My entire field of vision is filled with a sea of clouds that wanders around, accompanied by the wonderful background of a bright blue sky.
The mountain peak that is known to be the tallest in the whole world, I managed to reach it.
Hey, it's Shun here. Have you ever thought of committing suicide in the grandest way possible?
No? Maybe it's just me then.
You see, I had a crazy thought of committing suicide in the grandest way possible. What would be even more grand than jumping off the peak of the tallest mountain!?
Okay, I know. There should be a grander option than this but it's the only thing I could manage, especially with my measly amount of money.
Eh? What was that sound that I'm hearing?
Must be my imagination.

"Haa… haa… haa…"
It's been a few hours since I've started climbing up one of the tallest peaks in the world known as Mount Everest. It was a very tough challenge but I managed to pull through.
"YESSS! Eat that you jerks! Look at me now! Who said that I won't be able to do it!?"
I shouted on the top of my lungs as I tried to release all of my frustrations. My eyes turned misty, remembering all the things I've gone through to reach this point in my life.
However, I soon regretted doing that as the thin supply of air in this mountain peak made me breathe in an even more labored manner.
"Hahh, at least I, haa, managed to achieve something before I breathe my last…"
As I look down at the very steep cliff below me, my suicidal thoughts once again surfaced. You see, I was once a NEET who lives off of their parent's hard earned money.
However, one day, my life changed when I got accepted at a game company. It's not like I'm boasting but it seems like my boss at the time really thought that I'm such a great employee.
Due to that, I didn't have a hard time climbing up the corporate ladder.
However, where there's light, there will always be darkness that threatens to consume you. That's what happened to me.
Because I rose so quickly, many got jealous and conspired against me. As I am but a NEET who just got out of the confines of my comfortable room to experience society, I wasn't experienced enough to protect myself from these greedy hyenas that populates the world we live in.
They sabotaged the project I'm working on before throwing me under the bus. Well, that's what I get for trusting them, I guess?
Before I could even take flight, not only were my wings cut off, but they made sure to also cut all of my limbs. They left nothing for me.
Honestly, I could only laugh at how I turned out to be after years of hardwork. I could probably be the protagonist of a tragedy anime and earn many awards through that if I so wished.
Those guys who gives the scores like tragedies after all, those masochistic perverts.
Anyway, laughing off while facing a problem is what I learned from my Filipino cousins. Whenever you're facing something terrible, just laugh it off. Find something fun, be optimistic.
Remembering my bright and cheerful cousins, the dam that is blocking my tears from flowing out finally broke.

I slowly inched closer and closer to the cliff. As I was nearing it, I suddenly remembered the disappointed looks that my family gave me when I chose to give up.

Watching the snow beneath my feet, I steeled my expression once again, ready to turn around and face the world for the second time.
What am I doing?
Am I an idiot for giving up just like that?
Can't I just rise up once again and trample on those who took advantage of me like some anime protagonist of a hot blooded shounen manga!?
Before I could do that though, it seems like God had different plans for me.

I heard an unknown sound coming from behind my back. It sounds like those plane engines from those plane crash movies I watched but I'm not too sure.
Curious, I looked back and saw a flaming bird. No, it's a plane, actually. Then, as that thought began sinking inside my brain, I blanked out for a few seconds.
"Is it heading right where I'm standing!?"
Surveying my surroundings, I tried to think of a way to escape my current predicament. However, there is no place for me to go.
I can't just go down because, if I do that, the best case scenario for me is; I'd probably get away with only a few broken bones. At worst, I'd die.
Basically, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Because I'm still rooted on my spot, I was unable to dodge the incoming airplane. The head of the plane collided with my small frame, sending me barreling midair. Then, the next thing I knew, I'm already falling down the abyss.

At an unknown place surrounded by a sea of clouds, a room of about a few meters wide lies within. A man with numerous battle scars, bulging muscles, a pair of fluffy dog ears, and a tail spoke to a little boy who's playing with a toy airplane.
"Son, why are you playing with that stupid toy of yours again!? How many times do I have to tell you? Don't play with it! Everytime you touch that goddamn toy, my workload would always increase!"
"Eeeeh~! But pops, it's such a fun toy!"
"I don't care if it's fun or not! Just drop the toy and play with the truck I made for you!"
"Boo! So stingy!"
The boy threw his toy plane haphazardly, wanting to throw a tantrum.
"You little kid, you're starting to show your tempe—"
Just before the giant dog eared man is about to give his son a piece of his mind, he suddenly stopped dead on his tracks and looked at the toy airplane that's lying on the floor.
"Again… I have to deal with this again…"

"An unknown ceiling…"
I don't know how long I've been out cold but I feel like I just needed to say those words. It's one of the words I want to say atleast once.
I've always wanted to say it like some anime protagonist but I never had the chance to do so.
Huh? Wait, I?
What was my name again?
Weird… Nothing comes to mind…
It's like, after that plane crashed onto my body, all of my attachments to that world also disappeared along with it.
I can't remember my family, my friends, heck, I can't even remember my own birthdate! Wait, I feel like I tend to forget about that most of the time so that doesn't count.
Anyway! The point is, I can't remember anything except for a selective amount of memory. Is this what they call selective amnesia?
While I was brooding over this strange phenomenon, I suddenly heard someone speak from in front of me.
"No, it isn't selective amnesia boy. That's a normal thing to experience every time someone dies."
"Hehh… Is that right? Thank you…"
Eh? Who is it who talked just now?
"It is I."
When I heard someone speak once again, I finally directed my attention to the source of the voice.
There, I saw a muscular middle aged man with many scars on his slightly tanned skin. He's wearing a gaudy outfit that is really out of place if you look at his build and appearance.
What's more, this guy have a pair of dog freakin' ears sitting on top of his head and a fluffy freakin' tail swaying from left to right! Have you seen a muscular middle aged man cosplay, wearing a dog girl outfit?
Imagine! Just imagine it! Then, imagine how unholy a combination a body building uncle and a dog girl is!
That's how disgusting it is.
Ugh… I'm feeling nauseous… Like, really nauseous…
"Oi brat! You surely have some big balls, badmouthing me in my presence. I'm surprised you can still walk around with balls that big."
