Reincarnation From Villainess to Princess: Journey to Being Empress

Tianshi Xue was pretty sure she already died. After falling into the depths of the sea and feeling her last breath leave her body… she was sure she was going to the afterlife. But then she woke up. In another woman’s body. And that body belonged to a princess. — Tianshi Xue was a popular model turned actress. She was known for her striking looks and not-so-good ways in the business. A lot of people admired her for the lengths she was willing to go just to be successful. But a lot of people also hated her. She was not even surprised that someone killed her—or at least tried to. She woke up in the body of Princess Lin Yingyue, the daughter of the tyrant emperor from the Shānmài Empire, promised to marry the second prince of the Hépíng Empire. But because of a sudden invasion, Tianshi Xue—now Princess Yingyue was forced to marry the man she loathed from the moment she heard his name, the notorious young general, 3rd Prince Yang Qui. Tianshi Xue found herself living in the palace—a place that housed more drama than the TV. With her new body and title as a princess, Tianshi Xue was bent on trying to find the person who wanted her dead. But on the more important note: If death was necessary for souls to transfer to another body, does that mean that the princess died also? Or did someone tried to kill her too? — Photo on the cover is not mine. Credits to the owner of the beautiful work! REMINDERS: (You will be redirected here in case you seem to forget) 1. 'I heard she's a horrible person in real life. Maybe she did deserve to die….'

'This is so sad. I didn't think that one of my favorite villain actresses would leave this world so early….'

'Please seek out help if you're troubled….'

'Let us learn how to preserve our mental health…..'

'We should put the blame on her agency, I'm sure she had been overworked and got depressed because of it…..'

'I bet it was one of her many lovers that had gotten to her hahaha serves her right because she was a slut….'

It took a lot of self control on Tianshi Xue's part to be able to get through the comments section of the articles. Most of the comments had the same message and meaning and she skipped through them.

Her haters suddenly jumped outwards and preyed on her death. They must be enjoying their lives right now. She had always wondered if it was fun to be an internet troll.

She had wanted to reply to most of them but realized that she didn't want to succumb down to their level. Besides, there were too many of them that her hands would tire with replying.

Tianshi Xue felt touched with her fans. They had created a trend on social media and paid tributes to her. Most were still ongoing.

But then, she suddenly realized where was all of these 'take care of your mental health' messages came from so she looked at the most recent news from her name.

'Actress Tianshi Xue's case closed. Ruled off as suicide'

It was like a punch in the gut for her. Suicide? But… she would never do that to herself.

She checked the date and found out that it had only been ten days since she was in the princess' body. More like two years, her mind whispered.

The article was written from the palace itself. Since it was the one that was handling the police matters, it made sure that all the cases and its details would always be accessible to the people. Transparency at its finest.

There were other links inside the article from the previous reports regarding her death. In her rush to try and read everything, her eyes darted everywhere on the hologram infront of her.

'Upon further investigation… found in her room… suicide note… depression… the lack of privacy… all the negativity…'

Tianshi Xue could not even finish reading the article before she turned to the side and screamed on a pillow, leaving a distinct lipstick smudge on the beige cover.

She tried to control her breathing. What was happening? Why? She didn't kill herself!!! And what suicide note? According to the article they found it in her apartment, dated the night of the party.

She was killed for crying out loud! And whoever it was that killed her, left that note in her apartment.

Which only meant that it was someone who had access to her apartment.

A chilling sensation passed through her.

Mingmei? Her assistant?

WAS IT HER?!?!??!!

She was the only one who could come and go freely in her apartment.

BUT WHY?! Why would her assistant kill her?!

She created a fake social media account, feeling like her fingers were not typing fast enough. She tried to find her assistant's account but it was nowhere to be found. According to the search engine, the assistant had deactivated her account as soon as the news that Tianshi Xue was dead surfaced.

Hot air came out of her nose. This was not acceptable. She could not wrap her head around this fact. But why?! Mingmei was also on the yacht with her in the waiting room, always at her beck and call…

Why would her precious little assistant would kill her?!

Fuming, Tianshi Xue read more articles. What was it that one person said? Maybe it was one of her past lovers? That night, she had broken up with the young magnate Mengyao, a boyfriend that she got to be able to get more publicity.

She quickly typed in Mengyao's name and found that his social media accounts were all in black.

"Oh this little shit," she whispered.
