Tianshi Xue was pretty sure she already died. After falling into the depths of the sea and feeling her last breath leave her body… she was sure she was going to the afterlife. But then she woke up. In another woman’s body. And that body belonged to a princess. — Tianshi Xue was a popular model turned actress. She was known for her striking looks and not-so-good ways in the business. A lot of people admired her for the lengths she was willing to go just to be successful. But a lot of people also hated her. She was not even surprised that someone killed her—or at least tried to. She woke up in the body of Princess Lin Yingyue, the daughter of the tyrant emperor from the Shānmài Empire, promised to marry the second prince of the Hépíng Empire. But because of a sudden invasion, Tianshi Xue—now Princess Yingyue was forced to marry the man she loathed from the moment she heard his name, the notorious young general, 3rd Prince Yang Qui. Tianshi Xue found herself living in the palace—a place that housed more drama than the TV. With her new body and title as a princess, Tianshi Xue was bent on trying to find the person who wanted her dead. But on the more important note: If death was necessary for souls to transfer to another body, does that mean that the princess died also? Or did someone tried to kill her too? — Photo on the cover is not mine. Credits to the owner of the beautiful work! REMINDERS: (You will be redirected here in case you seem to forget) 1. Tianshi Xue clicked on one of the long posts and could not stomach what that idiot Mengyao was talking about. 'The love of my life… I am in deep regrets I had not treated her better… I hope she's in a better place now…'
She almost really barfed right then and there.
"We dated for a month!" she screamed at the screen. "This dude needs to chill out."
There were comments on the post:
'I heard that Tianshi Xue broke up with you that night'
'Did you kill her'
'Just confess that you're guilty and let's get this over and done with'
Tianshi Xue found herself smiling at those comments. Yes, it could've been Mengyao that pushed her off the yacht. Who else would do it? There were a few witnesses that she had blown up in front of him and him calling her a witch.
But… he was not even… for sure the police interviewed him. What kind of lies did he feed them with?
Tianshi Xue exited the window and typed in a new name: Jinhai. He was the one she was dating before Mengyao. He was another businessman. They dated for over three months before she called it quits.
Surprisingly enough, there was not even a single post from Jinhai's accounts. It looked like he was dating another model. Because there were no mentions of her from him, it also marked him suspicious.
His name joined the list of suspects in her head.
She was about to make another search when the door opened, it was Howin, a slim box in her hands.
"Your Highness, this is what we could find at the moment. Please let us know if you want another design," said the handmaiden and handed her the case.
Tianshi Xue gestured in the air and the windows in front of her closed in an instant. She locked her Linker and changed the strap almost immediately.
The bangle was made out of platinum, slim and round, and it twinkled when the light caught it. Tianshi Xue was more than satisfied but she refrained from letting it show on her face. "Thank you, Howin," she said.
"You're always welcome, Your Highness," answered the handmaiden and began cleaning up the boxes. The handmaiden had then busied herself with Tianshi Xue's closet, rearranging and changing the clothes and shoes, going in and out of the bedroom with bundles of fabrics in her arms
Tianshi Xue did not want for her handmaiden to know that she was looking for news about a scandalous actress. She was still a princess in her eyes. Which reminded her and she moved to the bed and turned on the television.
She scrolled through the channels. Of course, her then existing commercials were nowhere to be found no matter how long she waited for them. She settled on watching a drama. She had known the actors personally and an idea struck her yet again.
She should check who cried the hardest on her funeral. That would be one of the suspects.
This is stupid, she thought in her mind. It was strange to think that her funeral had been taped. Like it was something that was going to be used in a drama. There were reporters, cameras, and a gazillion people looking as her casket was loaded in the car.
Tianshi Xue clicked angrily at the remote control and television blinked black. Wanted to vent out her emotions, she chose her target.
She unlocked her Linker and found the prince's contact.
She quickly typed in a message: You gave me a military strap?!?! You're cheap.
