As Anakin came out of the council chambers after discussing whether he could join the Jedi order, he immediately found Aizon leaning against the wall waiting outside.
"HAHAHA, I forgot to mention that they're all pricks, hahaha." Aizen didn't hesitate to laugh at his friend's misfortune.
The exhaustion on Anakins face vanished as he fantasised about ending Aizens life. However a voice came from next to his friend before he could respond.
"Hmm...Perhaps you could refrain from teaching my new apprentice your wonderful vocabulary." Kenobi's extremely disappointed voice startled Aizen as he looked to his side.
"Cough... cough...Kenobi, I was just trying to lighten the mood and you know how the council can be," Aizen quickly tried to save face as he continued," Besides it's not important right now, wouldn't you rather show our new rookie how real Jedi fight."
Both Aizen and Kenobi smiled at the mention of the upcoming duel before Kenobi turned to Anakin," What do you say Skywalker, you want to watch your first lightsaber duel?"
"Thank you for the opportunity, Master." Anakin sincerely responded as he was led to the training room. While he didn't have his own lightsaber yet, he could easily learn from watching others fight.
10 minutes later...
Anakin watched from the side of the training room as both his master and friend stood at the centre. Kenobi removed his robes and pulled out his lightsaber from his waste as it ignited with a blue blade, his stance covered his entire body as he held his saber diagonally across his body.
Aizens sabers levitated into his hands as they ignited with a black blade that matched his robes. His stance entirely left his body open, exchanging defensive power for easier manoeuvreability.
Anakin watched as the silence stretched on.
As the referee he begun counting down," 5...4...3...2...1!"
Not even a second after he finished had Aizen rushed forward.
Kenobi remained firmly planted to the ground as he allowed his opponent to take initiative.
In the blink of an eye Aizen had already reached his foe and unleashed a series of wild slashes that formed a light show as Kenobi intercepted each blow using his reach to keep a safe distance.
Both fighters displayed remarkable skill as each used a lightsaber form that was the antithesis of the other. Kenobi's soresu focusing entirely on defense and counter attack while Silas's Vappad on offense and oppression.
Aizen realised the stalemate would last forever if he didn't take a risk and swiftly used a force enhanced strike to break Kenobi's insane defense. With his right saber he used all the power he could muster and used a side swing to knock Kenobi's saber off centre, leaving his guard open before using his left saber in a piercing motion attempted to end the fight quickly.
Unfortunately, Kenobi leaned back just as the blade was about to strike and watched the blade pass over his head while lightly burning his skin. Taking the advantage to counter he quickly regained his posture and shot up, using his feet to kick at Aizens overextended hand causing his blade to fly out of his hand and into the air.
Kenobi then moved his lightsaber to pass under Aizens remaining saber and enter the range of his opponents now open body to slash at his chest.
Aizen smirked as he quickly used his free hand to freeze Kenobis attack midswing with force stasis, locking it in place mere inches away his chest.
Using his time wisely Aizen leapt into the air and caught his blade still in free fall before landing behind Kenobi just as his hand broke free from his hold. However he was to late, the two blades positioned behind his back signaled to him that he had already lost.
"Huff...huff...truly a remarkable application of the force, you've won this time Aizen."
Kenobi praised after catching his breath, marveling at Aizens force stasis.
"I may have won but you could have easily countered my force abilities if you had known in advance what they were, and I know your master has been teaching you from 4 yet despite that you nearly bested me in form 3....sigh, gues we both could use some improvements." Aizen spoke honestly as he deactivated his sabers and looked at the starstruck Anakin, "So, did you enjoy the show?"
Anakin came out of his daze as he looked at his friend with Newfound respect,"Just you wait Aizen, when I've got my own Lightsaber we'll duel everyday."
Kenobi deactivated his own saber and looked at Anakin who was fantasizing about the legendary battles he'd have in the future and spoke,"I'm glad your enthusiastic, but I'll teach you the jedi code before you start your training."
Aizen quickly looked around to check if there was any stones around,"Hmm... learn the code you will, and great jedi you will be-"
THWACK!
Aizens beautiful Yoda impression was cut off as a stone flew out of Kenobi's robes and struck his head.
"Owwwww....c'mon, does every jedi carry around stones now." Aizen said as he pondered whether or not to have Piriaha raid the temple just to spite the Order.
"Hahaha!" Anakins laughter filled the room," Beware of stones Aizen. Stones lead to anger, Anger lead to hate and hate leads to the dark side."
THWACK!
Anakin became yet another victim of the stones.
"Thats enough boys," Kenobi said in a serious voice while secretly using the force to suppress his urge to laugh," Aizen, you have training With your master in an hour,"
Aizen quickly nodded as departed the training room to go back to his room."
"Anakin, your starting your studies with me," Kenobi quickly added,"And to start we're going to learn about how Jedi avoid bad influences." An image of Aizen quickly flickered in his mind.
To Anakin, it felt like a bucket of cold water was poured over his head. Anyone who had just witnessed an intense lightsaber duel would be eager to practice immersive,"Fine...sigh."
I humbly promise to hold back with the stones.
Anyways, That duel was pretty hard to write ...any feedback or advice would be appreciated.
;)
Also I know I didn't show you Anakins interactions with the council but he got in pretty easily as he's not an open book that displays his emotions on his sleeve like in the movies.
