Chapter 32

I do wonder why he is doing all this, but for the moment I'd like to forget that and just enjoy the present. Even if this is simply a dream, I'd like to let it last a little longer. "You still have more tokens." I snapped out of my little thought bubble and realized what he said. "Oh right!" I replied. "By the way did you only get me tokens?"

"Ya, I used to come here a lot so I don't really play here now unless I need to blow off some steam." he stated.

"Well, thank you for everything. I really appreciate it!" I said with a smile.

"No worries."

We went through out the arcade playing all kinds of games for about an hour and half. Ken must have come here a ton when he was younger because he knew how to win on every game, he won me so many tickets.

When we cashed our tickets I was looking through the prizes and saw a green lava lamp, it made me think of my brother. He always wanted one but we never got him one, if I want it I'll have to use all my tickets for it. But its worth it, he'll be really happy when he wakes and sees it. So I cashed all my tickets in and got it. They were nice and wrapped it for me, so it won't break on the bus to the hospital. I hope he likes it when he wakes up, "Didn't pin you as someone who likes green, not judging though just saying." Ken said as we walked out of the arcade.

"I'm not, this for my little brother. He always wanted one, now he can have one." I replied

"Oh, nice." He stated as he removes his phone from his pocket and glances at it, "Hey I got to go I have something to do, can you get back on your own from here?" Ken asked

"Ya I can, thanks again for everything today I really appreciate it."

"Ya no problem, I'll see you tomorrow at club practice." he replied, as he waved goodbye then walked off.

"I still have sometime left before school gets out so I'm not expected home for a while, I think I'll head over to the hospital to see my brother. I can give him this while I'm there." I thought.
