The days flew and soon Taehyung found himself packing his belongings in cardboard boxes and taping them. Then helping the men to load the stuff into the truck afterwards.
"This is it," his mum sighed, locking the door from outside. "We're off to a new start in life." She turned around to hug Taehyung before they got into the car ready to leave.

"Here's where you'll be staying," an old grumpy woman led them up the stairs and pointed to a door. "Here." She pressed the keys against Taehyung's chest and let go of it to fall before he could grab it and walked down the stairs. "Call me if you need anything."
Taehyung's mum faked a smile. "We will." As Taehyung bent to pick the keys up.
They unlocked the door to find an old, empty apartment staring back at them. The dust on every surfaces were inches deep and Taehyung couldn't help but start sneezing as they entered, making dusts fly around. The wooden planks that made the floor were so weak, he thought it could break any moment he stepped on them. There were two bedrooms and he decided to take the smallest one.
Just when I thought the people here weren't so bad, this lady had to ruin it all, Taehyung said to himself, wheeling his luggage into the small room. "Mum! It's just plain empty! There's no furniture here!"
"Yes, Tae, our furniture is still in the truck and we'll load them here tomorrow. For now let's just sleep on bubble wraps, alright. And I've bought some instant ramen for dinner."
Taehyung walked back to the hall to see if his mum was joking but he was wrong. And that's what they did exactly. Let's just say, sleeping on bubble wraps kept him awake for hours.
The next day, he was woken up early to help move the furniture. He was tired an hour later and decided to rest on a bench just outside his apartment, watching his mum talk to the men who moved the furniture.
Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a boy about his age walk towards one of the apartments of the same floor. He dug into his pockets, searching for his key until they finally made eye contact.
"H-Hey," Taehyung managed to say.
The red-haired boy frowned, walking towards him. "You're the new neighbour?"
"Yes, my name is Taehyung." He smiled at the emotionless boy. Everything about him screamed 'alpha'. He nodded and turned around to walk back to his apartment, finally found his key.
Weird. I already hate it here, Taehyung said to himself, watching the guy close the door behind him avoiding his direction.
Relax! You might find better people! His wolf, V said.
The two people I've already met are not so nice. I'm losing hope, V, he sighed. This guy might be the true blood Jin told him about.
His mum approached him, wiping sweat off her forehead. "Taehyung, let's go set everything in its place and tidy up now. You'll have to get ready for school tomorrow."
Taehyung groaned, but still obeyed.

Taehyung exited the apartment just in time to see the red haired boy lock his apartment door from the outside. Does he live alone or something, he thought to himself.
"Hey!" Taehyung plucked up some courage to say, making the boy turn to him. "I wonder if we go to the same school."
"We better not," he replied emotionlessly before making his way down the stairs, Taehyung following.
"You don't have to be so mean." He pouted which of course the boy didn't notice. He had to admit the boy was very good looking with that bright red hair and mullet, and not to mention those plump lips.
"The others would treat you more worse so take this as a warning." The boy glared before taking huge steps to make a bigger distance between him and Taehyung.
"And why would you even think that?" Taehyung jogged to keep up.
The boy got into the backseat of a car that was parked in the lot. "Because you're an omega," he replied like it was an obvious fact, slammed the door and drove off, leaving Taehyung speechless as tears welled his eyes. Why does his first day have to be so bad already?
He walked his way to school, looking at the map on his phone and when he eventually arrived, he was fifteen minutes late. He quickly ran to his first class, apologising to the teacher and made his way to an empty seat at the back.
"Took you long enough."
He looked to his left to see the red haired boy smirk at him. So they were in the same class for science? Taehyung already hates his new life. Oh how he misses Jimin.
"That's Kim Taehyung, the new student," Taehyung bowed at the teacher's words. Every student turned to look at him up and down before whispering to their friends.
He looked to his right to catch some staring at him and looking away quickly and the same when he looked left. He felt more and more nervous as time flew.

It was break time and he carried his lunch tray to an empty table.
"Nah, Omega, that's our table," he looked up to see four boys glaring at him holding their lunch trays.
"I don't exactly see your name here," Taehyung said before he could stop himself. He has always wondered how he has sudden courage at moments like this.
"What was that? That sure did not sound like an Omega," the buff guy huffed before punching Taehyung in the jaw making people around snicker. "Do you have to be asked twice or...?" He took a step towards him, cracking his knuckles.
Taehyung quickly stood up, lightheaded and pain shooting up his jaw. He took his lunch tray and looked around to find another empty spot and the black spots in his vision made it only harder. Before he knew it, his tray crashed at his feet.
