Meeting with Stark

The next day, Logan stood in the middle of a dense forest, wearing only a pair of pants that highlighted his muscular, well-defined physique. His presence commanded the attention of the wildlife around him.

Wolves, birds, and various other animals surrounded him, communicating in their own way. Logan listened intently, understanding their sounds and movements as if they were speaking a common language.

He crouched down to a large wolf, who seemed to be the leader of the pack. "What's happening on the northern side?" Logan asked, his voice low and calm. The wolf responded with a series of growls and barks, which Logan interpreted with ease. The birds above him chirped in agreement, confirming the wolf's report.

Logan nodded, understanding the situation. "Good. Keep an eye on it, and let me know if anything changes," he said, giving the wolf a gentle pat. In return for their loyalty and information, Logan ensured that the animals' needs were met, whether it was food, protection, or a safe territory.

Just as he finished his conversation with the animals, Kara appeared at the edge of the clearing. She paused for a moment, taking in the sight of him, his bare torso glistening with a light sheen of sweat.

Logan noticed her gaze and smirked, teasingly saying, "Like what you see?"

Kara, unfazed, smiled back. "I've already seen everything there is."

Logan chuckled, his eyes gleaming mischievously. He stepped closer and pulled her into a tight embrace. "How about I show you more?" he whispered before leaning in for a passionate kiss.

Kara, though very much tempted to continue, gently pulled back with a sigh. "I'm here to discuss something important," she reminded him, though her voice wavered slightly.

Logan's smirk widened. "We can do something more important," he murmured, leaning in holding her close, kissed her with a fiery passion, attempting to change her mind.

Kara eventually pulled back, sighing softly as she looked into his eyes. "Tony Stark wants to have a meeting with you," she finally said.

Logan's playful expression shifted to a frown. "What does he want with me?" he asked, his tone suddenly serious.

Kara explained, "You saved him... twice. He might want to thank you for that."

Logan huffed, clearly unimpressed. "Stark isn't the type to say thanks, and you know I hate meetings. If I'm alone with that guy, especially, I might lose it."

"That's why I'm coming with you," Kara responded, her voice calm and reassuring. "To make sure that doesn't happen."

Logan sighed in frustration. "You just ruined my mood, you know that."

Kara smiled and leaned in to kiss him softly on the lips. "After the meeting, we can go on a vacation, and you can do whatever you want," she promised, her voice laced with a hint of playfulness.

Logan's eyes lit up with a renewed fire at the thought. "You better keep your word," he said, his voice thick with anticipation.

Kara just smiled, knowing she had successfully convinced him. Together, they walked out of the forest and went to their house.

**Later that Evening, inside a famous restaurant**

Tony Stark, notorious for his lack of punctuality, arrived at the restaurant nearly an hour late, fully expecting to be the last one to show up and make a dramatic entrance. To his surprise, Logan and Kara arrived shortly after him, seemingly unbothered by Tony's tardiness.

Logan, dressed casually yet with a commanding presence, was accompanied by Kara, the Luna of the Crescent Pack and the CEO of Logan Enterprises.

"Well, well, if it isn't the most punctual people in the city," Tony quipped, extending his hand for a handshake. "Tony Stark, genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist—and now, apparently, dinner guest."

Kara smiled politely, sensing the sarcasm in his tone. "Kara Howlett," she introduced herself smoothly, shaking his hand. "CEO of Logan Enterprises and Luna of the Crescent Pack."

Logan, standing beside her, gave a slight nod before shaking Tony's hand. "James Howlett," he said simply, his tone curt. Logan wasn't in the mood for small talk, keeping his introduction short.

Tony raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the simplicity of Logan's introduction, which contrasted sharply with Kara's more detailed one. "Right, the strong, silent type. Got it," Tony said with a slight chuckle.

Kara interjected smoothly, filling the conversational gap. "We've heard a lot about you, Mr. Stark. Your reputation certainly precedes you."

Tony, clearly enjoying the attention, leaned in slightly. "I'm sure it does. But you two—especially you, Mr. Howlett—you've been keeping a much lower profile. Until recently, anyway."

Kara and Logan exchanged a knowing glance before Kara responded, "We prefer to stay out of the spotlight. It's easier to get things done that way."

Tony nodded, appreciating their discretion, even if it wasn't his style. "I can see the appeal," he admitted.

Once they were seated inside and had ordered food, Tony, always curious, decided to dig deeper. "So, tell me more about the Crescent Pack. It's not every day you hear about a mercenary group with, let's say, a supernatural twist."

Kara met Tony's gaze steadily. "The Crescent Pack isn't just any mercenary group. We have our own code, and we choose our missions very carefully. We handle high-stakes situations that others might find too... dangerous or complex."

Tony leaned forward, intrigued. "And Logan Enterprises? How does that fit into all of this? A company led by a pack of werewolves isn't exactly standard business fare."

Kara smiled slightly, clearly used to these kinds of questions. "Logan Enterprises operates across multiple sectors—technology, security, medical and more. We're a global entity, and our reach is extensive. While the Crescent Pack handles the more... physical aspects of our operations and do some missions sometimes, Logan Enterprises provides the infrastructure and resources necessary to support those missions."

"So, a group of super-powered mercenaries working in the shadows. Sounds like something out of a comic book," Tony quipped, a smirk playing on his lips.

Kara smiled back, unfazed. "You'd be surprised at how much of the world operates in the shadows, Mr. Stark."

Tony leaned back, intrigued. "And what about these werewolf-like powers? I'm curious—how does that work? Some sort of genetic enhancement, or are we talking about real magic here?"

Kara exchanged a quick glance with Logan before responding, "Let's just say it's a unique combination of factors, ones we don't usually share with outsiders."

Tony raised an eyebrow, clearly interested. "How about this—if you share some details about your abilities, I might consider sharing some secrets of my own."

Kara chuckled softly. "If you share the details of your Iron Man armor, then maybe we can talk about our powers," she said with a playful smile.

Tony laughed, appreciating her directness. "Fair enough. You drive a hard bargain."

Tony nodded, impressed. "It all sounds like a well-oiled machine. And you manage all of this while keeping everything under the radar. I have to say, that's not an easy feat."

Kara's expression softened slightly. "It's a delicate balance, Mr. Stark. We value our privacy, and work in the shadows when needed."

Tony couldn't help but smile. "Working in the shadows, huh? That's something I've never been too good at. But I see the value in it. And I have to admit, I'm intrigued by what you and your pack are capable of."

Kara nodded, her gaze steady. "We're good at what we do, and we've been doing it for a long time. But we're always open to new opportunities—if they align with our goals."

Tony leaned back, considering her words. "I can respect that. And speaking of opportunities, how about we discuss a partnership? Stark Industries and Logan Enterprises could accomplish a lot together."

Kara nodded thoughtfully. "That could be beneficial. We have our strengths, and you have yours. Combining them could lead to some interesting developments."

Tony grinned. "Exactly what I was thinking. Why don't we have Pepper and you arrange a more formal meeting to discuss the details?"

Kara agreed, and they exchanged contact information to set up the next steps.

Throughout the conversation, Logan mostly remained silent, offering only short responses when directly addressed.

Before his transmigration, he had been a fan of Tony Stark, admiring his genius and inventions. But now, with his heightened senses and the irritability that came with his werewolf nature, he found Tony's sarcasm increasingly grating. It was easier to let Kara handle the conversation.

But Tony, curious about the man who had saved his life twice, couldn't resist trying to engage Logan directly.

"So, Logan, Can I call you that?" Tony started, turning his attention to the quiet man across from him, "I hear you've got some serious skills. What's it like leading a pack of, well, super-powered mercenaries? Can't say I've met anyone else with that kind of resume."

Logan looked at Tony, his eyes sharp but his tone measured. "It's not about leading," he replied. "It's about taking care of my own."

Tony nodded, leaning in with interest. "I can understand that. But you've got to admit, what you and your pack do—it's not exactly standard operating procedure. How do you manage to keep it all under control?"

Logan replied. "Discipline. And a clear understanding of what we're fighting for."

Tony smirked, clearly amused by Logan's no-nonsense approach. "Sounds like you've got it all figured out. Must be nice, having a purpose like that."

Logan didn't respond immediately, his gaze steady on Tony. "It's not about figuring it out. It's about surviving."

Logan knew he need power to survive peacefully in this world and that was his goal, to become someone very powerful that others don't dare to mess with him or his family (Pack).

Tony, sensing the weight behind those words said. "I can understand that and You've got something unique, something most people can't even imagine. But how do you make it work."

Logan's eyes narrowed slightly, but before he could respond, Kara placed a calming hand on his arm. "We make it work because we have to," she interjected smoothly. "And we choose our allies carefully."

Tony nodded, sensing that he was treading on sensitive ground. "Fair enough. I'm not here to push any buttons. I just like knowing who I'm going to working with."

Logan finally gave a small nod. "As long as you remember that, we'll be fine."

Tony grinned, appreciating the straightforwardness. "Noted, Uncle Wolf."

Logan growled in response as Kara is trying to hide her laugher.

As the meeting drew to a close, Tony couldn't shake the feeling that he had just stepped into a world far more complex and dangerous than he had anticipated. And yet, he was excited about the possibilities.

He noticed one thing, James Logan Howlett is a man of focus, commitment, and sheer fucking will.

Soon, the dinner is completed peacefully and as the meeting. They all exchanged words and parted ways.
