Chapter 44: Wrath of the Great Ape

Okay, okay, I get it—Goku's already way too overpowered! Maybe you're thinking, 'This novel's gone too far!' So I had this brilliant idea to stop this one and write a new novel entirely. The air crackled with tension as Goku watched Turles, who had just eaten the Fruits of the Tree of Might, stand back up after his defeat. Turles, though battered and bruised, wasn't finished yet. A sinister grin spread across his face as he slowly raised his hand toward the sky.

"You thought this was over, Goku? You're about to see real Saiyan power!" Turles growled, his voice filled with malice.

Goku narrowed his eyes, unsure of what Turles was planning. But as he followed the movement of Turles's hand, his eyes widened in realization. "Wait… He's going to create an artificial moon!"

Before Goku could react, Turles fired a small, glowing ball of energy into the sky. The ball expanded rapidly, releasing a blinding light that mimicked the full moon. Goku felt his heart race as the transformation process began.

"He's going to turn into an Ozaru!" Goku thought, knowing the immense power that came with the Great Ape form. He quickly sealed his own tail with the Sealing Technique he had created during his training. The technique was designed specifically to suppress his tail's energy, preventing his own transformation into the uncontrollable beast.

"I can't let myself turn into an Ozaru here. Not on this planet." Goku murmured to himself, activating the seal.

Just as Goku finished sealing his tail, Turles's body began to grow exponentially. His muscles expanded, fur sprouted all over his body, and within moments, he had transformed into the towering, monstrous form of the Great Ape Ozaru. His power level skyrocketed, reaching a staggering 1.1 million ki. The ground beneath them shook violently, and the air grew thick with his overwhelming energy.

"RAAAAARGH!" Turles, now fully transformed, let out a deafening roar, his voice echoing across the landscape. His eyes burned with a savage rage, and his movements were far more dangerous now.

Goku clenched his fists, realizing the full scope of the challenge before him. "This is bad. His power's off the charts now, and I can't even get close enough to cut his tail. That barrier around him is preventing any attacks from reaching him."

The artificial moon floating in the sky continued to pulse with energy, feeding Turles's transformation. Goku knew that unless he destroyed the source of the light or found a way to cut Turles's tail, the planet would be in serious danger.

Goku quickly moved into action. "I've got no choice but to go all out now," he muttered, his expression more serious than ever. His body flared with energy as he tapped into his true power, the weight of the situation pushing him to his limits.

With a swift motion, Goku raised his hand and created an Advanced Destructo Disc, a technique he had refined over the years. Unlike the standard version, this one could be manipulated and controlled, following the target until it landed a direct hit. The disc glowed with a deadly light as it spun rapidly, ready to cut through anything in its path.

"Let's see if this works," Goku said under his breath as he launched the Destructo Disc toward Turles's tail.

The disc sped through the air, homing in on Turles's massive tail. But as it neared the Great Ape, it collided with the energy barrier surrounding Turles, causing a violent explosion. The impact sent shockwaves across the battlefield, but the barrier remained intact, and the Destructo Disc was deflected away.

"What the—?! That barrier's tougher than I thought," Goku exclaimed, gritting his teeth in frustration. "Looks like I'll have to find another way to bring him down."

Turles, now fully under the influence of his Ozaru transformation, stomped toward Goku, each step shaking the ground. His massive hand swung down at Goku with incredible force. Goku barely managed to dodge, the impact of the hand leaving a crater in the ground where he had stood moments before.

"I've gotta keep moving," Goku thought, as he leapt into the air and used his Shadow Steps technique to create afterimages and confuse Turles. The giant ape roared in frustration, swinging wildly at the illusions Goku left behind.

"This is insane," Goku muttered to himself, sweat dripping down his face. "His strength is unbelievable. One wrong move, and it's all over."

As Goku dodged and weaved through Turles's attacks, he started to feel the strain. Even with his superior techniques and combat skills, Turles's sheer size and power made it difficult to land any effective blows.

"I need to get through that barrier somehow," Goku said, frustration mounting as he narrowly avoided another powerful swing from the Ozaru.

Turles's attacks were relentless. His massive fists came crashing down like meteors, each one shaking the battlefield and sending shockwaves through the area. Goku, using every ounce of his speed and agility, dodged each blow, but he could feel his energy waning. He had to end this soon, or the planet—and everyone on it—would be in serious danger.

Finally, Goku decided to change tactics. "I can't destroy his tail with direct attacks, but if I focus on weakening him first, I might have a chance to break through his defenses."

Summoning all his strength, Goku unleashed a barrage of ki blasts, aiming for Turles's chest. Each blast hit the barrier with immense force, causing it to flicker and waver slightly. Goku grinned. "That's it! The barrier's starting to weaken!"

But before Goku could follow up with another attack, Turles roared and sent out a shockwave of energy, knocking Goku back. The sheer force of the blast sent him flying through the air, crashing into a nearby mountain.

"Ugh... That was too close," Goku muttered as he struggled to stand. His body ached from the impact, and he could feel his energy reserves running low. But he wasn't about to give up. Not yet.

"Enough playing around," Goku said through gritted teeth, as he began to gather his remaining energy. His aura flared brightly, and the ground beneath him trembled as he prepared his final attack.

Using every bit of his remaining power, Goku unleashed a massive Kamehameha wave, aiming directly at Turles. The beam of energy shot forward, cutting through the sky like a lightning bolt.

The beam collided with Turles's barrier, causing a massive explosion. The ground shook violently, and a blinding light filled the air.

When the smoke finally cleared, Goku could see that the barrier had finally been destroyed. Turles, still in his Ozaru form, stumbled slightly, weakened by the onslaught of attacks.

Goku knew this was his chance. "I've got to finish this!" He dashed forward, his eyes locked on Turles's tail.

But as Goku moved in for the final blow, Turles roared once more, summoning every ounce of his remaining strength. The ground beneath them cracked and split as the massive ape prepared to crush Goku with one last, desperate attack.
