I blinked.

Or at least I thought I blinked but I can't feel anything, my body was feeling numb as if going through a transition. My head buzzed trying to remember anything but nothing came up, all my memories were blank.

'What in the world happened? what game? what is going on?'

I turned my head hoping to find anything but I was standing in utter darkness, only the blue floating screen was in my vicinity.

My body was still feeling numb so I couldn't figure out how effective my nerves would be in this game, I really wasn't expecting a 100% immersion.

The screen in front of me blinked as if waiting for a response.

'Well fuck you... I am going to troll the shit out of your game just you wait.'

Everything else was blacked out, there weren't any other options. I blinked, as the memories related to Harry and the Wizarding World came rushing to me as a mental block was lifted.

'I can't speak either French or Russian so the options are like a tease, but the game also says this game run so maybe I could try it out in the next try...'

As soon as I finished reading, the world moved, my eyes closed unconsciously and I felt myself hitting the mattress.

---3rd POV---

Mark woke up in a small room in a bunk bed, he was sleeping on the lower bed which had a hard mattress. The sheets were rough and the room looked a little messy.

"Ugh," he groaned as he woke up feeling a little disoriented but he was surprisingly able to control his limbs just fine.

"You are late today Mark, which is quite a surprise..." an older woman stood in front of him in a black and red gown with a tired smile on her face.

"...Mrs. Henderson," Mark said unconsciously before regaining his bearings, "sorry I..umm... I guess I was a little tired..." Mark sat up and flexed his arms a little, he felt strange in the new body.

"Well, no time to waste, go wash your face, a teacher from a very private and elusive school is here to meet you today, now remember when we talked about chances and opportunities before," she bent forward words on her knees and looked me in the eye, "this is your chance, Mark, now come on go get yourself presentable."

With one last smile, the matron walked out of the room. Mark looked around to take stock of his surroundings, just now when he talked to the Matron, unfamiliar memories relating to her came up to his mind along with a strange block of letters floating above her head that he had to try very hard not to stare at.

'Okay, just a normal floating window, nothing to be worried about, I was already leaning towards a VR game anyway.' Mark reassured himself while rubbing his arms slightly feeling the sensation coming to him.

'A very very realistic VR game,' he walked out of the room closing the door behind him slowly. The Hallway could have seen better days but at least the place was clean, Mark could hear laughter coming from somewhere down the hall where he knew the kitchen was.

He took a left away from the stairs and walked into the communal bathrooms, 4 mirrors were placed some distance away from each other with sinks in front of them. He looked at the mirror with trepidation as he saw his face. A strange mix of Dejavu and unfamiliarity hit him as he traced his dark locks and grey eyes. He still had some baby fat on his cheeks but beneath it, he could see the forming of a sharp jawline, combined with his pale face and slightly long hair, Mark concluded he didn't look that bad.

Mark almost jumped back as the screen appeared in front of him.

'Yes' he thought and the screen went away. Guessing that the quest was generated because Prof. McGonagall is already in the Orphanage he splashed his face with water a couple of times before rushing to his room to rummage for a towel.

'I hope the pain is muted in this game otherwise I sure as hell ain't fighting any Dark Lord...'
