Chapter 14 Robin

Somewhere in a deserted land called Alabasta.

Steven Strange walked on the ground of Rainbase City.

Cheers resounded from the many gambling stores around Steven.

The atmosphere was filled with an overall joyous atmosphere, some walked out of the casinos with hearty laughter and their pockets filled while some walked out of the casinos with a face that looked like it had been Crushed of any hope.

Steven threw on a brown robe that covered his whole body and face and began walking to a pub close by.

His hands moved slightly as a few magic circles appeared in front of his ears.

He entered the pub and ordered a drink and quietly sat in a corner.

His Enhanced ear managed to hear the slightest whispers of people within the pub.

Steven heard a lot of unnecessary things, But after sitting there for about an hour someone finally mentioned Miss All Sunday's name causing Steven to focus on what this group of two men were saying.

"Have you heard? Miss All Sunday has summoned everybody within Rainbase for a meeting," one man whispered.

"Yeah, I heard that the mysterious boss of Baroque Works will also be there" the other man said in a silent whisper trying his best to make sure no one around them heard anything.

Steven who had enhanced his hearing sense clearly heard every word these men spoke but he didn't get up and leave immediately.

He waited for about five more minutes until those two men had switched to a completely different topic then only did Steven get up and leave the tavern.

Steven headed towards the grand casino that served as the facade for Baroque Works' headquarters, the location of Baroque Works was acquired by some mystical methods of Steven.

Steven cast a magic spells onto himself as soon as he had gotten a little closer to the huge and lively casino.

There were guards stationed all around and there was an ID check that everybody had to pass through and there was a strict, no robe rule.

Steven however walked past all of them still wearing the robe.

It was almost like they didn't even see him even though he walked right past their faces.

Stepping inside it was extravagant, with sounds of people everywhere gambling to their heart's content.

Steven kept walking until he found a rather secluded corner and a magic circle appeared on both of his eyes.

This enabled him to see the entire structure of this casino.

His eyes quickly scanned the whole structure, especially the Underground and quickly noticed two people underground.

When Steven added another layer to his magic circle that was on both his eyes he was finally able to see the faces of the two people underground.

A woman with dark black/bluish hair, and tanned skin who Steven quickly realized was Nico Robin and the other person beside her was the shichibukai Crocodile

He looked like he was telling Robin something but Steven obviously could hear what was being talked.

Steven noticed Robin nodding before she left the room with Crocodile in it and after following her movements for a while Steven noticed that Robin left from a secret door.

The two layered magic circles on his eyes quickly broke at this time as he formed a portal and stepped through it and arrived outside.

His eyes looked around for a few seconds before he quickly found her walking through an empty alley.

Standing at the entrance of the alley a magic circle appeared and the entire surrounding around Steven and Robin shifted, The surroundings began to turn into this glass prism-like structure.

[Mirror Dimension]

"Nico Robin, I believe," Steven said as he put down the robe and revealed his face.

Robin who had turned around at this time without wasting a second crossed her arms together and a pair of arms grew out on the shoulders of Steven.

"Strange Devil fruit," Steven said as the red robe hidden under his cloak moved and restricted the movements of the two arms that tried to reach for Stevens's neck.

"Who are you? How do you know who I am?" Robin asked through gritted teeth.

She was after all so close to achieving her goals in Alabasta yet her identity that she had tried so hard to hide was so easily exposed by Steven.

"I'm Steven Strange, better known as Doctor Strange, And I have come to deliver a proposal from my king, we mean you no harm" 

'Your Majesty, you asked me to convince her to join us but I don't know nearly enough about her' Steven thought to himself feeling a little annoyed.

'Wait'

'Was I supposed to first gather more information about her!' Steven thought as he glanced at Nico.

'Well it's too late for that'

"I've never heard of you" Robin replied as she uncrossed her arms.

The pair of arms that had appeared on Stevens's shoulders vanished.

"What proposal?" Robin said as she put down her arms.

"His Majesty wishes to employ you into the service of our kingdom, to educate the young people in it as an Educator to the youth"

"In exchange, he offers you protection against the World government," Steven said.

"I'm sorry but I don't trust what you are saying," Robin said as she moved her arms to use her DF but just then the Levitation cloak moved and almost in an instant wrapped her arms preventing her from crossing it"

"If I wished to capture you and hand you over to the government, I would not have any need to make up stories would I" Steven Said as he approached close to her.

She tried getting out of the grasp of the Levitation cloak but her efforts were fruitless.

With a flick of his hands, the abundant arcane power was injected into the sling ring forming a portal which he walked through and the Levitation Claok lifted Robin off the ground and carried her into the portal straight in front of the doors of the throne room.
