~Squelch~ Kayle shield-bashed a Frost Giant so hard his face caved in... Kayle is starting to work like a machine and is slowly becoming more like a soldier. With each kill, she grows stronger. Her level is advancing quickly and has left Hela in the dust when it comes to strength.
At the beginning of the war, Kayle would instinctively hold back which she has learned the hard way is a big no-no in a war. If it weren't for her healing spells she would have died in three ways these past few months.
First, she had he neck cut open second she was nearly cut in half with all her organs spilling out third she lost an arm and shoulder. Her healing spells healed her up and even regenerated a new arm. Each lesson had a profound impact on her mind and so she just lets loose without holding back anymore.
"You should put that sword down and run home little princess... Hehehehe" A frost giant Officer gives a sinister chuckle.
'Did he seriously give me the Thor treatment?' Kayle narrows her eyes at the sheer arrogance of this low-ranked Officer. It's been months and Kayle has grown not in just levels but in combat experience and can now go toe to toe with any Officer.
'I have my pride! And I will not stand for this!' Kayle is no longer squeamish when killing and no longer feels weak afterward but she still has nightmares. Slowly but surely she is getting used to all of this.
"Drown in holy fire!" Kayle lights the bastard up and he becomes ash scattered in the wind. That wasn't a wise choice. Kayle pulled aggro and is now besieged by dozens of Frost Giants.
'38 minutes... I got this! I'm gaining more combat experience I'm growing stronger! These people cannot hold me!' Kayle uses her ability Starfire Spellblade and it cuts through the Frost Giants cleanly Leaving only body parts that were cauterized by the intense holy fires leaving not a drop of blood.
"Injustice is a festering rot, and I am its cauterizing blade!" Kayle roars and unleashes a new technique that makes ripple-like portals all around the battlefield that shoot blades made of fire at her enemies or motes of golden light that speed toward her allies and heal their wounds.

'I'm concerned... She is becoming more Extreme I only hope that she knows that Justice is never blind...' Odin shows a concerned look as he fights against Laufey for the nth time.
"Your younger daughter has some spunk To me, she looks like Veangeance incarnate not justice..." Laufey mocks Odin making Odin punch the Frost Giant King square in the mouth.
Of course, Laufey knows that Kayle isn't evil. Far from it... He sees that she is a very benevolent person who has a strong sense of justice. He even saw her secretly enter his camp and heal the wounded just enough that they wouldn't die. They won't see combat ever again though... He is very grateful to the little girl. Laufey wouldn't rat out Kayle to his long-time enemy Odin.
'She's probably the only Asgardian I find pleasing to the eye and don't hate. I understand that she has no choice but to kill on the battlefield. However, that doesn't make me hate her strangely enough... I figured I would have called her out on the hypocrisy of healing her enemies and then killing more the next day But In the end, she's just a child Doing what she can to keep a clear conscious...' Laufey has a tiny smirk, and resumes his fight with Odin.

"Hela..." Kayle's eyes are starting to harden. Kayle still has nightmares but it isn't bad to the point where she vomits falls on the bed and shakes in her sleep. The death and bloodshed she sees in her dreams are nothing more than a grizzly reminder now.
"Kayle..." Hela hugged her little sister as they both fell asleep.
///
Kayle wakes up with a fright but now she doesn't yell or incinerate anything indiscriminately anymore. She looks to her left and sees Hela peacefully sleeping and Kayle couldn't help but crack a small smile.
Kayle armors up and she goes out to the human village that they are based in... She walks slowly to a forge and sees the human blacksmith working hard as if his life depended on it. Kayle has seen many humans fight valiantly against the frost giants and her opinion of them starts to get a little better.
Kayle arrives at the tent of her father and she steps in.
"Kayle, How was your observation of the humans?" Odin smiles.
"The souls of man show their potential for greatness They can stand for good like any righteous Paladins in my service Or they can exact evil worthy of the lowest demons of Hel... But I can't help but feel the power of such a choice should not rest in the hearts of beings who are here for an instant and then flare and die. I feel that humans are corrupt... and are not worthy of the choice between good and evil.
Whatever their struggles whatever their triumphs they die. I have come to the conclusion that Mortals are blind to their own misery This world was not made to last These endless mortal cycles... Cruelty begets suffering Suffering begets cruelty...
However, The just humans cry to the heavens and I cannot help but answer. I have seen humans purge the dark within themselves and rise in glory. There are many humans who have taken up the role of a Paladin and have joined my personal army... I have seen the goodness and righteousness that humans are capable of And despite my feelings, I cannot help but marvel at their existence. The Paladin humans I have sired... I cannot wait for them to be reborn as the einherjar and join our halls..." Kayle throughout her speech had a tone of awe.
In this AU of Marvel Asgard is a divine realm where the souls of humans can be reborn as einherjar and join their halls of bountiful feasts and mead... Kayle has had the pleasure of meeting many of these souls of humans that grace the halls of Valhalla which is the very core of Asgard... If she thought the einherjar were impressive... then what she sees in humanity in the present time completely trumps the existence of einherjar.
"Now you see just how special humans are! That is why I value them so much. Humanities potential is nearly limitless They are a one-of-a-kind species. I adore them..." Odin has a fatherly smile as he sees the humans going about their day and advancing despite all they have lost to the Frost giants.
"Yes... They never stop advancing It is..." Kayle had no words that could describe just how much more special humanity is compared to the Asgardians. In Kayle's past life, she was blind to just how extraordinary humanity was... In this life, she sees just how unique humanity is from an outsider's point of view.
"One day my child you will see that they are beyond your understanding..." Odin smiles and pats Kayle's head.
'They already are... How was I so blind back on Earth in my past life? I had no idea just how much potential humanity has! Seeing what they can achieve here and now and in the future I am in awe... I now see things through Divine eyes... And I am speechless at how special Humanity is. Being reborn as a literal Goddess has widened my perspective. And the humans... I cannot comprehend how and why they just keep going...' Kayle's jaw would have dropped if she wasn't so stoic lately.
