A Special Invitation

The elite group consisting of Gintoki, Kagura, Shinpachi, Katsura Kotaro, Sakamoto Tatsuma, and a bunch of police officers headed towards the abandoned building.

Their march was attention-grabbing and couldn't be concealed. The news was broadcast on TV and radio, highlighting the rescue team's prominent actions.

When they arrived at the building, the atmosphere was tense. Gintoki took the lead, his wooden sword resting on his shoulder, while Katsura, always the strategist, pointed out different possible entry points.

"Let's split into two groups," suggested Katsura. "Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi, take the main entrance. Sakamoto, you and me will go around the back. The police, can cover any possible escape routes."

Gintoki stretched and yawned. "Can't we just break down the door and get this over with quickly?"

"For once, I agree with Gintoki," Sakamoto said, laughing. "Let's make this exciting."

The group split up, and Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi approached the main entrance. The door was padlocked, but Kagura smashed it open with a punch without breaking a sweat.

"Well, that was easy," commented Shinpachi. "Too easy."

As soon as they entered, the floor beneath them gave way, and they slid down a hidden chute into a dark room. As they stood up and brushed off the dust, a series of neon lights flickered on, revealing a dance floor with blaring disco music.

"Seriously?" Gintoki sighed. "A disco trap?"

A bunch of mannequins dressed in shiny suits approached, moving to the beat of the music. Kagura laughed and started dancing with one of them, while Gintoki and Shinpachi tried to find an exit. Finally, Shinpachi noticed a hidden door behind a giant disco ball.

"Over here!" he shouted, pointing.

The festive atmosphere changed when Kagura was grabbed and held hostage by one of the dancing mannequins.

The fight to the exit turned into a battle between the three of them and the dancing robots.

Meanwhile, Katsura and Sakamoto faced their own set of challenges at the back of the building. After forcing a window open, they found themselves in a hallway filled with laser traps, reminiscent of a spy movie.

"This looks fun," Sakamoto said, diving in and dodging the lasers with surprising grace.

"Since when are you so agile?" asked Katsura, trying not to set off the traps.

"I trained watching action movies," Sakamoto replied with a grin. "Just follow my lead!"

They both managed to cross the hallway without incident and found themselves in a room full of cabinets. Suddenly, one of the cabinets opened, and a group of toy soldiers emerged, firing tiny rubber bullets.

"This is ridiculous!" exclaimed Katsura, using his sword to deflect the bullets while Sakamoto laughed heartily and took down the soldiers with flying kicks.

Finally, after overcoming the traps, both groups reunited in a corridor leading to the main room where Rick was holding Hijikata and the others. The tension was palpable as they approached the door.

"Alright, guys," Gintoki said, bracing himself. "It's time to end this."

Kagura readied her umbrella, Shinpachi adjusted his glasses, Katsura and Sakamoto drew their weapons, and the police took strategic positions.

With a strong push, Gintoki opened the door, and the group entered the room, ready to face Rick and rescue Hijikata and the others.

The room was filled with strange equipment, and Rick stood in the center with a malicious smile. Hijikata and the other captives were tied to chairs behind him.

"Finally, the heroes have arrived!" Rick said sarcastically. "Ready for the final battle?"

Gintoki advanced, his wooden sword gleaming under the fluorescent lights. "We're going to kick some alien butt," he said with a grin. "And then, we're going home."

'Urg... Is that what I hear, the typical protagonist cliché phrase? How exciting!' Rick stood there, looking absent-minded, reflecting on how rarely he had heard such phrases in recent years. Though he had never lacked opponents who put themselves on a moral pedestal.

Gintoki twirled his wooden sword and advanced towards Rick with a mocking smile. "Well, if you want excitement, we'll give it to you. But don't complain when it hurts."

Kagura, with her umbrella in hand, and Shinpachi, with his bamboo sword, positioned themselves on either side of Gintoki. Katsura and Sakamoto stood behind, ready to support or attack.

Rick adopted a combat stance, bending his knees and raising his fists. "Alright then, let's see what you're made of."

Without warning, Kagura launched an attack, spinning her umbrella like a whirlwind. Rick deftly dodged the blows and, with a quick move, grabbed Kagura's umbrella and threw her against a wall. She got up immediately, unfazed.

"That was a good move!" Kagura exclaimed with a wild smile.

Gintoki took advantage of the distraction and lunged at Rick with a series of rapid strikes with his wooden sword. Rick blocked each one with his arms, his movements precise and calculated. Then, with a spinning kick, he knocked Gintoki down.

Shinpachi tried to attack from a different angle, but Rick grabbed his bamboo sword and used it to smack him on the head. "You need to improve your technique, kid," Rick taunted.

Katsura and Sakamoto decided to change their strategy. While the others kept Rick busy, they snuck towards the hostages. Katsura cut the ropes binding Hijikata, while Sakamoto freed the other workers.

"Thanks," Hijikata muttered, grabbing a sword from a nearby guard. "It's time to strike back."

Gintoki, recovered from the hit, got up and smiled, seeing Hijikata join the fight. "Ah, just in time, Hijikata. Let's teach this guy a lesson."

Noticing the hostages being freed, Rick hurled an energy sphere towards Katsura and Sakamoto. Katsura deflected it with his sword, but the resulting explosion knocked them both to the ground.

"Not so fast," Rick said, advancing towards them. "This isn't over yet."

"No way! Is that a ki blast? Be careful guys, he might have a Kamehameha!" Gintoki said, his face pale with fear.

Hijikata stepped in, his sword held high. "You and I have unfinished business," he said coldly.

Rick smiled and lunged forward, his fists enveloped in energy. The battle between Hijikata and Rick was fast and brutal, with both fighters exchanging blows at lightning speed. Rick's martial skills were impressive, and he seemed to have the upper hand.

"Seriously, for swordsmen with hardly any energy channelling, their auras are scary. It's like the Yakuza!" Rick played with his opponents, changing weapons whenever he could using Ki materialization.

Kagura seized a moment of distraction and attacked Rick from behind, wrapping him with her superhuman strength. Rick tossed her through the air, but this gave Gintoki time to prepare a combined attack.

"Shinpachi, now!" Gintoki shouted. Shinpachi, his glasses reflecting the light, lunged forward with a double-sword technique, forcing Rick to step back.

"They're doing a combo!" Rick, surprised by the sudden offensive, began channelling his Ki, creating an energy barrier around him. "Do you really think you can beat me with such cheap tricks?" he taunted.

Not wanting to let the opponent complete any combo, in games, the combo can decide the victory.

Gintoki and the others regrouped, breathing heavily. "Maybe not with tricks," Gintoki said, "but definitely with teamwork."

'That's another cliché phrase!' Rick thought.

With a war cry, the group launched another attack. This time, Hijikata led the charge, his sword shining brightly. Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi followed, each coordinating their movements to destabilize Rick.

Despite Rick's power, he began to falter under the relentless combined attack. Every time he blocked a strike, another hit him from a different angle. Finally, Katsura and Sakamoto joined the assault, completing the circle of attacks.

In a final effort, Gintoki channelled all his energy into one last blow with his wooden sword, breaking Rick's Ki barrier and sending him flying against a wall.

"Nooooo≈... they defeated me!" Rick struggled to his feet, clearly exhausted. "Not bad," he admitted. "If it wasn't for the fact that you didn't really hurt me! Watch this! What I've prepared in the last few hours!" With that said, Rick pulled out a remote from his indestructible lab coat with a single red button in the centre. Naturally, he pressed it.

Everyone reacted quickly, assuming it was a bomb, and threw themselves to the ground or took cover.

Rick looked at the rescue team members, all bracing for the worst, while a trumpet played in the background and confetti spewed from the walls. He sighed and raised his hands in surrender. "I must admit, it was a fun fight."

"What?" Gintoki couldn't believe his eyes. Banners hung from the ceiling, transmitting a positive message directed at them.
