Chapter seven
The smoke-filled forest appear to be acclimatize with her as she walk effortlessly in it with no ounce of fear or worry in her, it was like she was happy to be back to where she belongs which she had left for a long period.
In her eagerness to get home, she step on something that felt a bit hard and colder on her bare feet, she jump up at her gut feeling that it wasn't something good, looking at the ground carefully she sighted the crawled animal with it eyes shining brightly at her.
Realizing what it was she couldn't hold herself and freak out almost immediately as she yelled out loudly
"Snake!"
In that instant, Shaina regain her consciousness and jump off from where she was lying down in panic, she wanted to run out of the room but soon realize she just had a dream and nothing more.
Relieved, she sighs out and sit down back on the bed letting herself relax a bit more, she put her hands over stomach feeling so hungry, she only ate toasted bread and omelet for breakfast and now she feel starved.
"Mom, I need something…" she stops her sentence as she notice something really weird then it occur to her
"Where the hell I am?" she yelled to one in particular.
In a panic she rush out of the room and try to find out what is going on, getting out of the room she was in, she suddenly realize how unfamiliar and big the house is
Shaina feel at a lost on what to think or do, she's not certain of how she got inside the house or maybe she has been kidnapped by some evil…
She halt in her thoughts again suddenly remembering something else, she was taking a short stroll to clear her mind after the stupid fight with everyone when she suddenly got hit… and lost consciousness.
She panicked and think quickly on what to do before realizing her clothes has been changed to a better one unlike the rugged clothes she was putting on, she has heard story about girls getting kidnapped by creeps and suffer a lot of torture just to satisfy the culprit psychopath pleasure
"Anyone here?" she called out not sure if she should yell or not
Walking discreetly, she try to find her way to the door and maybe get lucky to escape from the place but soon she got distracted by the magnificent structure of the building and the richness contained in it
"This is far better than what I've dreamt of" she thought in admiration
Well anyone that kidnap her here must be an angel, it doesn't look anything hideous but fancy like a palace
"Where is this place?" she asked herself walking around more to check the whole thing out
In her long walk she walk to the second floor and have a tour around it but soon got to what seems to be the last door, it looks so dark and frosty unlike the other doors she has seen so far
Curious, she walk faster to it and place her hand on the knob ready to open the door, thinking this might be some kind of entrance to let her out of the house but just as she turn the knob, the door went open itself and an extreme force sent her falling to the floor
Before she could agonize her pain, an enormous figure appear along with fogs surrounding his appearance, it overshadows her so quickly that she could have no time to react and she could only try not to panic but try to figure out what on earth it is

It was a long conviction to let himself take a long break from the forest to spend years in the human world as a load of responsibilities pile up on him, ones he couldn't overlook but had to deal with in order to maintain the order in the world
After he finally had the chance, he hurry to get back to the new home he had created himself, earlier in the day he had took the human child to the home but because of her weak spirit-mind, she has slept more than anticipated
Thinking she will still be deep in slumber, he hasn't bother to change back to his human form but rather took his magnificent appearance of a demon lord and came over in a hurry, he open the only entry to the forest
"Human?" he sniffed then look down at the almost tiny figure on the floor
Shaina who was trying to see amidst the fogs, she look on to see what it was but then the figure came out clearer as it approach her
Looking much feet taller than her, he seems like a very huge man with a long white hair that gives it a scary appearance, she look closer to see his face but jolt back in panic as the non-human eyes stare fixed on her
"Please" she panicked more
"Don't hurt me" she pleaded moving backward on her butt
Samael who didn't know what to do, put his hand out to help her up and assure her he wasn't going to do anything to hurt her, but seeing the long sharped nails reach out for her neck, Shaina scream out loud and fainted.

Ian came rushing after he received his message, he drove into the house rush inside the building in fast speed as he calls unto his name in panic
"Samael!" Samael!" not getting any response from him, Ian panicked grow as he climbs the long stairs
He open the door to his room and saw him sitting down, there is a red stain on the floor and he wipe his blood stained lips away as he turn to face him
"You are here" he said casually
"What happened here?" Ian asked stuttering, hoping it's not what he's thinking
Samael stood up and cross his hands to the back "this human" he said and his eyes went up to Shaina on the bed
Ian also look to the direction and stagger a little back as he stares at the person on the floor, thinking maybe he had hurt and fed on her
"I did not touch her, she fell on her own" he said snapping him out of his thought knowing what he's thinking
"Then what happened?" he asked moving forward to her
"She's that human" he told him and Ian turn back at him looking confused
"What human?"
"Yesterday's party"
"What! What is she doing here?"
"I brought her to be my wife" he replied and sat down back
Ian looked shock at what he just said, deciding to take care of the lady first, he move closer to her and try to wake her up, tapping her gently but firm
"Miss?" he called repeatedly
After few minutes, Shaina regain her consciousness again and jolt up from the bed wanting to make a run away from the presence near her, just as she got up, her eyes instantly caught the familiar face in front of her and she rush forward to meet him
"Save me!" she said to him clinching unto his cloth for protection
Ian stare astound by the lady, did she just mistake him as her kidnapper while she go on to hug the one who took her instead
"He's a monster!" she said to him clinching more
"Monster?" Samael asked looking gazing from the two human
"I've known Fisher for a long time now and he's a kind human, there is no need to be afraid" he said taking her hands from his cloth but she refuse to let go and clinch tighter
"I saw him, he doesn't look human" she whispered to convince him
"Ahhh, if it about what you saw, that was…"
"Have been a bad dream Miss" Ian interrupt before he could reveal anything and Samael look at him
"Miss, I think there's been some misunderstand which we need to clear off, I'm Ian Fisher, the vice president of S.V Corporation" he introduced and brought out his business card to show her
Seeing the outstretch card, Shaina decided to take it to have a look at it, she read through and realize it wasn't a lie
"Was that really a dream?" she asked herself
"but how am I here?" she asked realizing what hasn't been cleared
Ian gaze at Samael who waited for him to find an excuse and take care of the situation as usual but there doesn't seem to be a good excuse for kidnapping her here, it would be insane to say his master wants to marry her just because he felt they had some connection last night
There is also the risk of letting out the secret identity of Samael and also the secret behind the corporation, these are things he couldn't risk letting out
"I'm marrying you" Samael let out seeing that Ian isn't ready to speak
"Huh?"
Shaina gaze from the two men and wasn't sure she understand whatever is going on, this couldn't be someone's idea of a joke, or maybe Selena is playing some trick on her
"Did my sister set you up to this?" she asked bluntly
"I'm sure your sister has nothing to do with this"
"Oohh…so this is why the internet was quiet? Because you guys were planning something else?" she said and move away from them
"Yes, this human said we should do it low-key to avoid people talking" Samael answered misunderstanding her words
"No that's not it Miss" Ian said sharply and caution him not to speak
"The thing is Mister….I mean my friend here would like to get married to you, during the party you asked him to be your husband because you need him to….and now he need…I mean he likes you and want to marry you, as his wife" he explained acutely
"Yesterday was a stupid lie and I apologize already so…"
"This is not some act or punishment Miss, there will be mutual agreement between you two to protect your rights and some benefits if you want"
"So you want me to get married to him?" she asked flummoxed
Ian nodded to answer her and she slowly to sit on the chair Samael was sitting on minutes ago in thought, she tried to reason the whole thing and it sounds so ridiculous and almost unbelievable
"This is not a prank right?" she asked again and Ian nodded again
Well, she had wish to get married before Selena could and there is a rare opportunity in front of her to fulfill this wish, not only will she be married to a strange man but he's also a close acquaintance of Mr. Fisher the vice-president of S.V, this is like two jackpot
Shaina is aware of how desperate her father is about getting investment from S.V and this, her sister hasn't be able to pull off, but here the chance to win over her parent is staring right at her, a chance to change her life as it might be
"When will his marriage take place?" she asked suddenly standing up
"Well, that will depend on you…"
"Before two weeks' time!" she blurt out
Mr. Fisher stare at her in amusement and nodded his head slowly at her request, he thought she hesitate much longer and ask for a long time to think about it
"Why two weeks? Now is fine" Samael cuts in their conversation
Ian wanted to complain and make him see reasons why that can't possibly happened but before he could utter the words Shaina speak up
"I coincide!" she said cheerfully all smiley that Ian couldn't help but find the young lady strange.
