Operation control X (part 3)

A few hours passed while Dennis was reading the book. As he was done reading it before he could make it. And by the time he looked at the sky, it became morning.

"This is not good..." Dennis said to himself.

He then closed the book and went back to the house.

When he arrives to the house. He saw that his friends were waiting for him. Dennis knew that everyone was ready, but there was one thing that he needs to do before they could leave.

"Dwight, I have something that you will need." Dennis said.

He then grabbed the bag that he previously got from Farion and started to search for something around it. As Dennis was still searching. He got a hold of something light and pulled it out. When he looked at it, it had a lightning mark on it.

"What is that?" Dwight asked.

"Well... I thought this would suit your interests." Dennis said.

He then handed the book to Dwight. As Dwight grabbed the book, he immediately opened and his eyes started to glow light green. He felt the power of lightning course thru out his body.

"Man, what did you give me?!" Dwight asked as he was excited.

"That my friend is your power. It belongs to you for the rest of your life." Dennis said.

Dwight put the book in his backpack and was finally ready to go out. As they all revised their stuff. Dennis noticed one flaw out of the eight of them. That only flaw was going to be team work as soon as they enter on a fight, but they will manage with an experience.

"Ok guys. We need to head southwest, as far as I can tell from yesterday. X was heading to another Kingdom that is more advanced to the modern era." Dennis said.

As they all left without making a question. Dennis had everything set to track down X. But there is one problem that Dennis needs to solve. He stopped the group to ask a simple question.

"Does someone know how to drive or fly?" Dennis asked.

He then looked at his group of friends, and the only one that raises a hand was Paige.

"I know how to drive and fly a ship. Just get us one and I can take us to any place in the world." Paige said.

Dennis pulled out his phone and noticed a weird app that was installed. He then pressed it and a hatch opened next to him. Everyone got worried that Dennis would fall in, but he didn't mind any ways/ He allowed his body to fall in the hatch since his instincts told him that it was safe.

"Guys!! Jump down! It is totally safe!!" Dennis screamed.

He then noticed that his body was slowed down by some sort of gravity field. As he was able to get his footing on the ground, he saw that the place had over a hundred ships to fly.

"Holly damn. This place is perfect!" Dennis said.

He already saw the ship that he wanted to go on until Paige dropped in by herself.

"You have good taste. This is a perfect model its like a mini carrier that can hold up to 20 people." Paige said.

"That's perfect! It should take about a few days for us to make it to X." Dennis said.

As soon as he finished talking, the rest of his friends made it to look at the place. They realized that this was a hanger and by the time they saw Dennis. He was holding one key to the ship. As he opened the ship's door. He was doing hang signs to his friends to hurry. Paige got on to start the ship. And by the time everyone got on, they heard a loud bang coming from a far.

"Start the ship!" Dj said.

Paige finally started the ship and started to fly a bit up. Before she could get the ship in position to get out. They all saw a shadow come out from the wall. It wasn't any ordinary shadow. It was a nightmare swarm. Dennis noticed and went to the driver's seat to help Paige.

"Paige, just floor it!" Dennis said.

He sat down on one of the seats and started to open a hatch that lead to the surface. Paige began to accelerate the ship before the swarm could make contact.

"That was close..." Paige said.

Then they heard a loud bang from below.

"This place is a nest!" Dennis said.

Paige gave the ship more speed. She didn't want to be in the hangar any longer. As they saw the exit was getting closer. Dennis was closing the hatch, for the ns couldn't escape, but he knew that it won't hold it for long.

"Get us as high as possible, we don't want to get close to that ns." Dennis said.

Then Claire got in and was looking for Dennis. She wanted to know on how things are going. As Dennis turned around to pay his attention to Claire. Dj and Spike entered to get Dennis.

"Dude, you need to see this." Dj said.

Dennis followed Dj and ended up on a discussion hall. He looked around, and it was the perfect place to discuss how they are going to approach X. Then he followed Spike and found four bedrooms.

"Hold up, this room can hold up to two people each..." Dennis said.

"Yea, but we don't have access to the other rooms to the back of the ship." Spike said.

"We need like a key or something to enter, but we shouldn't worry about it for now." Dj said.

Then they all noticed that Owen and Dwight are already sharing a room. And then they saw Claire and Paige get out of the pilot room and went to a room together.

"You guys should rest go rest." Dennis said.

Then Dj and Spike went to a room that was empty. Leaving Dennis to the last room nearby the pilot room. As he entered, he found Nidializ placing her stuff on one of the beds. He took off his glasses and jumped on to the other bed from the other side of the room.

"Man, did you even slept last night?" Nidializ asked.

"No..." Dennis said as he had his face on the pillow that made him sound muffled.

"How long are we going to be in the sky?" Nidializ asked.

"For about 24 hours... So just rest up so that when we arrive we find X fast." Dennis said.

Nidializ then noticed that Dennis was a sleep already. Being awake for about 24 hours was a massif tool for his body. By the time she was waiting for time to pass by, she ended up a sleep. Luckily, Paige placed the ship on autopilot before going with Claire to one room. Later on an hour passed by and the ship was already above the clouds. As it was till morning. Everyone that was awake was seeing the view by the window.
