After a prolonged call, the kidnapper grew frustrated and even appeared to be intoxicated. Goofy's apparent indifference to Frank's life or death left the kidnapper disheartened, realizing that the hostage had little value. In an act of despair, the kidnapper declared, "Damn, since that's the case, I'll kill this old thing now!"

Frank's panicked voice pleaded, "Don't! Spare my life! Goofy, you kid, can't you wait until I die!"

"Let it be," Goofy hastily intervened. His true aim was to eliminate the kidnapper, and they used the same tactic to abduct everyone.

"Since you've taken the hostages in good faith, I have to give you some face, right?" Goofy remarked.

The kidnapper was left dumbfounded. They had intended to threaten Goofy, yet he was offering them a semblance of respect.

What the hell is this? The kidnapper couldn't comprehend the situation. Originally, they sought to intimidate Goofy, but now he was extending courtesy?

Nonetheless, the kidnapper maintained their professional composure, uttering in a cold tone, "Very well. I'll Give you half an hour. Come to the intersection of Atlanta Street and 78th Street, No. 7. Remember, if you call the police, you'll find this old guy's body!"

Goofy coughed, "Friend, what if I am a policeman myself?"

The kidnapper fell silent, taken aback. "Don't play word games with me; you know what I mean!"

After hanging up the phone, Goofy gathered his belongings and prepared to leave. He didn't seek support, and he intentionally left his gun behind. This might be his best chance to face death since arriving in this world. If he survived this perilous situation, he would seriously question the purpose of his existence.

Sporting an eye-catching coat, Goofy whistled, shook his car keys, and descended from his apartment. He only needed to walk into the trap set by the kidnappers, and then, "unfortunately," they would end his life. Subsequently, he could return to his original world, reuniting with his parents and friends.

"Going home. I'll go home now. I've overstayed my welcome," Goofy sang cheerfully, reveling in the moment.

Under the dim moonlight in Brooklyn, the worn-out second-hand Chevrolet sped through the city streets. Ten minutes later, it reached the location specified by the kidnappers.

It was an ordinary three-story independent building with several high-performance off-road vehicles parked at the entrance. Peering through the window, Goofy observed that every window was covered with curtains, and the yard bristled with surveillance cameras. Without a doubt, this was one of the strongholds of the pier black gang in Brooklyn, and they had set a trap for Goofy tonight.

"Guys, I'm here," Goofy announced cheerfully, getting out of the car and strolling toward the building. He knocked on the door, and soon two black men emerged from the yard, concealing guns under their trench coats.

"Raise your hands, boy," one of them whispered. "You don't want to be riddled with bullets, right?"

"I actually do," Goofy thought to himself. However, rather than being killed by these two small-time criminals, he preferred falling into the hands of the black gang inside. The chances of survival were higher, and the risk was lower.

So, Goofy raised his hands, smiled, and nodded at the two black men. One of them got angry, "Reveal your identity; you're not just passing by, okay?"

Upon entering, Goofy underwent a thorough search by the black men. They were astonished that he carried no weapons.

"It's very clean, without any firearms or weapons," one of them remarked.

The other, incredulous, remarked, "Are you sure? This kid came to us alone, without even a weapon."

"Search for yourself if you don't believe me," the first man suggested.

Exchanging roles, the second man searched Goofy again and exclaimed, "WTF? This guy really didn't bring anything."

Goofy, uninterested in explaining, spread his hands and asked, "Can I go in now?"

The black man warned, "Boy, you'd better not play tricks on us!" He held a pistol to Goofy's waist. "Go in slowly; if you dare to move, I'll feed you a bullet right away."

"It sounds like a plan," Goofy smirked disdainfully and entered the room.

Passing through a thick, solid wood door adorned with barbed wire, Goofy finally entered the stronghold. Inside, a gathering of people with guns awaited him.

"What a grand affair..." Goofy sighed genuinely.

The black gang members recognized Goofy as the one who captured their accomplices on the dock, resulting in the deaths of two of their comrades. Their fierce stares and eagerness to retaliate were palpable.

Goofy looked at them with a smile, casually observing the firearms they held.

"This is an M1911; that's a double eagle... Wait, There's a Browning here?" Goofy mentally noted, finding himself excited by the array of guns. An ambush of this magnitude couldn't escape death, right?

"Very well, your equipment is impressive, and I'm satisfied," Goofy praised like a military parade.

Confused, the black gang members stared at Goofy, unable to comprehend his reaction. To them, these firearms were intended to be used against him.

Continuing his ascent to the second floor, Goofy counted no less than ten guns. Anticipating even more on the third floor, he chuckled to himself.

Sure enough, although fewer in number, the well-equipped individuals on the third floor assured Goofy that any conflict would turn him into a sieve instantly.

Looking at these menacing criminals, Goofy was moved to tears.

Whether he could return home or not depended on these heroes!

"I thank you in advance!"
