When a questionable omega is forced to move to a city with Alphas, he fears whatever's destined to him.

Taehyung opened his locker slowly, taking out his new books. His mouth felt dry. Today was his first day at the new school. He hoped the other kids would be nice to him or--
"That's the new kid!"
He turned around to see three boys leaning against one of the lockers smirking at him.
"Umm... hi..," Taehyung said, barely aloud for them to hear.
"Taehyung is it?" The tallest of them sneered. "Heard your dad left you because he was ashamed of you. You must be an...." he paused pretending to think, "omega?"
"He does look like one," said the shortest one.
"Aww, he's gonna cry," the other sang.
Taehyung slammed the door of his locker, turned away from them and headed to his first class. He barely started on his new school and it's already so bad. How is he going to survive here? He being an omega is going to make it even worse.
Because omegas are looked down upon and are called "Weak". He knew it was NOT going to end well. He already misses Jimin who would've comforted him in times like this. Despite being a beta, Jimin never looked down on him and always treated him right. As he always say "you should always treat others the way you want to be treated."
"Taehyung!"
I opened my eyes and found myself hugging a pillow. I looked at the door and saw mum standing there, hands on her hips.
"When did you even come home?"
"Huh?" Did I just dream about the new school? I looked around to see that I was in my room, moonlight spilling from the windows which disappeared as soon as mum drew the curtains closed.
"Dinner's ready," mum huffed. "What made you come home so early, huh?"
"I wanted to ask you something," I blurted out, voice raw from sleep.
"Come downstairs and we'll talk about it while we eat." And that's what Taehyung did exactly.
"You didn't tell me I had to transfer to a new school!" I said before forkful of noodles entered my mouth.
"Oh, about that," mum smiled. "I was going to tell you but I forgot. We're leaving next week!" She squealed the last sentence.
"But mum, I don't want to leave!" I laid the fork on the table. "I can't leave Jimin! He's my only friend!"
"Come on, Tae, you'll make more friends there at Cameron High School! The people in Bangtan city are really good too and you'll see a lot of skyscrapers there!" She smiled dreaming.
"I'm so bad at making friends, mum! I'm an omega for god's sake and you know how it's going to be. I was lucky to have found Jimin but now I'm gonna lose him!"
"Tae, let's give it a shot, okay?" She sighs. "You know how I really need that job. And wait... didn't you ask for new shoes once? You can get it after my first pay check!" Her smile returned.
I sigh. I really I want those new shoes but my best friend was more important to me... I didn't want to argue more as I know I'm gonna lose this argument anyway. I finish eating and go upstairs to shower and sleep.

It was the beginning of the weekend and Taehyung was going to meet up with Jimin in a cafe downtown.
He walked down the stairs, listening to the soothing piano music that circulated the house – Beethoven Moonlight Sonata third movement. Entering the living room, he found his mum playing on the piano.
"Mum, I'm going out to meet Jimin. I'll be back soon," He interrupted, making her turn her head to him.
"Alright, Tae, but be back home before 2. I'll be making lunch soon." With that she turned back to her piano.
When Taehyung reached the cafe, his eyes immediately fell on Jimin seated at a table. But he wasn't alone.
A good looking guy sat across from him, engrossed in a conversation until Jimin noticed Taehyung and waved at him to come over, making the other guy turn around to look at him. Taehyung made his way over to them and sat beside Jimin, his eyes stuck to the unknown boy.
"Tae, this is Seokjin. He's the son of this cafés owner," Jimin said. "And Jin, this is Taehyung, my best friend". Taehyung smiled at that.
"Nice to meet you, Seokjin," He blushed
"Oh, you can call me Jin alright," Jin chuckled. "And it's nice to meet you too. I saw Jimin sitting here alone and I thought he might like some company, so I came over..." he got to his feet. "and since your best friend is here, imma.." he stepped backwards tripping on a chair behind him. "... just leave."
"No," Taehyung was quick to say making both the boys to look at him. "It would be amazing if you joined too."
Jimin smiled, nodding towards Jin.
"R-Really?" Jin chuckled. "Alright then, lemme go get some lattes for the three of us and be back soon." He scurried off making Taehyung and Jimin giggle.
"By the way, Jimin," Taehyung sighed. "Looks like mum's not gonna change her mind. We're leaving next week."
Jimin sighed. "I'm not surprised really. But next week? I didn't know it was that soon."
"You knew it was gonna be this month, right?"
Jimin didn't get to answer as Jin arrived, placing three lattes on the table. "So? What have I missed?" He sat down smiling.
"Nothing much. Just that Tae would be leaving us next wee- ouch!" Jimin said earning a kick on his leg.
Jin raised a brow, fighting back a smile. "You're leaving? To where?" he looked curiously at Taehyung while sipping at his latte.
"Umm... to... Bangtan," he fiddled with the hem of his t-shirt. For some reason, he couldn't believe it himself.
He has been living in Got7 for nineteen years of his life and he has gotten used to everyone and everything and although not everyone in this city is nice to him, he has tried his best to cope up with the difficulties and it was going so well until he has to finally move. He only hopes Bangtan city to be any different.
"Bangtan?" Jin said, surprise laced in his tone.
Taehyung raised a brow. "Have you been there?"
"Not really. But I've heard a lot of stories," Jin paused, deep in thoughts. "They might also be rumours but just be careful. Judging by your scent, you must be an omega."
"I am." Taehyung gulped. "What's the stories about?"
"They're not important, Taehyung, they're just rumours!" Jimin said quickly, placing his hand on his arm.
"But I want to know. How do you even know if they're rumours? They could be true!" Taehyung looked sharply at Jin.
"Alright fine, I'll tell you," Jin sighed. "My mate had to move there too because his parents lived there and they got sick. He spoke everyday until one day... he stopped talking to me all at once."
"What? Why?" Jimin and Taehyung asked making Jin hold his hand up to silence them.
"According to him, things weren't going so well there. The city is infested with Alphas. The son of the cruel leader there is a true blood alpha." Taehyung and Jimin gasped at the words emphasised.
"That's impossible. I've heard pure bloods are really rare, let alone an alpha being one!" Jimin said aloud making a few people to look at them.
"Exactly. So this could just be a rumour. I also heard that the pure blood used to hold his victims hostage in an abandoned building and torture them and not let them die easily until he satisfied his sadistic instincts."
Taehyung gulped. It can't be true. The more Jin narrates the story, the more unbelievable it gets. It must just be a rumour, he said to himself.
"Speaking of Alphas, did I tell you I can smell an alpha among us?" Jin said sniffing the air.
"Y-You're an alpha?" Jimin asked.
"No, silly. An omega is what I am," Jin sighs.
"It's none of us."
"I can smell it alright. My mate's an alpha too."
"Who's your mate?" Jimin frowned, curiosity showing.
"Kim Namjoon."
