Chapter eight

Dothad paces around panicked at the news of Shaina's disappearances since the early morning, he knows she could be one stubborn child but she's not a strong child who could endure much, just a little and she breaks down immediately

The police hasn't called since he reported the incident and neither did any of the places she visit has information about her whereabouts, he really hope nothing happens to her if not he's going to blame himself for being too harsh on her always

"Dad, could you stop please? I'm getting a headache here" Selena complained crossing her arms

Dothad turned to her and gaze angrily, the two women in front of him has shown no care in finding his missing daughter rather they wish she will never return, he knew they dislike Shaina but not this much hatred, it's like they want her out forever

"Shouldn't you be worried for your sister?" he asked

"What sister? That girl is one trouble I have in my life, the best that can happen is for her to be out of my life and…."

Dothad raise his hand to hit her but stop halfway as his wife quickly stare sterner at him, frustrated at both of them, he walk away from them and went to sit at the far end of the room

"I don't think Selena said anything much, I've done enough all these years raising her" she blurted

"Do not let Shaina hear that!" he cautioned

"Why can't we just seize this time and send her off?" his wife suggested

"Augusta!" he called her name with a tone of warning

"Don't you think it's time you let go of the past and focus on the present?" she yell back

"Well that past brought us this far and if we are not careful, we will be having nothing in the present" he told them and walk away angrily

"Nothing more is better than this" Shaina repeat to herself multiple times as she tries to breathe inside the over slim wedding gown

It was a famous design wedding dress she has always wish to wear on her wedding day to her first love, she might not be getting to Dylan anymore but she still desire to have the designer gown as her very own wedding gown but then, it turns out there is only a smaller size available now and since she can't wait she has to make do with the one available

The fashion designer assisting her push the gown a bit more down as she ask her to take more deep breathe in, finally after many breathes ins she was able to wear the dress comfortably

"You look beautiful" she complimented and Shaina gave a smile

"Where is your husband? I can't fix a suit for him now" she said looking around the room

Shaina also look around for him but couldn't find him anywhere, both men haven't ditch her have they? Maybe they played a big prank on her for the whole thing and had left her here alone

"Mr. Fisher?" she called out loud

"…." She wanted to call her supposed husband's name when she realize she doesn't even know his name

Shaina gave a loud laugh that made everyone in the room stare weirdly at her unexpected act, she must have been a fool to actually believe the proposal of a marriage in the first place, how can such miracle happen that?

"We are here" Mr. Fisher's voice announced as he walk to them with him beside him in a beautiful suit wear

Shaina stare dumbstruck at him, she isn't sure if it was the suit that made him look so beautiful and handsome at the same time but she was astound by his beautifulness, the other ladies in the room also look thunderstruck as they stare in shock and soon admiration at the man walking towards them

"Ian insisted I wear this to the wedding" he told her when he got to her but Shaina was too taken in to response

"Ermm" Mr. Fisher gave a fake cough to call the ladies attention back

"Huh…you look so handsome like some divine being" Shaina finds herself complimenting

"He looks like an angel not human" the ladies squeal happily

Mr. Fisher after he got a signal from Samael asked the other ladies to excuse them since they have nothing else to help them with

"Miss, can we proceed to the wedding now?" he asked

"No, wait a minute"

"Is there something else?"

"Yes, I would like to ask few questions" she said and Mr. Fisher nodded

"First of, what is your name?"

"Woman, you are so brazen asking for my name, I am…"

"Samael, just a letter word" Mr. Fisher answered instead and gave him a warning look

Flashback

"Rules?" Samael thundered and Mr. Fisher move backward in fright

He wasn't sure what he is doing deciding to stay in the human world for some time when he knows well how dangerous it is for himself and humans

Plus, he's really reckless and will surely be find out in no time, he has no valid permit or citizenship to stay in the country and he obviously can't marry a female without the human finding out his identity sooner or later, all these are things they need to solve before the supposed marriage

"You can never tell her about your real identity, neither can she find out who you are, if she does it will be dangerous for both of us"

"Why is that?"

"Because we are human, the moment she knows, everybody will know and the existence of mystical beings will be exposed then there will be war between..."

"I get it then he said dismissively

"what do you do?" Shaina asked her second question

"I keep the peace in you humans world, that's a great task no one can…"

"He mean to say, he's the owner"

"Owner?"

"Well Miss, you know the owner of S.V corporation, that's him" he revealed

Shaina's mouth fell open at the shocking disclosure, this man in front of her, the one she is about to get married to, is the hidden president of S.V could things get any better for her?

"So, you are saying he's the president, that big deal" she asked looking electrified

Mr. Fisher also smile at her reaction to the news he had expect such expression, anybody will do the same thing if they are in her shoes

"But wait, why haven't you show yourself to the public then? I mean you look super-handsome, presentable and fix, so why didn't…"

"That's…confidential Miss, I know you are getting married but…"

"I don't really care" she cut him short

Samael let them have their conversation but he was starting to get bored now and he needed to get married to her as sooner as possible, he glare at Ian who immediately retreat and lead them to a beautiful decorated hall full of different flowers

Shaina look in admiration at the beauty and smile satisfied, 'this is it' she whisper to herself and cross her arms with his, together they walk down the aisle and stop at the altar

"Since this is a private wedding, the couple read their vows themselves" Mr. Fisher announced to the two

Shaina breathed out slowly and look into the pairs of eyes in front of her, the colour look so beautiful that she couldn't help having a long stare at them

"I Shaina Dothad, promise to be your wife to love you and to care for you, I promise not to betray you till death do us part" she reads from the big screen displayed

"I…Demon Samael promise to protect you all my life and always be there for you" he recited but unlike her, he did have no screen to read from

"Did he mean what he says then?" Shaina wondered and her cheek turned pink in excitement

Two mystical beings stand in the air just above the hall where the ceremony is taking place, the first divine being was dressed in an extravagant way and the magnificence of her presence fills the air which she hover in

The color of her eyes turned greyish white and everything before her eyes became transparent that she could see through everything walls and objects, the more she sees the more translucent her eyes color becomes

"Should I break in?" her accomplice asked drawing out her claws

"Do you think Samael will let you live if you do that?" she asked turning to her and her eyes change to it normal magnolia color

"Then what are you planning to do?" she asked withdrawing back her talons

The demoness named Vivianne smiled a little and turn her back to the hall while she survey the whole world in a blink of an eye

"Nothing Vada, I won't be doing anything" she answered and the other gaze confusedly

"Why are we here then?"

"To see what kind of woman she is, that she could make Samael marry her"

"Ohh…but are you not worried? Great Samael is your supposed partner, you can't lose him to a human lady that has barely five years to live"

Vivianne smiled and pat her on the shoulder to calm down a bit seeing her anxious look

"As a divine bird of vision you should watch your tongues and know not to speak all the time" she cautioned and Vada quickly bow her head in apology

"Because of the war that took place twenty years ago, Samael has been in suffering and pains trying to find a cure, now that he found cure in this human, I should support his decision" she explained

"Do you think a human could replace me? I'm the lord of Vision"

Vada nodded her head in support of her words and together they turn to the hall to watch more before returning back to the forest.
