Chapter 14: The of End Danaganronpa

~Third POV~

Jason have Mukuro guiding him towards were Junko is as he still has his Model-Prime Armor on at all times and have Alter Ego check the surveillance in the area in case Junko or Mukuro do anything funny.

As they were walking, he tried to make small talk with Mukuro in a cheerful tone, "You know Mukuro we could just talk instead of the silent treatment?"

Silence was pretty much the only reply he got from the woman.

Sighing out a breath of defeat they kept on walking towards their destination.

As they continue onwards to their destination of the abandoned building Mukuro finally talking to him although a bit flustered, "Tell me what exactly you mean to do to my sister by simply talking to her. Don't you know what you're getting yourself in for?"

Jason immediately replied with no emotion in his voice as he spoke out to her, "Yes. I know exactly who I'm dealing with here. And I know a lot of Junko personality then most would probably know."

Mukuro didn't believed that for a second that there was a person who knew Junko other than her.

But what caught her off guard was his next response in a jealous tone, "You know you despair sisters I'm actually quite jealous of you two honestly."

Hearing that Mukuro was shocked but her mind wanted to know why as she spoke, "You are jealous of us? The <Ultimate Hope> is jealous of us Despair Sisters what a complete shock is it? You have all the talent of this world is jealous of us? Why?"

Replying with an empty chuckle that was heard throughout the building as Mukuro heard a response in a sad tone, "Simple really. I'm jealous of you two because you have each other to fall on each other. I bet you don't know how much your sister actually loves you although she doesn't know how to show it, she does care about you."

Mukuro could only blush at the scene before her as an enemy captured her was complementing her as she leads the way to her sister.

Mukuro could only scoff at this not wanting to admit to what Jason has said was true he continued to speak, "I mean you are probably the only other person that I know of to somewhat understand your sister even though she is really a bad person to many you see what little good she is."

Confusing her Jason asked her a personal question as he spoke with curiosity, "Tell me Mukuro are you interested in the outside world other than despair? Haven't you at least lived your life for yourself for once? Because I know I have and trust me it's for the best experience you will have. Hahaha…"

Mukuro felt that there was something more to that question but didn't understood it as she was only a tool that knows to fight and kill not socialize.

Laughing to himself he made sure to reread the personality of the person his dealing with here once he came to this world.

Junko's real personality, revealed at the conclusion of the Killing School Life, is notably different: very apathetic and easily bored to an unhealthy and abnormal degree.

Because of this, her behavior and mannerisms tended to be extremely erratic and unstable by her own autonomous design; keeping up one 'appearance' for too long bores her, which causes her to often switch between different personas.

Junko's 'moods' included her Monokuma persona, sickening cuteness, severe depression, clinical sophistication, boisterous vulgarity, eerie stoicism, and haughty superiority. She switched between 'moods' regularly, often imitating other students' expressions, which made for a highly unsettling conversation with the survivors.

Above all, Junko was deeply obsessed with despair, having found despair to be the most and possibly the only enjoyable emotion for her, whether it be inflicting despair unto others, or suffering from despair wholeheartedly. This made her extremely dangerous, as she wished to make the whole world feel absolute despair.

However, this also often proved to be her biggest weakness, as she gave her opponents a 'fair' chance to defeat her in order to make their despair all the greater if they fail, and happily welcomed her own despair if her plans failed.

Both Junko herself and the game's creators have confirmed that she truly has no reason to do the things she does other than despair itself, which makes her all the more dangerous and unable to be reasoned with.

However, it is hinted at in the anime that her analytical talent was what caused her to turn to despair, and that hopes peak was her first target because they see talent as hope, and use that talent for their own benefit, which drove Junko to take the talent they loved so much and use it for evil, which shows her in a more understandable light.

It's also shown that under her amnesiac state, Junko doesn't show a thirst for despair or particularly strong hatred of boredom, implying that her constant case of forgetfulness had spared her from embracing despair again. However, the return of her memories reverted her to her former ways.

As the mastermind and leader of Ultimate Despair, Junko was shown to be highly intelligent, cunning, somewhat impulsive, extremely manipulative, and violent and cruel without remorse. She was a highly toxic individual, being both physically and mentally abusive to everyone around her. She manipulated people into falling madly in love with her and used their weaknesses, their despair, against them.

Things like hope, peace, and happiness disgusted her, but she sometimes gave hope to others, only to turn it into greater despair later.

She often manipulated people into doing bad things instead of directly doing them herself and then had a habit of blaming these manipulated people and claiming it wasn't her fault, as a part of proving her point that despair exists in everyone and that hope will naturally lose to that despair.

While she is very skilled, Junko can also lie and cheat to further her own goals, even if it's hypocritical and goes against her beliefs.

The further they walked down the hall of the building going upstairs Mukuro revealed a door showing to Junko room as Jason entered inside.

Inside the room revealed the person in question none other than the ultimate despair herself Junko Enoshima.

Junko jumped up from her room as she hugged Jason expressing clear joy on her face, "Hurray I finally get to meet you mister unknown <Ultimate Hope>!"

Seeing this Junko tries her luck to kill Jason but he simply grabs her at the wrist as Jason asked Mukuro in a deadpan tone, "Is she always like this?"

Mukuro responded with a nod as Jason pushes Junko to the ground as he places his metal hand on his head as he spoke, "Great I'm dealing with a man child with the brain of Einstein or some other smart professor out there great, ok let's get this over with."

Standing on one end as Jason releases Mukuro with surprise on her as Jason started to speak with Junko, "Ok then miss Junko Enoshima the <Ultimate Despair> what's the point for you know the whole despair act."

Junko stands up being proud as she began to speak out her charted-out path for Jason with a upbeat fashion, "Ignoring that mister Jason I have an offer for you! Since you became like the ultimate talent for humanity and that shit how about I help you the unpredictability of despair then we can – "

That was when Jason stopped that train of thought as he spoke out, "Yeah… I'm gonna have to stop you right there. Why in the hell would I ever team up with you?"

Junko smiles at this as she replies trying to show the similarities of the two in a confident manner, "That is so simple that's because we like despair. I mean you pretty much destroyed the reputation of Hope's Peak Academy and indirectly killed the Steering Committee with your stunt, as well as meeting my disgusting pig older sister! This must be fate!"

Jason on his end just deadpans at her not truly captivated by her charms or her deal for that manner, "No it was just a coincide happening one after another by chance of my luck. As for the Hope's Peak Academy I just wanted them to feel justice and this cover up no way I'm letting them get away scot free even if it meant destroying their reputation. Although I never intended other than the Steering Committee to have died that was my fault."

Grinning at this Junko squeals in delight but Jason puts his foot down quickly on that as he spoke to her, "Look here Junko I came here in mind to practically stop you without killing you since I would break my promise to those kids that seem to have a high opinion of you. You know the one with a robot bear army at the ready?"

Hearing this Junko ponders at this before the mention of robots as she immediately remembers Monaca but not the rest as she nods her head, "Oh yeah I did take care of those brats and ignoring Monaca-Chan calls to make me feel extra despair for each call."

Sighing at this Jason decides to go for the direct approach for his answer with Junko, "Ok then as I told Mukuro before I was going to have a talk with you but I already knew that was impossible to begin with it."

Junko nods at this as she replies to Jason with a crazy toothy grin on her face, "But tell me this <Ultimate Hope> I already knew the results of this don't you feel too bored with knowing everything. I mean you have all the talent as everyone does doesn't make it feel nothing but despair knowing everything. Despair is the great unknown you know."

However, contrary to the answer she expected Jason replied with a chuckle not expecting where she was going as he mocked despair, "Haha… Yes, I do admit that there are times that even I feel bored knowing what's going to happen, but then again I would rather appreciate it really you should try it."

Continuing on his sentence he glanced at Junko as he smiled inside his armor as he spoke positivity much to Junko disgust as he spoke, "Yes I do feel bored about knowing the events but that's what it makes it for me to enjoy you know. To make memories of everything that occurred and keep it to heart. But to you it's just mushy crap you don't want while I want a sense of adventure as you will."

The more that Jason spoke the more that Junko seems to be disgusted to hear while Mukuro seems to be interested with the words as he spoke as she thought to herself more seriously on what she wants to do.

Nearing the end of his ranting he took a jab at Junko's beliefs of despair wanting it to be unknown while he contradicts her actions with a bored tone, "You know this should be noted that even though you claim despair is the great unknown, in the end, the road of despair went exactly the way you had planned right? Except for the fact that I'm a bump in your step."

*Flash*

Just like that Jason armor flashed a light that caused the two girls in the room to be paused in a state as they were unresponsive to the Flashback Light as it manipulated their memories.

Jason made sure to change their memories a bit to alter the course of the world as well as the fate of the Despair Sisters as he can't keep on coming here all the time to observe some psychopathic teens as he wants to explore what the worlds have to offer.

So, he made sure to alter their past while retaining their talents but also changing their past thanks to his Flashback Light as it happened to the people in Danganronpa V3 it happened to them as they both passed out.

With the sense of accomplishment done Jason began to leave the area as he began leave the area while cleaning the messes of dead bodies.

After that he left the area as he spoke to himself as he returned to his normal attire not wanting to drag attention, "At least this will make the kids not want to kill me with their mechs for not killing Junko. I hope she changes but with the amount of memory erased as well as her new persona it wouldn't be that much of trouble. Now it's a matter of deleting and changing her whole fashionista persona to deal with I hope the Hope Video is enough. The things I do for kids' good grief."

Just as he walks away from them he laughs at the scene as he talks to himself, "Hehehe… but then again Junko doesn't have her talent or who she is anymore to be a threat. It's a permanent solution for her as for Mukuro I hope she can live up to being a good sister."

With that he began to play on his bracelet as he begins to make people forget Junko Enoshima…

The next few days later Jason was seen at an arcade nearby his hotel room was as he smiles as he sees Chiaki along with her friends coming over.

Smirking at this Jason grins at the sight as he asked Chiaki in a confident tone, "Well, well if isn't Chiaki ready for another round?"

Chiaki puffs her cheeks as the other ultimate's are bewildered at the scene as she spoke out in a challenging tone, "Don't worry about that Blank I will defeat you on my honor of my gaming girl skills!"

A dangerous glint appeared in Jason's eyes as he steps forward to Chiaki Jojo style as he spoke to her, "Oh ho? You a non-Shonen protagonist dare to approach the mighty Blank into a game battle? Better be prepared to lose young heroine!"

With that the match of the century happened but other than that Jason spent his time in peace in the Danganronpa world till it was evitable of the time for his new adventure to begin.
