-Kai: "I will miss you so much."
-Alex: "Me too buddy, Go outside and enjoy your freedom."
-Kai: "keep in touch."
Kai hugged Alex for a while then took his bag and left the cell with the security agents.
When he went outside he found Matthew waiting for him, he approached and hugged him tightly, Matthew then helped Kai with the bag and opened the car's door for him.

-Kai: "Charlie didn't come with you..?"
-Matthew: "no, he was not in the country so he couldn't make it in time.. but he'll come to see you later."
-Kai: "I respect that man so much.. I wanna thank him."
-Matthew: "you know he hates staying in one place.. when I ask him why he goes "life is too short to spend it in one place" blah blah some dramatical speech that I'm sure he heard in a movie.. He's fucking annoying man."
Kai laughed loudly then asked
-Kai: "how's everyone doing?"
-Matthew: "they're okay and missing you."
-Kai: "I miss them all too, I can't wait to see them again."
Kai was so happy and excited that he couldn't even hide it, a wide smile grew across his face and his eyes were innocently sparkling.
Matthew looked at him with a smile on his face as well
-Matthew: "why didn't you shave Kai? Do you wanna stop by a salon?"
-Kai: "no no I didn't shave on purpose, I want Daniel to see that I grew a beard. Did he grew one? I doubt it."
-Matthew: "you're right, he didn't."
-Kai: "what about Anya?"
-Matthew: "you're asking me if she grew a beard?"
-Kai: "yes."
-Matthew: "yea she grew one waiting for you."
-Kai: "you didn't tell them that the duration of my punishment has diminished to 7 years thanks to my good behavior, right?"
-Matthew: "I didn't, do I look like a surprises spoiler?"

Matthew and Kai stopped at a men's clothing store to get a new change for Kai.
Matthew chose an elegant suit for Kai and made him wear it,
And when they headed to pay for it, Kai saw the worker holding a book that caught his attention.
-Kai: "..hey buddy, can you give me that book for a sec?"
"Sure!"
Kai took the book from him and kept staring at it for a moment not believing his eyes,
-Kai: "isn't this Danny in the cover?"
He looked at Matthew waiting for an explanation
-Matthew: "yea.. that's him, Daniel."
Kai read the book's title "An angel on earth" then looked at Matthew and said
-Kai: "this is.."
-Matthew: "it's about you.."
"Oh my god what!!? You know Daniel Lynx? He's a very big author! Can you tell him that I'm his biggest fan? I love all of his reflections and novels!"
-Kai: "i- I will tell him.."
The worker tried to take the book back but Kai's grip on it was tight and firm, his eyes watered a bit as he refused to let go of the book
-Kai: "Can I keep it?- plea- please?"
-Matthew: "Kai, Daniel keeps some copies at home."
-Kai: "he does-?"
Matthew nodded as he took the book from him and gave it to the worker.
They then continued their trip, and after hours of traveling they finally got to their town.
Kai noticed that Matthew wasn't taking the way to Daniel's house what got him wondering about where he was taking him.
-Kai: "where are we going? Take me to Daniel's first."
-Matthew: "they all are living together anyway."
-Kai: "what do you mean?"

Matthew dropped Kai at a huge mansion and told him to go in on his own and that he would join them for dinner later.
Kai hesitantly pushed the gate open and went in.
once he did so he saw Anya watering the flowers, she was backfacing him but he was still able to recognize her, she grew her hair longer and got a bit shorter..
in a loss of words and with slow steps, Kai approached her.
When she felt someone standing behind her, she quickly turned around
-Anya: "hu- huh?"
She rubbed her eyes softly as she thought she was hallucinating
"No no no!"
She pinched her cheeks but what she thought of as an illusion of Kai was still standing there,
She then started checking him out from head to toe and said
"Kai!? You're safe! You- you look so healthy.."
She hugged him tightly as she continued while crying
"My.. my baby!! I missed you so much"
Kai hugged her back firmly with tears in his eyes he said
-Kai: "I missed you too, I can't believe I'm finally back."
She pulled away slowly and grabbed his hand
-Anya: "come in to your house!"
She took him to the living room and made him have a seat
-Kai: "where's Daniel?"
-Anya: "he's at work, he works as a teacher in hope's peak academy. He invested the old shop's money to start his career as an author and once he made a name he gave it up to uncle Richard."
-Kai: "what about the old house?"
-Anya: "he refused to sell it."
Anya told Kai about everything they've been through, how hopeful Daniel was and how he fought his urge to give up just to achieve this comfort life they have today and how he took good care of her and Kai's mother.
And Kai did the same, he told her about how he spent his years in jail and about his friend Alex.
-Kai: "Matthew told me that you all are living together but I can't see mom."
-Anya: "she's out for a moment, she'll be back in no time."
A few moments later, shiley got back home.
She went to the living room when she heard Anya's voice coming from there
-Shiley: "Anya, Mina is tired of school and must be hungry can you make-"
She entered the room to see her son sitting in there, she stood at the door for a while with her eyes wide open
-Kai: "MOM!"
he ran to her and hugged her, Shiley wrapped her arms around him slowly and was speechless
"I missed you so much"
She then pulled away and held his face while she said
-Shiley: "you.. you grew up.."
In these moments, Daniel's daughter entered the room as well and shouted
-Mina: "DADDYYYY KAAAAAAI!"
Kai went down to her and carried her
-Kai: "who's this cutie? And how does she know me?"
-Anya: "Daniel doesn't shut up about you that she started missing you too."
-Mina: "but he looks so different in the pictures mommy."
-Anya: "those are old mina, he was 19, he's 26 now."
Mina asked Kai to put her down because she wanted to go get him some cookies, and once he did so she left to the kitchen with shiley.

-Kai: "she called you mommy..?"
He asked confusingly
-Anya: "because she's my daughter."
-Kai: "oh! And who's the father?"
-Anya: "Daniel."
-Kai: "..oh.. ummh.. did you get married? I mean.. I know I didn't tell you about what I was up to and you suddenly found yourself alone.. it's okay, I won't think of it as a betrayal, you must've been so lonely and you guys only had each other and love just happens you know..! I'm- I'm not mad.."
-Anya: "huh? Are you serious?"
She cracked up laughing as she continued
"I've been waiting for you this entire time only for you to think that I may possibly marry Daniel!? Kai!! Look at your face Ahahahahhah.."
-Kai: "waiting..? You mean.. you're still into me?"
-Anya: "yes dumbass, Mina is Daniel's daughter by adoption and she calls me mommy because well.. I'm her mother, I raised her."
Kai took her between his arms and tightened his grip on her almost causing her bones to crack
-Kai: "I love you so much, thank you."

She then took him in a tour around the mansion and he loved everything about it..
The pool in the backyard, the tea-time table surrounded by trees and flowers, the huge balconies and the big well-decorated rooms.

-Anya: "and this is your room.. A big TV screen, video games, a fridge, a huge soft bed and most importantly.. those motorized curtains, When you're sleeping and the sun rises up disturbing your sleep you can just use this remote to close them."
-Kai: "wow, Daniel really knows me."
He jumped on the bed and hugged one of the pillows
-Anya: "I asked him to allow me to use this room since you and I will be using the same room once we're married anyway but he never let me!"
-Kai: "well, I'll let you use it now if you let me use you." He smirked
-Anya: "shut up."
-Kai: "I really can't wait to see him."
-Anya: "Kai.."
-Kai: "yes?"
-Anya: "have you ever wondered.. what did Daniel need more back then?"
-Kai: "what do you mean?"
-Anya: "do you think he needed revenge or needed you?"
-Kai: "..huh?"
Kai froze there in a loss of words feeling like someone has just given him a slap to the face.
-Anya: "I want to ask another question.."
-Kai: "y-yes?"
-Anya: "you killed Jay and sezar for raping Mina right?"
-Kai: "yes.."
-Anya: "but in the Forensic medicine back then, there was 3 DNAs found in her body.
Who was the third guy? Daniel and I had our doubts but we kept denying them.."
-Kai: "it was the motherfucker who lied in the court to save his ass."
-Anya: "you mean Rony? I told Daniel but he refused to believe it.."
-Kai: "that's his problem, he trusts people way too much.. but I can see why, Rony doesn't look like the type that's why it's hard to believe that he was involved and he was actually forced to do it."
-Anya: "... I see."
-Kai: "anyway.. I might fuck you tonight."
-Anya: "e-eeeeh!!? You can't just say that out of the blue and to my face!!!"
Her face turned all red as she was caught off guard and surprised by Kai's sudden eagerness
-Kai: "what? You want me to say it to your ass?"
He then got up and started walking towards her while she was taking steps back
-Anya: "hey! Stay away from me!"
-Kai: "turn around let me have a talk with that ass!"

*In the kitchen*
-Mina: "Nanny, why're you making all this and by yourself?"
-Shiley: "Kai is finally back Mina! We will make a feast."

At 5 pm, Daniel finished his work and was going back home. But before that, he stopped at the cemetery as this became an important part of his daily life.
He put some flowers on mina's grave and recited some prayers
-Daniel: "Mina.. I'm missing you today more than ever.. Achieving all this and getting my house full of dear people is lacking something without you.. Without your love, without your support, without your presence..
Everything feels the same, everyone feels the same except for me.. I'm hollow.. you just left me behind making excuses to hold on to life, lying to myself..
I miss Kai too, but I believe that one day he'll come back and that day is getting closer so I'm doing my best to be patient.. but you.. I lost you forever..
if you ever met my mother, would you please tell her that you were her son's wife?
She'd be so happy, she never knew that I'd grew up to have such a great taste in women..."
He lied his head down on the grave and gasped deeply as if he was trying to get rid of the weight on his shoulders then continued
"You died once, but I'm dying everyday since.."

Like every other day, Daniel talked to mina and cried to her as if she could hear him and after feeling a little bit better he drove back home.
Once he got there, Mina ran to hug him as he carried her
-Mina: "Papa! Daddy Kai is home!"
-Daniel: "yea right, you know who else is home? Your zombie papa who's dead tired, enough with your jokes."
In these moments Kai and Anya walked down the stairs,
Daniel was carrying Mina at the principal door that is opposite the stairs.
Once he heard footsteps, Daniel looked up and couldn't believe his eyes.
He put mina down as he stood in place
-Daniel: "K-Kai.."
-Kai: "Danny.."

The two brothers who had to stay apart for 7 years due to life surprises and difficulties got finally reunited.. they ran and hugged each other intensely, tears of joy yet of pain have been mixed in that moment
-Daniel: "I missed you Kai!! I missed you so much that it killed me.."
-Kai: "and I.."
He pulled away and held Daniel's face between his hands and started caressing it and wiping away his tears while Daniel had his hands grabbing Kai's wrists as Kai continued
"I was imprisoned but your memories.. your love was keeping me alive and free.."
Daniel laughed slightly,
-Daniel: "I'll quote this in my next book.."
-Kai: "long as you give me credits."
-Daniel: "I'll think about it."
-Kai: "haha! You keep on being the prince you are huh?"
