"Damn it!!"
Starck banged his right fist on the table shortly after he was cut off by the guild leader.
"What does he mean by choosing the city over the whole world?".
The Guild leader's statement sounded nothing more that an exaggeration in Starck's ear.
Of what business is the event troubling a city with only a population of ten thousand has anything to do with the whole world with a number that is yet to have a definite number residing in it.
"If he doesn't want to help then he should have said so. Why bother trying to save his face with such an obvious lie?"
Starck thought that the guild leader was trying to make excuses so he won't be branded as a coward or called names that points him out in a negative sense.
What he does not understand is why the guild leader would resort to thinking up an unbelievable excuse, using the world in general?
