Chapter 112 | Apokolips, Sphere of the Gods

APOKOLIPS.

This was the planet of residence for the Evil God Darkseid.

Well, it was on a different plane of existence that was higher than the Earth.

Sphere of the Gods was an archetypal place where most of the platonic concepts of power could be found and that included the so-called gods, demons, and, immortals.

If you like Greek Mythology then just find a way to access this fourth-dimensional place and you would get the chance to spank some asses of Greek Goddess.

But be careful since you might touch the Queen of Olympian Gods by accident and that... was not recommendable per se.

Because of... ZAP!

You would just incur the wrath of the whole Greek Pantheon.

Anyway, the Sphere of the Gods didn't only house the Gods of Olympus but also the Gods of Hindu like Lord Shiva, the most commonly known god of destruction, the Norse Gods, Hell, Heaven, and, many others.

These conceptual gods, demons, and, immortals were mainly shaped by the beliefs of humanity and their lore.

Darkseid was a new god who truly disdained the old gods since he didn't like their uppity.

Noah doubted even if Darkseid was a god of evil or such nonsense.

Compared to Trigon, Darkseid could be said to be just a child learning the ropes of the concept of evil!

The atmosphere in Apokolips was quite hellish compared to Earth's maybe due to feeding off Darkseid's evil power.

Noah's group arrived just in time to witness an ongoing fight.

With a glance, Noah could easily identify the survivor heroes and the brainwashed bunch.

Noah couldn't help but laugh inwardly at the events that led to their current predicament.

Even if he wasn't a die-hard fan of Darkseid, he had to give thumps up to the Intergalactic Conquerer.

The Justice League had previously made plans to bring war directly to Apokolips planet instead of waiting for the banished Darkseid to descend upon them again.

Their plan had been almost perfect, a sure-bet win against the god of tyranny and his army of parademons but...

Things never go as planned sometimes and the laws of the universe would always find ways to fuck you up.

Darkseid, the ultimate chad, had just chilled on his throne and through Cyborg who was created from a part of the MotherBox Technology, something essentially connected to Apokolips, their plans were laid open like a book.

Their fate had become sealed and Darkseid pulled an Uno reverse card on them, leading to a brutalized league of heroes by an army of Paradooms.

Currently, Martian Hunter's lower torso was fused with some type of arachno-apokoliptian technology.

The god-like Amazonian, Wonder woman's left arm and left side of her face were robotic.

The Atlantean Queen, Mera's lower torso was gorgon-like as it looked like Medusa's tail.

Starfire, Princess of Tamaran, and a winged birdman were also robotized by Apokolips tech.

The group of heroes comprising of Superman, Raven, John Constantine, Damien, and finally, Etrigan the Immortal Demon were at the moment, pretty much surrounded like sheep.

And Noah's group's sudden appearance out of the thin air without the use of a boom tube coincided with the moment of their ambush.

"Wonderful. It looks like we didn't miss out on the party, ladies," Noah said lazily while casually looking around the fiery structures of Apokolips.

Noah held his chin, "So this is Apokolips. I am not impressed."

His demeanor was aloof as if not putting those people in front of him in his eyes.

"This planet is just lifeless," Shen Xi commented since she was someone who was more in tune with the Laws of Life.

"There isn't anything special here except for that sick-looking girl," Jasmine pointed at a pale-faced girl who was clad in a gothic outfit with a black robe around her.

Noah turned his eyes to look at Raven and their eyes just happened to meet.

Jasmine wasn't wrong since Raven was truly special.

She would look very beautiful at any other time of the day but at the moment she wasn't at her best due to the constant pressure from her father, Trigon, imprisoned inside the red gem embedded on her forehead.

"I feel an extremely ominous presence from that small gem," Jasmine looked at Raven curiously, "Noah, I feel that she should be the most powerful here, right?"

Noah nodded at her to affirm her guesses.

Raven would truly be more powerful than all the other heroes if she fused with Trigon in their current circumstances.

And that was him not factoring her future alternate selves into the fray.

As Noah's group was in their own little world of casual talk, the few justice league members were truly dumbfounded by this bizarre bunch of transcendental people.

Since all of them had their auras restrained to mortal levels, the justice league only found their extraordinary looks to be eye-catching.

"Bloody hell, who are these beautiful people?" An English Accent came from a certain blue-eyed blond man with a slightly shaved beard.

Noah immediately turned his attention to him.

It was bloody Constantine!

"My instincts tell me they are not trifled with. They are very dangerous," Damien said in a low tone while subconsciously tightening his hold over the kryptonite sword in his hand.

Noah silently praised the Bat genes in the kid who looked like the younger version of Bruce Wayne.

"Who are y-?" The boy in scout didn't get to finish his words before a strong tail from Mera catapulted him away to a far-off distance.

"Haha, that was epic!" Noah laughed wickedly at Superman's misfortune.

He knew that even though Superman had liquid kryptonite flowing in his veins, the advanced mech suit from Lex Luthor would easily offset such damage.

"How deranged are you to laugh at someone's misfortune," Qingyue's lips twitched in response.

"I guess the one you are laughing at is the symbol of hope for this Multiverse."

Their casualness made the enemies also head their way, especially Wonder Woman who was the spearhead of the group.

A seasoned warrior even under mind control truly knew how to categorize the most lethal elements in a battle.

Raven tried to speak to Starfire but Noah sighed at such a pitiful display and decided to enlighten the half-demon girl.

"These people are under mind control nothing you say can make them return to normal."

"Your fists are the ones that need to beat them into normalcy!"

When Noah was seemingly distracted a horizontal slash came drilling at his chest at extreme speeds.

Diana had attacked.

"I have sealed off my strength as I await Darkseid's arrival. In the meantime, please princess of Themyscira, entertain me well." Noah adorned a handsome smile on his face while evading the swift attack at the last moment.

Due to her missed attack, Wonder Woman was forced to stumble forward and lose her balance slightly before returning to her normal posture.

Noah easily parried away all the offensive moves from her Godkiller sword but that was him redirecting all her attacks.

The other brainwashed minions also decided to gang on him which gave the justice league a chance.

"Why are they so murdery toward the pretty boy?" Constantine was lost for words and then realized that now they had a chance to head inside the building and look for the flash.

"Guys, that pretty boy seems to be pretty powerful for diversion. Why don't we go inside and look for Barry?" Constantine shamelessly suggested.

While playing around, Noah happened to hear the English troublemaker's words.

He couldn't help but chuckle at how Old John liked to always push trouble to other people.

"I think it's pretty reasonable," Damien said coldly and nodded his head in agreement.

"Even though we don't know these people, I think they don't have any I'll intentions toward us," Raven frowned while struggling to keep her sanity due to Trigon's mental probs.

She had the power of empathy and she could easily realize the emotional spectrum of other beings.

Even the man with a huge sense of heroism, Superman, agreed.

'These people are in for a surprise.' Noah smiled wickedly and decided to try something new.

To have direct contact with the forces of the multiverse!

At that instant, he tried to control the elemental particles of magic in the atmosphere.

Magic in its raw form came to him like a child on steroids and he willed to create a huge [Glacial Wave] that immediately sealed the four minions of Darkseid in [Ice Magic].

"Nothing old magic can't solve, right Constantine?" Noah said with a smug look on his face while winking at the group of flabbergasted heroes.

John Constantine, the accomplished magician, was the most shocked, followed by Raven.

"That's why I hate magic!" The weakened Kryptonian grumbled in an unfair tone but was nonetheless also in disbelief.

"They aren't dead, are they?" Damien blinked inconsistently.

"A bloody, one hell of a cheater," Constantine said in a hoarse voice, his hands could be seen visibly trembling.

Only he, knew very well what had transpired theoretically!
