Forever and Ever

Anastasia woke up on her side of the bed feeling a bit more energetic than usual. She looked to her side to find Caspian sleeping soundly.

Ever since she had returned from Xanmar, Caspian never got up before her. When she asked him if he didn’t have as much work as before, he simply told her that he wanted to wake up to her kiss instead of slipping out of the bed like a thief.

Anastasia smiled and wriggled closer to Caspian so that she could respect her husband’s wish. She gave a warm soft kiss on his lips and whispered to him, “Good morning, dear husband.”

Caspian smiled even before opening his eyes and hummed instead of wishing her back.

“Wake up.” Anastasia poked his cheek when he still refused to open his eyes.

Caspian pouted his lips instead, clearly asking for more kisses.

Anastasia giggled and went in for another kiss. This time, her kiss was instantly reciprocated by him.
