Chapter 31

I took a deep breath, and tried to focus my attention on the game. But focusing didn't help at all, I still failed. "Ugh! I can't even get close to winning one." I stated as I banged my hand against the glass in irritation, "I'm just gonna give up and play something else." I said in sorrow as I started walking away. "WINNER! WINNER!" I turned around at the sound to find Ken had played and, I'm guessing on his first try since I wasn't turned around for that long.

"Here." He tossed me the stuffed bear, "You won? How? I was trying for so long and I couldn't even get close." I exclaimed with a hint of anger.

"You were playing it the way it was designed for people to play, but people were designed to loose when they play. So you have to think outside the box and then you win." he replied

"What do you mean think outside the box?" I inquired

"Well I put in a token so the drop tray unlocked and was opened, then I put this against the glass" He pulls a magnet out of his pocket. "close to the teddy bears ribbon on its head cause it has metal in it and then lifted it by dragging the magnet across the glass to over the drop compartment and then just let it drop in." he said with a smirk on his face.

"You cheated!"

"Hey I cheated the cheaters, the game was designed for people to loose. With all the tokens you put in, they more then paid for that toy." he explained

"Well I mean like, I guess that's true." I said as I looked down at the teddy bear in my hands. "I cant believe he won it for me, he cheated for it. But he still got it for me, that was really nice of him to do. Then again this whole day has been really great, he really got me to relax. I forgot all my stress while playing that game and I was finally able to relax for the first time since I got here, I've got to make sure to thank him properly after this." I thought as I hugged the bear.
