An even crueler glint than earlier was reflected in his eye.

Meanwhile, the very same old man the masked person was thinking about earlier, was currently inside of a gate.

On the scene, was the old man with only one of his children.

They were inside a forested area, and the old man despite only jumping from branch to branch, was still faster than the kid who was in his hybrid phoenix form.

"Pops, slow down, we are not yet sure everything is fine for you to be this unrestrained,"

It was Marco the phoenix.

The response he got, however, was just an annoying laugh.

"Gurarararara"

Marco shook his head, as he noticed his pops instead increased his speed.

'He noticed some monsters…'

Marco knew the increase in speed then. It was since he had found a few monsters to attack.

He then watched as his pops jumped from a tree branch and prepared his Bisento to attack.

Black and red lightning started appearing around his weapon, as a huge white bubble of energy appeared surrounding the head of the weapon.

Marco's eyes widened as he saw something.

"King's haki!"

His father hadn't been able to perform these attacks ever since he had gotten sick, but now he was casually doing so…

He flew very quickly as he changed to a full phoenix form to fly faster.

When he caught up to his pop, he witnessed the bisento cutting one of the larger bear monsters under without even touching it.

And the shockwave that spread from such a strike destroyed the part of the fort they were on completely.

The ground was unearthed, the trees were uprooted and a huge part of the ground was just obliterated into dust.

As for the other bear monsters… needless to say, the shockwave itself wrecked them and deleted their existence reducing them to particles.

"Gurarararara"

The old mand landed on the ground as he laughed loudly.

He twirled the bisento rapidly before he slammed its butt onto the ground.

The old man still smiling took a deep breath and then he screamed as loud as possible with everything he had.

"I, Whitebeard, Am back!"

He announced to the world that he had returned.

As for what he meant…

'To think the potion he had drunk was this effective…'

What Marco was talking about was the potion that randomly appeared in his pops hands when Whitebeard had returned after dealing with the gate situation and healing in the hospital.

At that time, Marco and his other children had been visiting him and they were very scared for their father.

Marco used his blue healing flames but they weren't very effective, and even Tsunade only did as much as she could possibly do.

It was then that Whitebeard swished his hand in the air, and a bottle magically appeared.

Without letting them react, he drank the whole thing and stunned them.

But then under their shocked looks, his injuries healed visibly.

And that was not all…

In fact, while that was almost impossible to happen, it was still in the realm of being believed.

The next thing that happened to the old man was the thing that had them silenced from the shock.

The old man's body started reverting back to a state when he was still healthy, around the age of 40 years old.

When his hair was still golden, and his body was as powerful as it could be.

It was as if the old man had found the fountain of youth and then drank from it.

Marco particularly was the most speechless and stunned.

Medically what he had seen was impossible, but seeing that they were in a world full of impossible things, he was able to eventually accept it.

Overall, as they got past their shock, none of them felt bad about this and were very happy for their pops.

As for the person himself.

"It's great to be myself again after all this while… Gurarara"

"Now, even SSS ranks can't do much against me…"

After he had stopped the SSS gate with Ren, he had gotten a reward.

And that reward was what's responsible for him regaining his youth.

It was a potion that existed in the store and was worth an astronomical price.

Normally destroying an SSS rank gate wouldn't give such a thing, but the system was pretty lavish in its reward since it was the first mission.

And Whitebeard was very grateful for that.

'I no longer need to worry about my sickness…'

He had this thought.

And it was all thanks to the system he and Ren could access.

'I wonder if that brat had woken up or not yet?'

He laughed again.

'He is sure in for a surprise considering how much they are going to pay him, Gurarararara'

He stood there as he grinned and laughed.

He then decided to focus on what was on hand.

The whole gate laid in his view, and he was going to wreak havoc to his heart's content this time.

This was the comeback of Whitebeard.
