" Your highness ." A maid knocked.

"Come in." She waved her hand.

" His highness and your mother wants to meet you." the maid said, her eyes glued to the ground.

" Umm Ok. I'll be there. Could you please help me with doing my hair." The princess asked her with a twinkle in her eyes.

" Sure, your highness. " The maid hurried to do her hair.

" Are you new? I didn't see you before."

"Y..yes your highness. I just started today."

" Hallie. Call me Hallie." The princess said and got up from her seat. " Thank you for doing my hair. I'll be on my way now." Hallie smiled and strode to meet her parents.

When she reached, she saw her father sitting at the throne with a huge grin on his face while his mother who was sitting just beside doesn't look much happy about whatever is going to happen. Hallie went near where her parents were sitting and asked, " You called for me, father?" She asked her father as her mother doesn't seem in mood to talk.

" Aha, my beautiful daughter. Here you are." The king stood up from his throne to hug her.

Hallie forced a smile on her face. She knew that something is up because her father never talk to her so sweetly and hugging is a far thing.

" I have a good news for you, my dear." The king patted her.

" What news?" She asked.

" You are going to marry the prince of Ziagia. Prince William."

As soon as she heard to whom she was going to marry, it felt like she couldn't breathe. Her father is marrying her off to a player. God knows, with many women he had slept.

" What? You can't do that, father. Don't you know about him?" She finally spoke what was in her heart.

" Oh my beautiful daughter, I can do whatever I want. I don't care about his personal matters. We are going to be good allies. His kingdom is going to give us half of its ammunition. Now go and start doing the preparations of your wedding." The king then went towards his chamber.

Her mother came to her and patted her back. " I am sorry dear. I can't do anything."

Hallie locked herself in her room and cried her eyes out for hours. She didn't even ate breakfast. Someone knocked the door and she quickly wiped her tears away.

"Coming, wait." She spoke.

When she opened the door, two maida were standing in front of her. "Your highness, someone has came to meet you. His highness has asked us to bring you. But first, you have to change."

"Ok, come."

She slipped into a beautiful green dress which the maids had brought and put some make-up on. She looked herself in the mirror and sighed.

She heard a loud knock at her door. She opened it and her mother rushed in. "What happened mother?"

" You aren't going to marry that a**h*le, dear." Her mother said happily.

" What? I mean why?" Hallie didn't know but she was smiling while speaking.

" I don't know. Your father decided it. A very handsome young man had come to ask for your hand in marriage. He talked to your father and fortunately he Agreed."

Suddenly her smile disappeared. It's not like she wasn't happy. But how her father agreed to this? What that man said to him. She started to worry more.

"You don't have to go now. Your father is talking to him.
