2. the morning after

I wake up with my heart pounding like crazy. After taking a look around i realised that last night indeed wasn't just a nightmare...or am i still dreaming?

A big window that leads to a balcony, a big bed with extra soft sheets and the classic furniture...

This was the same room as last night.

I glance over where Scarlet was standing last night. I never thought she could show that many emotions at once. I guess its not rational to expect her to not explode like that someday.

I was too shocked to even ask her any questions and she was definitely too angry to answer them all.

But what did she mean by "fix it"...?

Does she mean i should rewrite her story? But i don't have my laptop here. Where is this place anyway?

I feel dizzy as i stand up. I lean my hand on the wall behind the bed, holding my head with the other hand.

When did my hair get so long and soft?

Thats when i saw it... there was a reflection of that woman in the mirror right in front of me.

How did she do this...? No this isn't what i should be worrying about right now!

Scarlet Velverosa was the mother of my male lead in one of the stories and I had just finished her side story last night.

Her tragic life had made her a cruel and war-crazed monarch.

After taking her revenge though... It was all down fall from there...

She found life as meaningless with no one to fight with.

Crushing her enemies one by one didn't give her the satisfaction she was looking for anymore and it didn't take long for others to back off as soon as she wanted something.

No one wanted her as an enemy so everyone just tip toed their way around her.

Out of everyone Daniel, her son specially had to walk on thin ice. His every move could easily enrage her.

Her frustration soon turned to destructive and abusive behaviours and the sleepless nights led her to sleeping pills and alcohol.

Getting addicted to alcohol and then trying different kinds of drugs, she overdosed when Daniel was 7...

I need to find out how old she is...

This is definitely not the body of a 15 year old, so she has already killed her family.

Rather it seems to be in her 20ies, not that she got to her 30ies anyways...

There don't seem to be a war going on since she would be first in line in each battle either.

I touch my belly.

Probably not pregnant.

Is this after or before her overdose?
