Before you start reading, remember that this is a work of fantasy and any terminology found is an idea thought of by the author. I have no intention of offending anybody with this book, and if I have so far then I wholeheartedly apologize for that. ... It was a game, that is what it was, or at least that is what it was supposed to be. On the last day of the MMORPG LORDS, a day signifying its ultimate end, the high rankers of the game came together to stage an event, a PVP event to once and for all determine who the greatest player is. As one of the high-rankers, Sango as well participated in the game, getting to the last draw with his opponent. That was his last memory of LORDS, of his comrades and the world known to him as Earth. Awakening his eyes, his vision displayed before him a horrendous scene accompanied by a child monster kin, with a statue of himself versed as incarnate of authority. He was told that he had become a God in this new world, a God hated and feared by all for what he represents. The ones who acknowledged themselves as his followers were brutally murdered, and deemed heretics who were against the laws of the nine Gods. The last surviving follower beseeched unto him for might so that revenge can be claimed on those responsible for the massacre of her tribe. This is a story about a God walking down the path of destruction, staying true to his heritage.
The Fantasy game, LORDS is currently the world's number one virtual reality game worldwide. An intriguing fantasy game that immerses one's senses, blending them to make it feel like one had been reincarnated into an isekai-like world.
Many had given up their life on earth to become full members of the LORD's world.
Of course, they still had to take a breather now and then to prevent their brains from being fried up by the virtual reality headset used to connect them to the world of LORDS.
The break was recommended by experts to be at least a maximum of three hours long and a minimum of two hours long, or so they say.
LORDS' rise to fame was incredible as it was outstanding. By surpassing whatever competitive virtual game that existed and remaining at number one, a height where no other games could serve as its rival
It was an impressive feat but not without its drawbacks.
LORDS was becoming too popular. So popular that every kid and adults alike seek to find ways to gain access to the game and they were willing to do whatever it took to get them in.
The toxicity that LORDS brought about was catastrophic to the world itself. Keeping the people in and creating less room for the youths to socialize, leaving behind the old who are too.....aged to understand the logic behind LORDS.
Like a storm, LORDS came and sweep away the majority of the youths off the street. And like a virus, it quarantined them in its world.
The world's government started to realize the economic dangers that would be incurred in the future if LORDS were to be left alone to continue airing.
Most of the youths were not willing to go to school because they had been influenced by LORDS. And even those that managed to get themselves to school could not focus appropriately. Not with the expectations of going back home to continue playing LORDS being the only thing that wandered in their minds.
Unable to cope with the existence of LORDS any longer, the government of every country came together on an agreement to shut down the world of LORDS regardless of what the backlash would be.
People would rally. Some wrecking havoc to have their voice heard about bringing LORDS back, but it will all die down with enough time.
When comparing the damage that will be incurred from the protest of having LORDS back on the big screen and the dangers that LORDS will continue to pose if left alone?
The government decided to risk it because it was worth it. That is if they want to keep the youths active in society.
With that, it was officially decided that LORDS would be coming to an end starting with a notice sent out to every player in the world of LORDS.
Two months from now LORDS will be shutting down its server forever to never be opened ever again.
To celebrate and wish the world of LORDS a final goodbye, the high rankers within LORDS. The ones who started the game from the beginning and ended up being the ten most powerful existence within lords only after the sovereigns that is, decided on hosting a send-off activity.
The context of the activity required the ten rankers to come together and for the first and last time, participate in an open duel for every player within the world of LORDS to see.
The duel has been carried out with two beings standing at the podium that will end up deciding who the ruler of LORDS truly is before its end.
"Are you ready to do this!". The tone of her voice sounded womanly, and so does the rest of her body, blessed with a straightened figure, and a well-carved-out waist.
Her golden lux-coloured silky hair flowed down her shoulders adorning her oval-shaped jawlines.
Her name is Erica. And her role in the world of LORDS is competing for the title of number one ruler in LORDS with her opponent who she currently has her eyes on.

They were both equal in everything with none having an advantage over another.
Their surroundings went dead silent with the masses watching them, excitedly waiting for who would make the first move.
"Skill; Armor Slayer Summon, Destruction counter; Destruction Armor!". Erica made the first move by summoning armour that will be used against Sango.
Following her command, pieces of armour start fitting themselves on her body starting from the leg all the way to covering her head with a shade of black head gear while the rest of the armour on her body was coloured red and black, each bringing an ominous and fearsome figure.
The armour did not extend to every corner of her body leaving her tighs exposed with the upper part of her chest also exposed, revealing a small part leading to the inner part of her compacted bosoms.
"Skill; Grimoire Summon!". A black book appeared out of thin air, floating itself in front of Sango.
"spell cast, glacier!".
