You Said You Didn't Peek!

Wen Ran's life had been smooth sailing in the past ten years or so after being pampered by Old Wen and her senior brothers. She did not know what kind of misfortune she found herself running into, but nothing good had ever happened to her since she met Shen Wu in the Great Abyss Valley!

Wen Ran's chest hurt even more and she trembled as she got up from the ground. "Could you move further away, please? I need to change."

Shen Wu did not say much and obediently walked a few steps away. He even consciously turned his back and said, "Go ahead. I won't peek."

Wen Ran walked silently to a corner and glanced at Shen Wu's back before taking out some clothes from her storage bracelet.

Shen Wu, on the other hand, was considerate enough to start a conversation with her, since he probably sensed that she was still feeling uneasy and nervous. "Do you know where we are?"

"No," Wen Ran really had no idea. She had never heard Old Wen or anyone else mention that there was a cave in the forbidden area. The atmosphere there was cold and eerie, and she had no idea what kind of danger was hidden here.

Wen Ran had just taken off her wet clothes when she suddenly saw a black shadow moving on the wall from the corner of her eye. As soon as she saw what it was, she could not help but scream, "Snake!"

As soon as she let out that yell, a sword flew over and stabbed into the stone wall, cutting the black snake in half.

Shen Wu raised his hand slowly and the sword flew straight in front of him. He grabbed the sword hilt and produced another handkerchief as he wiped the sword and said, "Don't be afraid. I'm here."

Wen Ran tried to control her crumbling expression and immediately covered her body with her clothes. Even so, her white arm was still visible, and it could easily make a person's imagination run wild. With a hopeful tone, she smiled and asked, "You didn't see anything, did you?"

Shen Wu thought for a second, as if he was pondering over her question. A moment later, he understood and replied with a smile, "You're still young, so don't worry. I won't do anything to you."

After saying that, he retracted his gaze from below her neck and began to clean his sword after turning around again.

Wen Ran wondered what he was talking about when he said that she was 'still young'.

She stood there in a daze, probably because she did not hear any movement behind her. not daring to move when she didn't hear any movement from behind her. The understanding and considerate Shen Wu spoke with an innocent smile, "Don't scare yourself. Your waist isn't as thin as mine, your legs aren't as long as mine, and your skin isn't as fair as mine. I haven't reached the point of desperation yet."

Wen Ran was speechless.

She felt that his remark sounded really strange.

"Hurry up and put on your clothes," Shen Wu said, "we have to keep moving."

He did not know what other dangers lurked in that cave and there was no time to waste.

Wen Ran was about to continue wearing her clothes when she suddenly thought of something. She glanced at Shen Wu from behind as he wiped the sword and asked, "I'm curious if you can use your sword as a mirror if you clean it so well all the time?"

"I suppose," Shen Wu replied modestly.

"If you say you're able to use it as a mirror, then you should be able to see reflections quite clearly, right?"

"Usually, yes."

Seconds later, he moved to one side and dodged a stone that came flying over.

Wen Ran's flustered and exasperated voice reverberated in the cave. "Shen Wu! You said you didn't peek!"
