Tech Demon System

"Hello, what's up?"

"Leooo! so glad I was able to reach you,"

"What do you want?"

"Well you know that building on the ghost mountain? We decided we are going to check it out."

"Why would you do that? That mountain has been prohibited, there is also the rumor of a Terror hiding in the mountain."

"Come on man, don't tell me you believe that story, the government is probably carrying out an operation on that mountain and they are using that tale as cover up."

"Either way, it is stupid to go there, we will be in trouble if we are caught."

"Bro, this is the last time the class is going to be together, most of us will be leaving town for a long period, so don't be a chicken."

"I am still not coming"

"Your loss, you know that Sarah was the only one to awaken from our class, she will probably be of to Military academy, and you know that you won't be able to see her anymore."

There was an extended silence from the other side of the phone.

"SIGH, ok I will come."

"Great! I knew you would come around, we are sneaking in by 9pm so be there."

The call came to an end, Leo stared at his phone for a couple minutes, his thoughts wandered in different directions, it drifted to the time he started high school, then to when the transfer student who became his secret crush. He thought of his best friend whom he had taken a lot of blame for through their days in high school. His thoughts wandered for minutes before Leo sighed and set his phone down.

"Nothing last forever"

About twenty teens where inside a spooky looking building. The where celebrating their graduation from High School, most of them would be leaving town as of tomorrow so they decided to make the night memorable.

"Hay! Guys, come see this" A boy shouted to his mates.

When everyone was gathered, they saw a door that looked as though it was leading to a basement. As the thrill for adventure had taken over all their minds, they opened the door and one by one went in.

The place was pitch black, so the kids used their cell phones to light the way, soon there where in a large room, the place had tables and work tools that had been eroded by time, the place smelled off rotten flesh. As everyone was touching around, a scream came from the one of the girls, when all of the kids look at the direction of the scream, they saw a crack on the wall and within it a red eye with black pupils.

"Terrooooooorrrrrrrr!"

One of them shouted and snapped the others out of their standstill, they was no need for anyone to inform them, they all began dashing for the exit. Trampling on each other in their struggle to get out, luckily they all got out, and as if on cue when the last person stepped out, black half a meter thick tentacles shot out of the ground.

Like a confused mob the all ran off in different directions, Leo was amongst the runners behind him was Sarah and another girl.

"Help meee!" the girl screamed as a tentacle wrapped around her waist and dragged her towards the surfacing terror. Leo turned around and saw Sarah rushing in the direction of the girl that was taken, probably with the intention to save the girl. Sarah was ten meters away from the Terror, she activated her Meta gene and created a fire ball, as someone who had awoken, this was something she could do. Sarah threw the fire ball at the tentacle holding the girl, the fire ball managed to cause the terror to drop the girl, but almost at the same time a tentacle wrapped Sarah up and began taking her towards its mouth.

Leo saw Sarah about to get eaten, and as if it was a trigger, the memory of his mother caught in the tentacle of a terror surfaced in his mind,

"No No No, it's happening again, just like before I can't do anything," Leo looked at the scene while shivering.

Suddenly! As though possessed by a spirit, he dashed towards the tentacle holding Sarah, taking out the pen in his pocket, he held it in a reverse grip as he had seen in movies, when he was within range, and he jumped while swinging his pen in a stabbing motion, implanting deeply it into the tentacle.

The heroic act from Leo had caused the Terror to let go of Sarah, but he was captured in return. The tentacle drew him towards its moths were circular rows and rows of teeth were set, it looked like a whir pool.

Alex had the fabled life flash before your eyes moment, he saw himself when he was young playing with his mom, it was just the two of them, but they were contented with life, he saw the day that Sarah held his hand, though it was during a play in school, he had cherished that moment deeply.

The tentacle dropped Leo into its mouth that looked like the portal to hell. Alex slowly closed his eyes as he fell.

"Mom I will be joining you soon, wait for me. My regret is I never got to tell Sarah how I felt. The painful part is that I died saving her, if I could have just escaped this terror then surely she would fall for me seeing I saved her." Leo said all this to give himself a last laugh.

"Life is fleeting" his final words.

His body plummeted down, soon the terror would begin its grinding process and turn him into minced meet for digestion, but as he fell his hand brushed a purple glowing square metal that was stuck in the teeth of the Terror. Leo had already fainted from the fumes within the terror.
