Poison

The flying car slowly drove to their front.

Lorraine was about to get into the car, but her feet were suddenly soft and fell to the ground. As she expected, before her head kissed the ground, Consul hold her in his arm as a normal response of level 3A strength.

"Princess?"

Lorraine frowned in pain. One hand was on her belly while another hand pointing at the bag that fell to the ground: "Medicine."

Consul hastily opened the bag. The first thing he saw was a black music box player.

"In...inside" Lorraine's ache was already out of breath.

Consul reached in to search and took out a medicine bag.

Lorraine tremblingly took out two small medicine bottles from row after row of medicine bottles that didn't have any labels at all.

She opened her lips and was about to throw medicine into her mouth.

Consul gripped her wrist.

Lorraine was going crazy. She couldn't drug him, and she couldn't drug herself too? Her eyes widened with glistening tears of anger. She miserably looked at Consul and groaned in pain, "I've drunk too much cold drink... my stomach ache."

Consul let go his hand.

Lorraine took the medicine. She lent Consul's arm to support and sickly got into the car, pretending that the pain was gradually relieved.

Consul didn't say a word and quietly accompanied her.

Lorraine didn't dare to watch him, but she felt like Consul was really nervous about her. Her acting skills should have fooled him.

"Is it better?" Consul asked.

Lorraine let out a faint and weak "um". Although she wanted to scare him, but if she scared him to the point of sending her to hospital wouldn't be good.

Now Lorraine really felt a stomachache and unconsciously pressed her stomach.

Consul asked, "Do you want to go to hospital to see a doctor?"

Lorraine mumbled: "I am a doctor."

"Does it still hurt?"

"It has nothing to do with you!"

Lorraine turned her head and looked out the window, showing that she had no interest in talking to him.

When she returned home, many guests had already arrived.

Lorraine hurriedly looked for Chen Sha and saw that he was well-dressed and was talking to Chu Mo.

She rushed over and enthusiastically tugged Chen Sha's and Chu Mo's sleeves, signaled them to follow her.

Three people went upstairs. After closing the door, Chen Sha asked, "What's the matter?"

Lorraine pointed to her throat and wrote strokes after strokes on the virtual screen: "I can't talk anymore."

"Chu Mo!" Chen Sha immediately dragged Lorraine to Chu Mo front.

Lorraine cooperatively opened her mouth: "Ah----"

After Chu Mo finish examining, his brows frowned together: "Someone poisoned you. How could that be?"

Lorraine looked very ashamed: "I took the wrong medicine. I had a stomachache. I originally wanted to take painkillers and health supplement medicine, but turned out I took the wrong medicine."

Chu Mo stared openmouthed. This kind of thing could happen? Could he take back her gene repairer license?

Lorraine showed her medicine bag to Chu Mo. There were five layers in total. Each layer was neatly arranged with exactly the same small medicine bottles, and there was no label on each medicine bottle.

Lorraine pointed on two medicine bottles, indicating that she had taken these two wrong medicine bottles.

Chu Mo simply was in cold sweat: "Why don't you put label on medicine bottle?"

"I did it on purpose. Bad person can't touch my medicine bag."

No wonder she could poison herself. Chu Mo smirked and said, "What a great idea! You also can't touch it yourself!"

Lorraine patted her chest and wrote: "I'm absolutely no problem. Today I have a very bad stomachache and my vision was a bit sloppy. Consul was also beside me, made me very nervous." She had the old fox validated the whole thing. This group of little foxes shouldn't be suspicious.

Chu Mo finally understood what the ancients said, 'Genius and lunatic were only separated by a thin line.'

Chen Sha asked with concern: "Lorraine's voice..."

Chu Mo said: "It's okay. Princess had already detoxified herself. Now it's just a side effect of the poison. She can't talk for only two or three days."

Lorraine wrote: "Don't tell my ninth sister and seventeenth brother. Just say that my throat is infected and inflamed by virus."

Chu Mo coldly mocked: "To say that you dumbly poisoned yourself at your becoming gene repairer celebrating dinner? I really can't say such shameful thing."

Lorraine laughed dryly.

Chu Mo looked at Chen Sha's uneased expression and discreetly left.

Lorraine wrote: "I want to change clothes." suggesting Chen Sha to go out too.

Chen Sha looked at her medicine bag: "How many poisons did you actually prepare?"

Lorraine blinked her eyes pretending to be naive.

"Are you that much insecure?" Chen Sha's finger slid across each medicine bottle.

Lorraine smiled with a guilty conscience. She hid the secret of being a death row convict and facing people she deceived every day. It was indeed not easy to feel safe.

"Living under the same roof with me these years, facing a monster that may mutate change anytime anywhere and still didn't lose your mind is not easy already." Chen Sha mocked at himself and strode out the door.

"No!" Lorraine blurted out but no voice came out.

She reached out her hand wanted to catch Chen Sha. Chen Sha had already pulled the door and went out.

Cheers and laughter came from downstairs. Lorraine suddenly felt that something was destined. Either explaining or not explaining, in the end it meant nothing.

She withdrew her hand. The door slowly closed, separating two people in two worlds.

Damn...

The door slowly closed and separating two people in two worlds.

This is so sad.
