Chapter 45: The Final Blow

The battlefield was a wasteland of destruction. Massive craters littered the ground, and debris was scattered everywhere from the devastating battle between Goku and Turles. The once distant, barren planet now shook under the weight of their powers.

Goku stood panting, his muscles aching from the intense fight. He was running low on energy, and every part of his body screamed in pain. Despite sealing his tail to avoid transforming into an uncontrollable Ozaru himself, he had still taken considerable damage from Turles's relentless attacks. Meanwhile, Turles, though visibly weakened from Goku's last assault, was still an enormous threat in his Ozaru form.

"I need to finish this, now," Goku thought, watching as Turles, still in his massive Great Ape form, staggered to his feet. Despite the exhaustion and the damage Goku had inflicted, Turles's size and strength were still overwhelming. His power had decreased, but even so, the colossal ape was not something Goku could take lightly.

"You're finished, Goku!" Turles bellowed in a deep, rumbling voice that echoed across the battlefield. His wild, bloodshot eyes scanned the area, searching for his target as he lumbered forward, each step shaking the ground. "This planet will be your grave!"

Goku quickly activated Shadow Steps, creating multiple afterimages around Turles to confuse him. The towering Ozaru roared in frustration, swinging his massive arms in every direction, trying to swat the illusions away. But Goku was moving too fast.

Suddenly, Goku appeared behind Turles, charging a powerful energy blast in his palm. "I can't let this drag on any longer. If I don't end this soon, I'll be out of energy." Goku aimed for the weak spot in the base of Turles's tail, knowing that cutting it off would revert him back to his normal form.

But before Goku could release his attack, Turles turned around, eyes glowing with fury. With a loud roar, he slammed his fist into the ground, sending shockwaves that disrupted Goku's afterimages and knocked him off balance.

"Damn! He's getting unpredictable in this form!" Goku thought as he tumbled across the ground, barely regaining his footing. Turles, using his enhanced senses, had begun to figure out Goku's strategy. Despite the enormous power boost from the transformation, Turles was losing control of his emotions, and his attacks were becoming more erratic and dangerous.

"I need to weaken him more before I can even think about going for the tail," Goku muttered to himself. He wiped the sweat off his brow and steadied his breath, focusing on his next move.

Without wasting another second, Goku summoned his energy into his hands, charging a special version of his Destructo Disc. This version, though smaller, was far more precise and could cut through almost anything. The only problem was Turles's barrier—the energy field that had been protecting him ever since his transformation.

"If I can just get through that barrier..." Goku thought, narrowing his eyes.

With a swift motion, Goku launched the Destructo Disc toward Turles's tail once again. The spinning disc whizzed through the air, aiming directly for the weak spot. This time, however, Goku wasn't just relying on raw power. He used his advanced manipulation of ki to guide the disc, making it curve around Turles's swings and dodges.

Just as the disc was about to strike, Turles unleashed another powerful shockwave, sending Goku flying back. But this time, the Destructo Disc cut through the weakened barrier, heading straight for the base of the tail.

In that moment, Goku smirked. "Got you!" he shouted.

But something went wrong. Turles, using his remaining ki, created a desperate energy shield around his tail, blocking the disc just before it could sever the appendage. Goku's attack bounced off harmlessly, leaving Turles's tail intact.

"What?! That should've worked!" Goku gasped, shocked that his most reliable technique had failed. Turles had anticipated his move and fortified his tail at the last second.

The Great Ape roared in triumph, towering over Goku once again. "You can't win, Goku! No matter what tricks you pull, I'm still stronger!" Turles's voice boomed, filled with overconfidence from his transformation.

Goku was running out of options. He didn't have the energy to sustain this fight for much longer, and his usual techniques weren't enough to penetrate Turles's defenses. He needed something new, something that would catch Turles off guard.

"I've got one last move that might work..." Goku thought. He clenched his fists, feeling the ki flow through his body. The technique he was about to use was something he had developed during his training, a powerful attack designed for moments like this.

As Turles charged forward, Goku began to gather all his remaining energy into one final attack. His aura flared up around him, glowing with an intense golden light. The ground cracked beneath his feet as he focused all his power into a single point.

"This has to work..." Goku said to himself, as he prepared to unleash the Energy Barrier Burst—a technique that combined his defensive energy shield with an explosive attack. By creating a barrier around himself and then detonating it outward, he could release a massive shockwave of energy that would break through even the toughest defenses.

Turles lunged at Goku, his massive fist raised to crush him. But before he could make contact, Goku activated the technique. A dome of energy surrounded him, glowing brightly as it absorbed the incoming attack.

"Now!" Goku shouted, and with a loud explosion, the barrier burst outward, sending a powerful shockwave directly toward Turles.

The force of the attack hit Turles head-on, shattering his energy shield and sending him flying backward. The massive Great Ape crashed to the ground with a thunderous impact, his body convulsing from the blow.

In that moment, Goku saw his opportunity. With the barrier gone and Turles momentarily stunned, he dashed forward at full speed. His hands glowed with energy as he charged another Destructo Disc, this time aimed directly at Turles's tail.

The disc sliced clean through the air, hitting its mark. In an instant, Turles's tail was severed, and his massive body began to shrink. The Great Ape's form faded, and Turles reverted back to his normal size, his power level plummeting as the transformation wore off.

Panting heavily, Goku stood over the defeated Turles, who lay unconscious on the ground. The battle was finally over.

"That was too close…" Goku muttered, wiping sweat from his brow. His body was battered, but he had won. Turles was no longer a threat.
