Chapter 6

As Jack, Norrev and the other 11 running to the 3rd floor to save the civilian being chased by the 5 creature, Adha kept looking at her phone with a befuddled look since she don't see any news about the attack on the Sun Bridge Mall so she tried texting her parents.

"Mom are you there?" she texted with hope in her eyes.

"..." Waiting with no reply makes her heart jump while thinking the worst has come.

"Adhalia my baby are you okay? " At last her mother replied.

"Yes mom, me and brother Nor are okay but we are stuck in the mall and can't get out" Adha replied.

"Ah that should be fine, mom saw on the news that a terrorist attacked the mall but around 15 minutes later they broadcasted that the terrorist has been dealt with and they are sending a team to go in there to rescue you."

'Terrorist? are the police playing down the attack to not make people worry?' Adha think.

"Mom stay away from evolved people and stay safe okayy" Adha texted but when she saw the text it can't be send.

'So it is real that the police is playing it down and just jam the connection' Adha thought with worries about Nor.

"Kid go and take out the little girl first" Jack said as he gesture to the rest of his team to split up and take on them.

"You guys head to the 4th floor and wait for us" he said to the civilians who was chased by the creature.

"Well then let's see how strong you guys are" Jack ready his fist and throw out a punch to one of the creature being held by a chair.

DWAK!!

The creature stagger back a bit but continue to try and bite Jack fist but one of the man using a mop manage to hit the head back.

"Enhance endurance?" Jack questioned himself.

"Hold that girl" Nor shout but the man upfront is having a hard time holding the girl back with how small she is with the speed and strength of an adult.

'Do you really think it's that easy you fucking kid' the man thought.

With the man not focusing on the fight the girl suddenly do a weird twist with her body while jumping, this lead her to fall straight to the man while she bit his shoulder.

"ARGH!!" The man scream while letting go of the chair he was holding.

Using his right fist he start to punch the girl on the head but suddenly a knife pierce her head in an instant.

"You fucker why didn't you stab her sooner" the man said while standing up and charging Nor but suddenly stop because a knife is now being pointed at his face.

"From what i remembered once you get bitten you will turn to one of them" Nor gaze with a cold eyes.

"Stop fighting already" said the third person who is wielding a mop while looking below which he saw a small horde around 30 making their way up to the 3rd floor "We should help the others and evacuate to a new area, the creatures are coming fast" He said while back at Nor but from what he see Nor is standing beside the guy who was bitten while stabbing the knife into his head.

'This kid is crazy' thought the man while shouting "Why did u stab him, he is one of us!!"

"Can't you see the horde below, do you think they attack this mall with that many in numbers? From what i see once bitten you are as good as dead" Nor said while pulling the knife from the guy's head.

Suddenly a hand came to pat Nor shoulder, when he turn back he could see Jack with his men, this small fight could be said to be a hard victory with 3 of us bitten and killed.

"We got a bigger problem" Jack said gazing below.
