A rank gate; New chatroom member

Three days later.

Ren had talked and gotten to know every member of his group that he was going to enter the gate with.

Surprisingly, the last member of their group, which came from Yamato's guild, was Usopp.

Which Ren also recognized from the anime one piece, the same as Robin and Yamato.

He wasn't sure yet, but he guessed their agency was just their pirate crew in the anime world.

As for Usopp, he was certainly as he had imagined he would look in reality.

He was a slightly muscular person and had grown his hair out. He also has a pair of goggles around his neck and has some headphones or ear protectors on. He had a little goatee with a new white suncap on top of his head. He also has a pair of rolled-up yellow pants with red suspenders and a pair of boots.

A trademark red satchel hung on his waist, and he has a blue and white striped wristband on his left arm.

They had met for every day and then got well acquainted with what they'll be doing inside the gate.

Yamato and Ren were the warriors of the group and would basically deal the melee damage and tank against the monsters.

Meanwhile, Sicily was the healer, and Momo and Usopp were their ranged support.

And although Sicily can do the same, she would focus more on healing. Only helping with her attack magic when in need.

And then this left Hinata who would also be melee but would focus on guarding their healer and ranged support, the sharpshooter Usopp and Momo.

Right now, they were all walking to enter the gate, as Yamato had just finished signing the relevant papers.

Everyone had their weapons on them. For Ren, it was his Khopesh, for Yamato her club, for Hinata, she didn't have one as she was a martial artist. This left only Sicily which had a short staff, and Momo who can create either a bow or cannons to attack.

They were all wearing different clothing, and while the combat suits that can provide good defense were important, some heroes didn't need them.

Like Yamato, who only had her regular clothes.

For Hinata, she had a combat suit that was custom for her. And Ren could see how it was almost similar to an Anbu outfit from Naruto.

She had a pouch on her leg, where her Kunais were stored. While she was a martial artist, she could use those short daggers for attacking. She was a ninja and was trained as such from her young days.

For Ren and the rest, they all wore the form-fitting combat suit. Although Ren thought that this gate wouldn't really prove any trouble to him, he still followed Yamato's words.

His sword hung on the back of his waist.

'Look at this guy…'

Ren chuckled as he eyed the supposed ranged support they would be counting on.

The guy was so scared he was holding so tightly to his weapon as his knees were trembling.

A black-colored metallic contraption that looks like a cross between a staff and a slingshot. It is apparently named after the beetle of the same name due to its resemblance to the beetle's horn.

Even with Yamato on the back, and Hinata covering the sides, he was still scared.

As if hearing him laugh, the guy in question turns to him in anger.

"Hey, hey you bastard, aren't you also B ranked? This is an A-ranked gate, it isn't something we should be doing…" He yelled at Ren waving his weapon around, tears gathering around his eyes.

Ren smiled.

"Relax, we have many strong heroes with us, why be scared, no?" Ren shook his head at him.

He didn't bother explaining that his status had changed.

He only told Yamato and Hinata, since they were the leaders. And it seemed that they forgot to tell him, or maybe they did since he only came for the last day of the meeting.

Although in a way, Ren can be considered as strong as Yamato, he still left the lead for her.

Yamato also looked at Usopp with disapproval.

"I'm here, why are you scared? And this is good for you" she told him.

"Scared? Who said I am scared this is just… just my 'Can't-get-inside-a-gate' disease acting up, yes, it's that" Usopp came up with a lie on the spot as he saw there were mostly girls around them, and they were looking at him in contempt. Even Yamato.

Ren laughed as he heard him.

Usopp was annoyed.

'Damn it, that devil Nami…' Usopp had been forced to come this time by order of their Leader, Luffy, and that was due to Nami urging him.

She wanted him to get further in ranks. His potential as they said wasn't just a B rank.

But he heard her discreetly say to Yamato…

'Make sure he is beaten half to death, otherwise, he won't get stronger any time soon,'

He shivered as he imagined that.

And he couldn't understand how the guy, Ren, was so calm being as strong as him. They were about to fight A ranks, it was A rank, not some weak monsters… And Rn was supposed to be their melee unlike him who would be protected.

He shook his head and tightly held on to his weapon. Discreetly, he looked at Hinata.

'She better protect me well… or, or, our leader would beat her up,'

Sicily, Momo, and Hinata from the side shook their heads as they had smiles on their faces.

Hinata was a co-leader and was from an agency like Yamato. Yamato had called her and she thought why not, it would help the other members and it had good pay.

Meanwhile, Sicily and Momo were long-time friends of Yamato's agency, specifically of Robin and Nami and they always entered the gates with them.

Soon, they had all passed the gate, and a new world greeted their eyes.

A snowy forest and icy mountains greeted their eyes.

Yamato took a deep breath of what felt, to her, like a fresh breeze or cool wind.

Meanwhile, Sicily, Momo, and Hinata felt the cold touch their soft skin and shuddered a bit. Especially Moo as her suit was custom made for her and had many openings to allow her to use her trait better. This resulted in her showing a lot of skin, but also made her feel cold now.

But there was a solution. They pressed a button on their suit, even Usopp did. It adapted their suit to the place they were in and provided them heat.

*Fuah*

Only then did they sigh in relief.

Sicily looked at Ren and Yamato in amazement.

'So cool…' She was feeling very amazed by Ren.

The opposite of Usopp who felt life was unfair. Why couldn't he be as cool as Ren…? Wouldn't girls flock to him, the brave hero of the world, similar to how he could see all girls with him look at Ren with sparkling eyes?

As of right now, Ren was holding his hand on the hilt of his word, and crouching as he surveyed the area, his position at the front of the group as they had discussed before. Not at all caring about the cold.

Since it didn't have any effect on him…

Even Yamato gave a nod of approval.

"Take your positions, you guys!" She ordered as she shook her Kanabo dangerously at them.

The snow moved like a wave from the casual shake of her weapon.

Sicily slapped her forehead as she seemed to remember where they were, and hurriedly took her place in the formation. Momo followed her example and hid her embarrassment quickly.

*Cough*

Hinata coughed to hide her embarrassment and took her place a bit forward to Sicily, with Usopp, and Momo hurriedly standing on each side of her.

This left Sicily, the healer in the exact middle.

They each readied their weapons and raised their awareness.

Yamato nodded her head.

"Then let's go!"

*Roaaaaarr*

A roar from the distance reached their ears as a monster spotted them.

It was a huge bear with blue eyes and no pupils. Its fur was white and had jagged beautiful ice crystals growing throughout its back and shoulders.

Its claws seemingly looked to be made from ice and were akin to crystalized daggers.

Yamato signaled them to get ready, as the bear started charging at them.

Meanwhile, as Ren was venturing inside a gate, something else was happening elsewhere…

A person that had been stalking Ren for a while now was presented with some shocking occurrences.

This was a girl that looked to be around 18 years old and had a doll toy in her hand.

She has long, light purple hair in a braid to the back and a light pink frill ribbon tied to it. Her eyes are magenta in color and she was wearing a white choker around her neck. Her dress is teal with a mix of pink, white, and light orange with thigh-high socks and bear slippers to match.

(A/N: Pic! Also inside the gate, there would be some 'Fun' with Yamato and Ren, hehe)

Her clothes consisted of colorful articles that looked as if it was a pajama, and right now she was flying in the air above Ren's location. Having entered the gate after him to continue observing him.

No one could seemingly notice her. Not even Ren or Yamato who had very high observation haki. Not to mention she was also flying very high in the sky…

This was Plutia.

A rather known cute SSS-ranked superhero.

She was sort of an Idol to the masses, and everyone liked her. Even her fellow superheroes.

'What is this thing…?'

The reason for her shock however was this:

All might wondered if this was another person than the one he had in mind.

-Tatsumaki: Hmph, I always felt there was something wrong about her

-Whitebeard: Isn't that just because you are jealous of how famous and liked she is? Gurarara

Whitebeard was a very carefree old man, and he always enjoyed messing with Tatsumaki. Even though he quite liked the lass and wanted her to be among his family as his daughter… But she refused many times...

-Tsunade: The effects of the potion were verified, for now, I'm willing to believe that everything this chatroom throw at us has some truth

This was the conclusion she had reached after verifying the potion Ren had sent her.

-Whitebeard: If even Tsunade says so… I think this old man would have to look at the little lass with different eyes from now on

-All might: Whitebeard calm down, this isn't necessarily the same person

-Robin: Wait, everyone… isn't there something more important?

Whitebeard: ???

Tsunade: ???

All Might: ???

Tatsumaki didn't ask but it was apparent that she also wanted to ask the same thing as them.

-Robin: Her page in the system says she is ranked… EX!!!"

Her comment made everyone in the chatroom stand up in shock wherever they were at this moment.

Ex rank? What the hell was that? Such a rank existed? was it above SSS rank?
