Kalan, a big Dragon Ball fan got run over by a Truck and died when he saved a cute little white fox. Luckily for Kalan, he's the MC of our story, thus he reincarnated into the Dragon Ball World! Kalan was over the moon, he had just got his hand on his delivery package, it was the 7 dragon balls from 1 star to 7 star dragon ball! Happily walking down the street hugging his backpack where the dragon balls lay, Kalan suddenly saw a cute white fox full of injuries and a broken leg lying on the road.
"What a cute fox!" Kalan thought "Who could be so cruel to hurt it so badly... I can't just let it stay on the road, it's too dangerous. What if a car ran over it."
Kalan hurriedly walked toward the white fox while trying to show it that he meant it no harm.
"Don't worry, I'm just going to bring you away from the road, it's dangerous here." Kalan gently smiled and assured the little fox while he slowly walked towards it.
*Vrrm* *Screech*
Suddenly Kalan heard loud noises, turning his head he saw a big truck driving towards the little fox. Time froze, Kalan could see every indents and contours of wheels on the truck, he moved his gaze toward the little fox. Even his gaze moved extremely slow, Kalan felt like he was watching a film in slow motion, after what felt like 5 seconds, he finally saw the little fox. It's eyes looked extremely dim, like it had given up on life, as if it knew the truck was coming, yet unable to dodge it.
Kalan's legs started moving, it felt like he was running in the water because his movements were so slow and arduous and he felt the air resistance solidify. His right knee slowly moved upward, his left hand swung forward in sync with his right leg, his right hand swung backwards and his left leg kicked the ground and just when his left foot was about to leave the ground, he kicked the ground again with his toe, boosting his speed.
Kalan almost flew forward, it was an increadible sight. Although as an avid Dragon Ball fan, he loved to follow Master Roshi's training style and had a decent built body from years of training, Kalan was nowhere near a professional sprinter. Yet he ran so fast that his time would almost be 8 seconds in a 100 m sprint. But unfortunately the truck was driving atleast 70 km/h. If we were to converts 100 m in 8 seconds to km/h it would be an astonishing 45 km/h.
"I won't make it in time!" Kalan thought. Immediately he abandoned his idea to running, he kicked the ground hard and jumped towards the little fox. Time was still moving slowly, he could see the truck coming closer and closer. When Kalan arrived in front of the little fox, he could see the truck's bumper almost touching him, the wind brought from the truck blew hard towards Kalan's face, like tiny blades almost cutting him. He didn't even have the time to land, all he could do was push the little fox out of the way.
*BAM*
The bumper crashed into Kalan and sent him flying several meters and bounced a few times before his body rolled slowly to a stop.
*Cough* *Cough*
Kalan coughed out blood, his body mangled, chest crushed and his lungs punctured by his broken rib bones.
"KAH!" The pain was unimaginable, so painful Kalan couldn't even cry out. His body convulsed as more blood spilled.
"Am I dying? Why did I run into that truck?" Kalan mumbled.
*Clink*
He heard some clinking sounds, turning his head he saw the dragon balls rolling away while two of the bumped into each other, some of them even had cracks but none of them were broken into pieces.
"Ha- Haha! Shenron I wish that if there is a second chance, let me be reborn as a Saiyan..." Kalan mumbled his last words before his consciousness descended into endless darkness.
*Sigh*
A light sigh came out of nowhere. A white haired young woman with white fox ears and a white furred fox tail looked at Kalan's body. Her body although beautiful and well shaped, but covered in wounds.
"I've reached the end of my road... When I fell into despair, you reached out and saved me. I've been deprived of my powers and would rather die than live a crippled life... But your actions changed my mind. So what if I lost everything? I will one day get my vengence!" The young woman whispered emotionally.
"Strongest System, since I can't use you anymore... Go, this young boy will be your new host." The young woman said lightly.
