Rock Forest

Not long after, a Big Twin Moon countryside flying taxi flew over and landed next to their flying car.

While enduring the uncomfortable feeling, a gypsy rock snake suddenly darted out of the crack in the rock beside her feet. Lorraine was so frightened that she slipped and fell down.   

Qian Xu quick eyes and swift hands immediately grabbed her hand.   

Lorraine got his help and climbed up over the steep rock.

After both two got to the ground, Qian Xu glanced at the time and said, "We have to look for a place and prepare to hide from the storm."   

Lorraine panted and nodded.   

Qian Xu slowed down and lead her forward while looking around.   

Lorraine wanted to help, but she had just rushed all the way in the dim light of night. With exceeding her focus limit, both her mental and physical power was exhausted. It was really hard to distinguish in the pitch-black dark night which one of the strangely-shaped boulders was suitable for hiding.   

Qian Xu said: "You are tired, don't push it anymore."   

Lorraine did not say a word, still following the method that Su Qi taught her, focusing attention on her five senses and forcing them to feel the subtle changes of the surrounding. She knew that challenging the limit of the body was a double-edged sword. It might improve her abilities, or might cause an irreparable injury, but how could she know the result without taking a risk?   

Qian Xu suddenly clenched her hand tightly tight: "Listen!"   

Lorraine then realized that Qian Xu had been holding her hand all the time. In a split second, all of her mind was attracted by their holding hands, and she completely forgot about other things.

Lorraine pursed her lips and snickered sweetly.

Qian Xu let go of Lorraine's hand: "I'll go in and take a look. You wait a moment."

Qian Xu really had no other thoughts. He just saw that she had no strength left then assisted her, nothing more. Lorraine curled her fingers and clenched her fists, trying to act as natural as possible, as if nothing was unusual.   

After a short while, Qian Xu came out: "It is safe inside. You go in and rest first. I will find a suitable big rock to block the cave entrance."   

"Don't go far, the storm is coming soon." Lorraine warned with concern.
