Chapter 15: New World

~Jason POV~

Currently I'm in an apartment room in the Danganronpa world as I view the screen in front of me showing me a new world for me to go into from the traveler system.

[New world has been added after your one-year time period: Seraph of the End.]

Seraph of the End huh?

Sounds very interesting really considering everything I'm going to need to study for that world but most importantly those weapons are up for grabs.

As I was in my room, I began to leave to my old world with everything I have on me since I won't be seeing this world for a while.

I really made some memorable memories here with the people I met especially those brats they were a pain in the ass, but they were ones that I personally enjoyed their companies the most.

Especially playing with Chiaki and everyone one of her friends in an arcade games I think I will miss those the most.

Meeting those video game characters in real life is certainly different of one would expect in the real world but to them this is the real world.

Heh.

At least this will be an interesting experience and my blood is boiling for more excitement that I can't wait to go all out for.

I just hope the next one I go to is much more fun but considering their dark nature of society I doubt I'll even get that much done.

With that I left the Danganronpa world but not before I set up a video message for them to hear from me.

At least I don't want to be an inconsiderate dick to them only to the people who have really made a connection with me.

Pressing the send button on my hologram screen I proceeded to leave this world from my Traveler System as I talk to myself, "This have been a real blast, but the next world is right before my eyes. I need to study up on what I need as much as I can as well as be bettered prepared for the next challenges I face."

With that I vanished from the Danganronpa world…

Later I was now back at my own home again as I saw everything was just as they were placed as I sigh out a breath of relief, "Sigh… now this is one world I missed now then time to crack down on some info materials."

Ok now that I'm home it's time to start gathering information about Seraph of the End from the internet as I commanded my A.I. as I went to my fridge, "Ok Alter Ego search through the internet and locate any source material about Seraph of the End got it?"

That was when I heard a response from my Alter Ego as it spoke in a robotic tone, "Affirmative sir Jason, it will be done soon enough."

Now that I have finished commanding Alter Ego what to do I needed to go ahead to clean my old home as I began to search for anything that I can as well as catch up with the My Hero Academia manga.

~Third POV~

For the next few days Jason has spent his time researching the Seraph of the End about everything about it and cleaning his old home that was under his property.

Owari no Seraph, also known as Seraph of the End or Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign is a series is set in a world where a deadly virus has wiped out most of humanity, allowing vampires to enslave the rest of the human race.

It tells the story of an orphaned boy named Yuichiro Hyakuya trying to rid the world of the vampires by joining the Japanese Imperial Demon Army.

Years ago, a lethal virus spreads across the world, wiping out most of humanity and allowing vampires to enslave the remainder of the human race.

For the next four years, Yuichiro Hyakuya and his fellow orphans at the Hyakuya Orphanage are treated as livestock, only being allowed to live for their blood.

Desperate for freedom, Yuichiro and his best friend Mikaela hatch a plan to escape with their family to the outside world, hopefully free from vampires—only for their attempts to end in tragedy.

As the only one to make it out alive, Yuichiro joins the Japanese Imperial Demon Army — Japan's only hope against the vampires — in order to exact revenge on the vampires who killed his family.

However, Jason didn't really care much about the plot but more so the weapons they wield as he was interested in them, "Interesting… as much as the plot is really messed up, I don't have to worry much about causing so many problems so long as it's on the enemies side. But these <Cursed Gear> are more interesting for me?"

<Cursed Gear> is created by directly calling on demons and sealing them directly into sacred items using a demon curse so that they could serve the wielder.

The items used to seal demons are almost exclusively weapons: swords, axes, and even bows. The weapons need to be consecrated and purified - a process that takes years before a demon can be trapped inside.

These weapons are so powerful that they revolutionized the world and forced traditional magic to fall into disuse.

It can increase a normal person's standard ability by sevenfold. The highest ranking of cursed gears is the Black Demon Series, and anyone bearing one of them is capable of killing multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons.

With lower ranking of cursed gear series, the bearer can have an even one-on-one match against a vampire armed with a second-class weapon.

Mass-produced cursed gear, which Yuichiro Hyakuya uses in Vampire Reign chapter 2, is a much weaker form of cursed gear, usually a yaksha- or myo-o- class weapon.

These can increase a regular human's strength by three to four times. Seven humans with these weapons should be able to kill one unarmed vampire, but an entire unit of them would have a difficult time against even one vampire with a second-class weapon. These weapons could still be broken by stronger weapons.

But what caught Jason's attention was the fact that his eyes are on the term <Black Demons> the supposed strongest from the rest of the demons as they are first rank.

The strongest cursed gears because they contain first-rank demons. There are very few people capable of wielding a Black Demon weapon, and anyone capable of doing so has been experimented on previously.

Anyone bearing this rank of weapon can easily kill multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons.

The death rate of those who challenge the Black Demons is exceedingly high compared to other Demon Weapons. Only those with strong willpower and resolution are able to challenge them.

The users must undergo operations to significantly alter their minds and bodies. They must also understand the demon's curse, have a strong ability to control magic, and have the right disposition for controlling a demon.

Even so, the success rate is less than 20% in the Catastrophe light novels. Guren catches Kureto Hiragi's attention when he has three teenagers successfully wield black demons in the manga.

Jason continued reading his research about the demons specifically of what happened once a person managed to get their power.

As soon as he or she lays their hand on the weapon, the human enters a trance. The soldier and demon battle within the person's mind, and the demon will use painful memories against its host.

Once the human convinces the demon to give him/her power, the demon makes a contract. Demons feed off of desire, but they are weakened by love. The human must be careful to have plenty of desire, to be able to reign it in as well, lest the demon take over.

The only reason demons form this contract in the first place is to have an opportunity at stealing their host's body. In return, demons allow their hosts to have their immense power.

A host that is weak in willpower will be overcome, and a host without balance will likewise lose control. This is most prone to happening during ceremonies or advanced training.

A demon who possesses its host turns the host into something called a man-eating demon. This demon controls the human's body and attempts to eliminate nearby humans that may cause it trouble.

After a demon becomes contracted to a human, that demon will continue to attempt possession by engaging the bearer in a battle of nightmares whenever he or she sleeps.

But that wasn't over at all once the person touches a <Cursed Gear> they have the likely chances to become a Namanari that are humans who have two personalities in their body who are one step away from becoming full demons.

But that was what caught Jason attention was the side effects of humans transforming into demons.

After a human comes into contact with the demon, it will attempt to possess the host's body and if successful the demon will begin to merge his or her personality with that of its host's.

This forms the being known as a namanari. The original human personality is present but takes on the demon's characteristics, becoming full of dark desires.

At first, this merged personality is full of primordial urges, such as lust, destruction, and violence. After that, the desires grow more complex and nuanced, and starts to affect the person's thinking.

Eventually, the infected persons may become a new demon completely.

Viewing this his heart was beating for excitement as he thought of way of obtaining their powers as he talked to himself, "Interesting so that means it will be the battle of the minds if that was the case then how fortunate for me."

Sitting in front of his advance laptop he modified in the Danganronpa world he twirls around his spinning chair as he spoke out loud to himself in a curious tone, "I wonder if I can somehow trap the demons inside my mind with my Neo World Program? I mean if I can hook it up to my head, I can basically trap the demon inside a cyber world that they have no control over."

Standing up from his spinning chair he began to move forward around his room as he began to think of possibilities of obtaining their power, "Yeah that should be possible in theory. Since the demons can come in contact with inside my mind it's not too far of a stretch that they can be inside as well. I mean I can basically force them to give me their power through the New World Program. I mean Junko managed to do that in the Danganronpa 2 game using her A.I."

Thinking it through once more Jason stops as he was standing as he ponders the idea of the demon power as he spoke to himself, "Hmm… I mean once the demon is inside my mind, I can basically force it into the New World Program from there on I can basically control the playing field. But how do I force them out of their… Hmm…"

As if he was thinking of a method that was when a thought occurred to Jason as he wondered if it was that simple, "I wonder if I can infect the demons with a code virus in the New World Program for invaders inside my mind. Or possibly kill them in the New World Program and force their existence as 'dead' while I implant a code into them as they are 'killed' they won't fight back and act more as an A.I. but this carries a lot risk…"

Remaining silent at the scene Jason looked at his options while he scrunches up his face as he read the latest chapter of the MHA manga as he spoke, "Fuck that world up their game with turning their academy into a mechas anime and with the security there even I doubt I can get a lot of quirks before I'm caught. Even then I would face super powered heroes while I have my armor while good have a time limit of how long I can use it for."

While lamenting on his house in the living room Jason sighed as he got back to work on his Model-Prime Armor as he talked to himself, "If I'm going into the Seraph of the End world first then I'm preparing for some UV Rays into the armor. No way I'm leaving unprepared against some vampires."

For decided what world he was going to next Jason decided to go after MHA for the possible power ups in that world with his armor fully equipped.

Since the apocalypse in 2012, a man-made virus brought about by the Seraph of the End, was released onto the world.

It killed most humans over the age of thirteen and reduced the world's population by 90%. A few humans over thirteen survived the epidemic thanks to a vaccine that was developed using modified curse techniques.

Modified body or not his not taking his chances going there until he has something against the virus so till then that is on hold.
