He was affected cause Mark's soul is weakened currently and merged with Peter's soul. Later MC devours a large number of soul and people but won't be affected.

No, a codex is formed when a symbiote revives a dead host, combining their life forces. But Gwen isn't dead and Peter connected their souls in a bond. So, no codex created here.

He can remove normal bond whenever he wants but the soul bond is permanent and can't be removed.
