Building a Guild in a Fiction World using my Gamer System

Waking up in a fictional world where different movies combined to form a gigantic world of a sort. How would an ordinary guy become the strongest entity? By building a guild, of course. This is a harem novel so before anyone complains, I'll just put it out there. The harem isn't that large and is slow going. Movies include: Marvel, DC, John Wick, Fast and Furious Saga and so on.

Something's wrong pt.2

Heading upstairs, it didn't seem like he needed to do much as the series of dead bodies on the floor were enough proof of that. It seems John finished the remaining goons followed by the number of assassins.

Passing by a man with a pen lunged into his eye, Bruce couldn't but sigh, 'Does he really have an obsession with using stationary tools as weapons, god forbid I find someone with a whole geometry box shoved inside their head, I would likely lose my shit.'

It seemed with this level of assassins, John could work very well on his own. But one thing was slightly out of place, he hadn't heard gunshots in a while and there seemed to be only 36 assassins who were dead on the upper floor. John wasn't replying to his calls either.

Was he alive or not, he couldn't tell for sure but one thing was clear, something had happened to him.

Bruce readied himself, as he entered the final room only to find Iosef lying dead with a bullet in his head. A very familiar scent of perfume entered his nose as he couldn't help but smirk a little.

When a sudden voice coming from ear piece distracted him, "The transporter guy is in the mansion, are you okay? I can see-"

"You've done enough." Bruce cut her off, "You should leave now, I'll meet you in the usual place."

Before Suki could say something back he removed his ear piece.

He began looking around the place when he heard a groan coming in from underneath the bed.

Bruce walked over to check to find John lying there, with the way he seemed, he wasn't injured nor was he dead. But he seems to be paralyzed by something, poisoned maybe.

Bruce noticed something as John signaled to him with his eyes, as he quickly nodded.

Dodging whatever was about to come at him as he protected his head, Bruce tried to roll away from the bed but he was still shot nonetheless on his hands.

Not with a bullet, of course, but with a dart. A paralyzing dart to be exact.

[System detected a paralyzing poison in body]

[User not effected]

[Reduction on all stat's by 25% for 20 minutes]

Bruce chuckled on the inside, even with his skill down by a quarter he wasn't really worried about it. After all, with his above human vitality, it would take something a lot stronger if anyone wanted to affect him with any sort of poison.

And he could tell who it was before he could even turn properly. But the only thing that bothered him how the dart managed to hit him, after all, he dodged in an unpredictable manner, so being able to target him in that state on the only area of his body that wasn't protected seemed to be an incredible feat.

"Don't worry! my dear, it won't kill you." The voice which he was quite familiar with said as the woman slowly walked over to him, "It's been some time huh, Bruce."

Bruce who was playing paralyzed, just looked over at the woman who was none other than Perkins with his usual expression.

"Now that's the face, I can't forget." Perkins said smiling, "Seems like you didn't see me coming did you?"

'Well, I did saw you coming, I just didn't expect you to somehow manage to land a hit on me.'

Bruce who was finally putting pieces together had realized a couple of things already.

1. No one carried any gun, so the probability of an assassin who could likely kill him would be zero to none. The goons were basically not even worthy of mentioning.

2. All of it was seemingly a bit too easy for him as if almost all of it was just simulated to test him. The assassins couldn't talk, their skills were subpar, and the faint smell of gun powder in this room only came from John who was lying under the bed. So like him, Perkins had somehow managed to shoot him with the same dart too.

3. Perkin's distinct perfume which he was unfortunately familiar with, tied up all the clues neatly together.

But with the crazy bitch that she was, it was hard to tell exactly what she was thinking. He half expected her to shoot him with a real gun, which would've made things a bit easier but she went for the dart.

Looking at how things were going, Bruce knew he was about to witness his favorite villain explaining their plans to the hero scene.

He wasn't a hero nor was Perkins a villain, as far as he was concerned she was just an egomaniac. But this moment was his first in the world so he couldn't help but be a little excited.

"I know you enough Bruce, to make my preparations." Perkins said waving the dart gun near his face, "In any dangerous situation, you always protect your head first as that is the most vulnerable part of your body. But you always forget about your hands, which are left out in the open."

That was true but he had picked up the habit due to his bulletproof suit. He would use his arms to protect his head as those parts were bulletproof, but unfortunately, the suit didn't extend to his hands.

"And this gun was specifically design by Cipher's people to go against assassins like you. It's like a mini rocket that targets with precision, once shot it never misses, the only flaw being that it can't be used on heavier real bullets."

"But turns out that part is useful too, since you guys are so used to loud guns and their distinct smell to act on reflexes that this silent dart gun is enough to fuck with you." Perkins continued as she placed her hand on his cheeks, "Is your head running wild again?"

"What is happening? Why are you doing this? Is it part of Cipher's plan? Is that what you're thinking?" Perkins stood up, "Well, you'll be glad to know that it is part of her plan. Test to be quite precise."

Bruce who was laying on his back beside the bed was closely analyzing the situation, ready to attack at any moment. He could surely end this anytime he wanted, but he didn't. After all, this was a bit more fun than he had expected it to be.

"You see, I was part of her plan from the beginning. Unlike you who wanted freedom, I wanted cash as you would expect from me." Perkins said with a shrug, "But I failed her so-called test, and ended up just a toy she could push around. She wanted someone like you. Young and skillful, and hence I recommended you or to be more precise I completely sold you out."

"It's typical of me, so I know you wouldn't be sad about it." Perkins smirked, "Well, her test was too simple, to begin with, but she focused on simpler details than the whole task to be exact. And now that the crisis has been averted, the hard drive should arrive any moment and you could finish your task by killing Carter, which would be easy for you as well."

"Considering her reaction, it seems you've passed her test, so congratulations my dear Bruce," Perkins said with the fakest smile she could pull, "Now as for the why you're in this situation, it's something to do with your foolishness."
