of reforming the wizarding world.

As long as he is sincere, Andy believes he will be able to convince Grindelwald sooner or later.

Of course, if sincerity fails to convince him, Andy will also try to use his fists (duel) to convince him in the future when he has the ability.

Thinking it would take a little while for Kreacher to deliver the letter, Andy put the Two-Way mirror in his pocket, picked up a book, and started reading.

'I hope Sirius and Harry won't find out about this!'

Andy thought to himself. 'If the situation is unavoidable... then don't blame me!'
