Chapter 44: Black Star joins the Battle

[Yuki POV]

As All Might leaped from the ship and confronted Aokiji, a surge of surprise rippled through Yuki's thoughts. 'Well, this is quite the twist,' he mused silently. While he had intended for All Might to face an admiral, the unexpected immediacy of the encounter took him off guard.

With keen observation, Yuki assessed the unfolding battle. He couldn't help but note, 'All Might is clearly at a disadvantage.' Internally, he commented on the hero's precarious situation as he watched the intense clash from the deck of Whitebeard's ship, all the while maintaining the raging thunderstorm.

"AAAAAGHHH" Then, a sudden scream shattered the battlefield's tension. Yuki's attention shifted as a marine battleship tumbled from the sky, capsizing as it plummeted. Upon closer examination, Yuki spotted individuals in prisoner uniforms onboard the falling vessel.

'Well, it's already time,' Yuki mused internally, his mind working through the imminent decisions he needed to make. From a purely logical perspective, he had two paramount objectives in this chaotic war. First and foremost, he had to eliminate the reincarnator, and second, he had to ensure the safety of the child of destiny, the one known as Luffy. The successful fulfillment of these missions was critical not just for him but for the entire chat group, offering them a way back to their own world.

Yet, on a more personal note, Yuki harbored another, more self-centered goal. He was eager to push his newfound strength to its limits. In his own world, achieving such a feat was an impossibility, thanks to the lower level of power compared to this one. This stark contrast was evident in the ongoing battle where All Might struggled against a single admiral, leaving him with little hope of victory.

A moment later, Crocodile sprung into action, leaping towards Whitebeard with every intention to strike, mirroring the events of the anime. But before Crocodile's attack could land, Luffy swiftly interceded, leaping into the fray and halting Crocodile's advance with a powerful kick. His feet, bearing a few drops of water, had the power to make contact with the elusive Logia user.

"Are you here to save your brother?" Whitebeard inquired, seeking confirmation from Luffy.

Luffy nodded solemnly, his determination evident in his eyes.

"I hope you understand who you're up against," Whitebeard cautioned, his words mirroring the anime almost exactly. "You simply will be throwing your life away."

"Shut up! It's not your job to decide that! I've heard you want to be Pirate King. Well, the one who's gonna be Pirate King is me!" Luffy's voice rang out, brimming with an unwavering conviction that left no room for further questions.

'As idiotic as ever... Why must you be so troublesome?' Yuki's thoughts raced as he observed the exchange. He couldn't help but wonder if Luffy's impulsive nature might jeopardize their mission. 'Can't you behave or, better yet, not be the child of destiny?'

He couldn't help but contemplate how much easier this war would be without the burden of protecting such a reckless individual. Yet, he remained equally determined to fulfill the mission of the chat group, yearning for the prospect of returning home and enjoying a well-deserved break, or rather, a return to school.

Luffy then relayed to Whitebeard the information about the Marines' plan to execute Ace ahead of schedule. To Yuki, it was evident that any person with a functioning brain could have figured out as much. The reason they still had not executed Ace was clear in his mind, it allowed them to weaken Whitebeard, preventing him from using his full power after losing his son.

The Strawhat captain, however, seemed to notice Yuki's presence next to Whitebeard, and a confused expression crossed his face. "You look somewhat familiar, have we met before?" he asked. It didn't take long for Luffy to recall their previous encounter. "You're the guy who refused to join my crew!" he declared.

'You know what, I can no longer endure this idiocy for fear of getting infected,' Yuki thought to himself, his patience wearing thin. With a sigh and a hint of frustration, he delivered a gentle kick that sent Luffy flying off the ship.

Yuki then turned his attention to the battlefield, his keen eyes scanning the chaos unfolding before him. He observed the various intense battles that had erupted across Marineford, each one a testament to the fierce determination of those involved.

His gaze shifted towards his fellow group members and the Whitebeard Pirates. First, he spotted Marco and Kizaru locked in a relentless duel, neither side gaining a clear advantage over the other. It was a clash of power and speed, and Yuki couldn't help but wonder how it would eventually play out.

Next, his attention drifted towards Aizen, who stood on a platform beneath the execution stage, blending into the background as if he were invisible. It seemed that not a single soul had noticed his presence, and Yuki couldn't help but marvel at the man's ability to remain unnoticed in the midst of the chaos.

A moment later, his eyes landed on Fang Yuan, still engaged in combat with a group of pirates. Yuki couldn't help but question Fang Yuan's motives. 'What exactly does he plan?' Yuki wondered aloud in his thoughts. While he had given up trying to decipher Aizen's intentions, he remained curious about Fang Yuan's role in the unfolding events.

Yuki's sharp gaze swept across the tumultuous battlefield once more, his mind working in overdrive. His keen perception quickly noticed that Klein was conspicuously absent from the chaos.

'Where is he? Who has he transformed into?' Yuki mused, a sense of unease creeping over him. He mistakenly assumed that Klein had already infiltrated the ranks of pirates or marines in disguise, his clever tactics working in the shadows. It had never occurred to him that Klein might not have even arrived at the battlefield yet.

Turning his gaze towards All Might, Yuki couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy. "As expected, he lost," he thought, a mixture of admiration and pity for the Symbol of Peace. Despite unleashing his full might and pushing his limits, All Might had succumbed to the power of Aokiji. Yuki couldn't help but acknowledge that, at this moment, All Might stood as the weakest among their group.

Yuki glanced at Black Star, his thoughts racing as he formulated a plan of action. "Black Star, help out All Might for a bit and then do me a favor and protect Luffy, fulfilling one of our mission's completion conditions," he instructed, his voice steady and resolute.

Anticipating some resistance, Yuki steeled himself for a potential argument, ready to explain his reasons for delegating the task. However, to his surprise, Black Star didn't hesitate for a moment. He immediately accepted the request, his readiness catching Yuki off guard.

"Hmm, did his system trigger a mission upon receiving my request? Well, I'll inquire about it later," Yuki pondered, his thoughts already racing ahead to the next steps in their intricate plan.

'Next, I should probably get Ivankov to administer a hormone injection to All Might, I don't want to deal with an unconscious dead weight,' Yuki argued with himself, his mind swiftly calculating the best course of action.

As he scanned the chaotic battlefield for any sign of the revolutionary, Yuki's thoughts raced. 'Ivankov, where are you?' he muttered inwardly, his determination unwavering. Moments later, he spotted Ivankov amidst the turmoil, and with a focused gaze, he teleported to the revolutionary's location.

With no concern for first impressions, Yuki seized Ivankov and executed another rapid teleportation, this time reappearing next to All Might. He didn't waste a moment on greetings or explanations, instead, he made his request bluntly. "Can you give him some hormones to get him moving?"

Ivankov was initially bewildered by the sudden turn of events, unsure of the man who had appeared out of nowhere. But as the seconds ticked by, a chilling realization washed over him, the stranger beside him was a force to be reckoned with, someone who could snuff out his life in an instant if he wished. It was a sobering thought that sent shivers down Ivankov's spine.

Simultaneously, he recognized the person Yuki had asked him to help. It was the same individual he had witnessed battling against Aokiji moments before.

"Emporio Tension Hormone," Ivankov uttered, his fingers morphing into syringe-like needles. With precise skill, he administered the adrenaline-boosting hormones into All Might. These hormones would relieve tension and enhance mobility for an entire day, a much-needed boost for the weary hero. However, they came with a price, they induced nausea and fatigue once their effects wore off.

[Black Star POV]

Black Star hesitated for a moment when Yuki's request reached his ears. His initial instinct was to refuse, as he felt that he had his own battles to fight. However, a sudden revelation made him reconsider. A System Window materialized before him, and its contents grabbed his attention.

Black Star's decision was swift, as he accepted the mission and leaped off the Moby Dick, his determination evident in his every movement. His resolve was unyielding, driven by the prospect of battling Admiral Aokiji.

Having dedicated an entire year to the study of Devil Fruits, Black Star had amassed invaluable knowledge about how to combat users of these powers. Logia Fruit users, who appeared nearly invulnerable without the use of Haki, were not an insurmountable challenge for him. With his ingenuity, Black Star had devised an alternative method to harm them. He understood that by coating himself or his mechanical creations with mechanical force, he could bypass the Logia intangibility.

Black Star, encased in his formidable Berserk Ape Mechanical Suit, was ready to unleash his enhanced combat power. He initiated the deployment of a vast army of mechanical soldiers, emerging from his space compression devices. The battlefield soon became a chaotic scene as these mechanical warriors flooded the area.

With mechanical precision, they surged forward, overwhelming the sheer numbers of even the 100,000-strong marine force. Each of these mechanical soldiers possessed formidable strength in their own right, making them a force to be reckoned with.

Black Star wasn't done yet. He harnessed his Mechanical Force to further augment their capabilities. This enhancement allowed them to bypass the intangibility of Logia Fruit users, inflicting real damage on these seemingly invulnerable foes.

While the more formidable opponents like Rear Admirals, Vice Admirals, and the Shichibukai managed to hold their own against this relentless mechanical onslaught, those beneath them found themselves hopelessly outmatched. The battlefield was rapidly tilting in favor of Black Star and his mechanical army.

The mechanical soldiers swarmed relentlessly around the more formidable opponents, presenting a daunting challenge for even the most skilled fighters. Sometimes, tens or even hundreds of them converged upon a single opponent, engaging in relentless combat. Even if one of these mechanical warriors was destroyed, another would instantly take its place, maintaining the relentless pressure.

What made this mechanical army particularly formidable was their lack of human limitations. They didn't experience fear or exhaustion like human combatants did. In contrast, the higher-ranking marines, despite their formidable skills, were slowly but surely succumbing to fatigue. There were exceptions, of course, like Akainu, who appeared to possess inexhaustible stamina, but they were a rare minority.

At the very forefront of the resistance, Akainu stood unwavering. With each mighty swipe of his magma-infused fists, he eliminated hundreds of these mechanical soldiers. He showed no concern for his subordinates who occasionally found themselves in harm's way and perished in the fiery onslaught.

Despite the fact that Akainu had obliterated numerous mechanical soldiers, the marines still found themselves overwhelmed. The sheer number of these relentless automatons was daunting, and to make matters worse, Black Star possessed the ability to repair and rejuvenate the destroyed ones at will using his Waste Modification Skill.

Meanwhile, Black Star plunged headlong into a one-on-one confrontation with Aokiji, and the outcome was nothing short of a foregone conclusion. Even though Aokiji possessed the power to threaten entire countries, such a feat posed no significant challenge to Black Star.

In the world from which Black Star hailed, most A Grade Super were already deemed more potent than any of these admirals. These individuals were known to possess the capability to profoundly reshape the very landscape of a planet. As for those classified as Above A Grade Supers, such as Black Star himself, their abilities were on an entirely different level. Just a few months ago, Black Star had battled an individual known for obliterating planets by simply jumping into them with his body, and Black Star had emerged victorious.

With Black Star's entrance into the battle, the situation on the battlefield underwent a dramatic transformation. What had initially been a scenario where the marines seemed to be gaining the upper hand was instantaneously inverted, plunging them into a dire and seemingly hopeless predicament.

Ultimately, Black Star's victory over Aokiji unfolded effortlessly. In response to this, figures of immense combat prowess such as Sengoku and Garp, along with other top-tier forces, made the decision to actively engage in the fray. This sudden shift escalated the conflict from a war primarily focused on Whitebeard into an all-encompassing battle where the marines' very survival hung in the balance.
