Chapter 4: New life, New family

Ron Pov:

After recovering from another flashbang I looked around my room to discover that i was in a cradle I looked around to see that i was not alone, a little boy was also in the room watching something on the pc, I couldn't make it out as i was parallel to the screen.

I tried to feel around and I discovered that i somehow felt more energetic than i ever had before, i also felt very hungry but that is not important, what is important is that i can stand up with support so i must be atleast 12 months old , looking around the room i saw that the room looked very normal with the exception of some superhero figurines an i instantly recognised one of them from twitter, it was the buff Japanese Homelander.

Looking around more, i saw a mirror in which a small child who looked to be about aged 2 y/o was looking at me curiously, 'i look exactly like kid luffy'. Atleast i don't have that goofy facial scar but my smile does look like his which is very goofy.

I let go of the railing and fell back in my cradle, I started thinking of the questions i wanted to ask the angel before everything went black and felt infuriated, thats when i got a severe headache and body ache and i started to cry, 'fuck, this hurts, is this what a brain aneurysm feels like, I've never experienced this much pain before'.

Suddenly the pain stopped, it went as suddenly as it came but now I could remember things I haven't experienced before, they seemed to be both the memories of my current body before consciousness and of Monkey D Luffy. I could only see them when i wanted and then i heard the door open and a young woman came in and started speaking in a concerned tone, i recognised this woman as my mother and i could pick up on some words she was saying but I couldn't understand anything.

She picked me up and put a feeder in my mouth while talking in a baby voice. 'Why didn't i have the foresight to request some kind of translator or something these few years will be miserable'. Looking around i saw the child going back to the pc, he was probably the one who called my mother when he heard me crying and couldn't comfort me and get me to stop crying by himself, believe me I didn't even feel him do anything cuz of the pain.

From my memories I understand that we were not at our house but at the house of my mother's co-worker who is letting us stay here for free after we got evicted from our precious apartment. Also from my memories i could make out that I have a single mother and my father who was some foreigner abandoned my mother after he found out he got her pregnant in senior year of high school, after that my mother has been continuously struggling to earn a living wage with just a high school diploma for our safety.

All of this made me very furious and i will never let anyone hurt my mother again, these memories made me sympathise and care alot about this woman who was surprisingly almost 20 years old.

She started feeding me some solid food which i think was beans and vegetables but it tasted burnt but it did make me instantly more energetic and i felt like I could run a mile now, 'Is this the power of life return, i saw luffy digesting tons of food and being back to full shape and never believed it but now i feel more active than an olympic athlete but i was only about 16 moths of age'.

My mother put me on the floor after feeding me and i started walking around the room to use up this energy, my body wasn't rubber yet but i had access to life return and luffy's memories and instincts. My mother and the boy started giggling at me and I also followed which was weird cuz I didn't find anything funny.

The boy named Mirio Togata was the son of my mother's colleague Mirio Denji and was almost 4 years old , he was a lively, goofy and energetic kid who aspires to be a hero like the one he was saved by and reminds me of luffy besides the fact that his father is present.

Who speak of the devil just came to the room and was talking to my mother and saw me looking at him curiously and reached out to touch my hand, i blinked and when I opened my eyes, i saw his hand pass through mine like it was nothing and started speaking to me and his son who did not seem amused in a baby voice. This is getting annoying now.
