Villain Eternal: I Shall Conquer The Heavens!

“Wretched abomination of darkness! For going against the will of heaven, the Hero Association shall chase your aberrant self until your death!” He scoffed. "Who is going to hunt me down? Your dead gods or your pathetic selves?" —— By stumbling upon the forbidden realms and his learning of secrets he wasn't meant to know, his mortality was robbed off him and he was cursed with what mortals would regard as “Eternal Life”. He could no longer age, or be killed by mortals. With his power, Mylos swore to tear down the heavens as he built up his Hell from the ashes of the angles. His heart burnes with a frenzied flames as he swore to wipe the walls of his castle with the blood of the enemies. “Divine Tribulations?” Conquered. “Heavenly Retribution?” Defied. —— “Worthless aberration of chaos! Your life must end here, and your blood would be used to wash the cornerstones of this mountain! Now, lie and accept your fate!" They were terrified, quaking in their boots in fear as he stared upon them. He was a monster, some abominable creature that crawled it's way out of the pit of hell. Undying, unrelenting — The god-like monster grinned in the face of their heaviest weapons. It's eyes gleamed at the sight of their heavily armed Heroes and Legends. He was what they believed to be “The Devil”.

Karen passed a book to Mylos. Bouncing around him in the mountain of books she'd built in her room which was just as massive as the one Mylos booked in the past, just that it was crowded with bookshelves and toys.

 "Grim Reaper…"

She frowned, skimmed through a book then placed it in the slot she'd dragged it out of. After returning the book to it's slot, she dashed towards another shelf, burying her face into the books without lifting her head once.

"Hmm, makes sense. Well, makes sense enough for the kind of world we were born into. There was also chances he didn't actually do this, but who cares? It is coolest for the kind of monster created, it's quite interesting!"

Mylos just stood speechless. He had explained to Karen what happened as simply as he could to avoid anything confusing for the little girl. If only he knew that after he explained to her, he'd be the one thrown into confusion.

"From what I understand, you must have some ability in you that aided in reviving something as broken as Alissa with just physical contact. The fact that she is an undead soldier with some memories and a complicated train of thought is a spectacle beyond all I've ever read!"

Karen adjusted the glasses on her nose, a blinding light flashing through them,

"Although you wouldn't be able to do that with normal dead bodies, there are some requirements you are not to ignore if you want to replicate what you did. If done properly, then end product might be equal to or more superior than what you achieved with Alissa."

Requirements? Hmm, of course they are requirements a caster needed to meet before a reaction occurs. If Mylos guessed correctly, then there was the chance he had one of the requirements to complete Alissa with him.

"Alissa, do you know the requirements?" Mylos turned to Alissa whom he'd ordered to sit on the small bed by the corner and read a few books. He had tested it with Aysla and knew that Alissa was capable of speech.

"I…" Alissa stared at Mylos, getting herself seemingly lost in her own thoughts. After a few seconds trying her best in arranging her thoughts, she finally voiced out all that she'd been thinking about,

"I don't know all the requirements. There were strange fluids in beakers, numerous magic circles, lots of bodies stored in coolers." Allissa tilted her head, "They had all of us for the experiment chained to the wall."

"That's all? Magic circles, unknown incredients and a lot of bodies? I would also have to make direct contact with the unfinished product before it's completed." With the gleam in his eyes unshielded, Mylos frowned.

Mylos held up his hand to his face. He needed to know what actually was the key he held in his hands, was there some way he transferred 'mana' from his body to that of Alissa through that touch? Was mana an ingredient?

"Alissa, stand up." Mylos glanced around, his narrowed gaze settling upon a book and pen by the corner. Mylos walked up to them, grabbing both and walking back to Alissa, "Take these. I want you to draw what you saw."

Alissa nodded mechanically, accepting the items as she maintained an expressionless face. After some seconds of pause, she sat herself on the bed and began to draw away on a page of the book with a focused gaze.

When she was done, Mylos collected the book and pen from her and began to examine them. After seeing what she had drawn to be the magic circle for himself, a rough idea of how it would be possible for him to replicate and activate it formed in his mind.

"With this power, we can tear the church down. If I can harness the ability to turn the dead into monsters under my control — I would finally gain a hand in numbers!" A cold going flashed past Mylos's gaze, causing the slight smile on his face to grow into a wicked grin,

"They'll come here soon. They'll come looking for their golden success, and might bring her along. I'll wait here for a while, to kill every single one of them until I finally attain this skill."

The concept of building a loyal army from the bones of those beneath him, it was entrancing. There was nothing he could do to combat this feeling in his heart, a feeling of finally having the opportunity to get stronger!

Mylos struggled to control his demonic aura, unable to contain his excitement. After a few seconds of chuckling to himself, he wiped the grin from his face then turns to face Karen who was staring at him strangely.

"Analyse the drawing. Maybe you would be able to get something substantial from looking at it yourself." With his brows knitted, Mylos forced a blank expression as he spoke with Karen, "Also, try breaking it down further."

"Okay, uncle!" Karen accepted the book from Mylos a heartbeat later. As soon as she received the book, Karen dashed to Alissa's side, dropping into the bed with her face buried into the book, "You can talk with Alissa."

Mylos stared at Karen. If what he was into was the gem he had been searching for, then he believed the human youngling would be very useful to him. Kidnap her from her parents? Would he be able to do that?

He believed he should take advantage of his inability to die more frequently. If he can't get cancelled, why would he let the dead of getting cancelled dominate his mind anymore! If not, he would suffer unnecessarily.

Alissa watched Mylos silently. Of course, she would not speak unless he ordered her to speak. She hoped he did not have any interest in speaking with her since she had still not gotten herself accustomed to everything.

"Hey Alissa. I want you to read me these books while I practice my mana manipulation skills." Mylos bowed his head in thought for a second, "If you do well with that, I can let you feel my chaos energy. Hmm, that's enough."

"I deduce that my energy must affect you somewhat. It is up to my experimentations to know whether the effect is helpful or harming to either of you. Whether small or great, I believe any improvement would be welcome."

Mylos shoved a few books into her hands,

"Well, you can speak now. You can either agree to what I propose or disagree with the proposal. You can request a change of reward if you want too, maybe anything you want me to do for you?"

Alissa was speechless for a second. After a few seconds of silence, she forced a wry smile then parted her lips to speak in a soft voice, "You want me to read for you? My voice isn't that—"

"It's perfect. I didn't ask you to sing for me. My voice is worse than yours, but I read to myself without feeling an iota of shame." Mylos assured her with a smile, giving her a friendly pat on her shoulders.

"Perfect?" Alissa was sure her voice sounded similar to the cry of a pregnant crane being stuffed into a heated flame. It got worse after her death, although it was not the reason she didn't speak often — it was a valid point.

"It's meh, but good enough to listen to without ducking into a microwave." Mylos led her to the side, sitting her down on a chair and opening one of the books for her, "Just read without minding anything else. It's an order."

 "O–Okay."
