Arranging a Meeting at Mariejois

Some days passed

Galan got a report from Giovanni, saying that he watched the Strawhats get blasted into the sky, however they seemed to have gone up on purpose, not to mention the boy with the Strawhat was laughing.

Giovanni added, "A cute boy, he was laughing the entire entire. His crew was a bit scared, however the pretty girl who just joined seemed to be very calm. That swordsman is pretty good too, although his friend is a bit of a womanizer… The reindeer and long nosed boy were terrified."

He laughed and went on happily, "That orange haired girl is amazing, if she wasn't a pirate I would've brought her to you, boss. Just at the top of my Observation range, she managed to ride the surging air currents of this geyser and their ship flew up into the sky. It was quite the sight to behold!"

Olvia was in awe, "Sky Island?!" Giovanni chuckled "The very same, Miss!" Galan was expressionless as he said "I understand. Hang around Jaya for the time being, if any abnormal events occur, report to me." Giovanni nodded on the other end, "Not a problem, boss!"

Galan hung up and Olvia's eyes were sparkling "A real Sky Island! I've never been there! Oh wow!" Galan said slowly, "Many people don't even believe it exists. I'm surprised the kid went there." Olvia smiled happily "Must've been the Log Pose… Can we go?"

Galan frowned and thought about it, Sky Islands were an untapped source of manpower. He had never heard of a Marine Base on a sky island before… There must be evil in the sky as well, right?

Just as he said "Alright, let's go." the snail rang, "Galan, you are to arrange a meeting with the Warlords and replace Crocodile. The balance of power in the sea needs to be brought under control!" Galan said enthusiastically "Yes, sir! Of course, sir! Right this instant! Are there any more instructions?"

The 5 Elders shook their heads and smiled "No. Good work, Galan." Galan chuckled in embarrassment "Thank you, sir. I will accomplish the mission." they were satisfied and hung up.

Key point was that Galan did exactly what they told him to do every time. He really did send out Aokiji, he must've attached a lot of importance to the task since Kuzan was speeding along the ocean on his bicycle like a madman.

Galan returned to normal and Olvia looked heartbroken, "But… Sky Island…" Galan frowned "Next time." she perked up again and looked at him sweetly, he probably only gave in for her, right?

She was keenly aware that he only conceded slightly to her, for everyone else it was the same as usual. Galan's word was iron law. He never compromised at all.

Even Hachi from Arlong's crew was still being watched by a Buzzard. When Galan found out about the situation from Jinbe, depending on what the truth was, he would slaughter Hachi and revoke Jinbe's Warlord status.

No matter what waves were made by doing such an act.

This was a personal thing, mostly because Galan had let these Fish-Men leave last time when he should've killed them. He made a mistake and it led to the death and enslavement of hundreds of people.

Every action Galan took determined the fate of the innocents and he vowed to never slip up again. Criminals would be killed no matter what! That was his creed. Whether they were killed before they could commit evil again or not was entirely something Galan had to analyze for himself.

While he wanted to kill them, perhaps there was a way to use them in a win-win scenario. However, this was something that Galan disliked doing because he felt that you couldn't trust other people. Especially not criminals, these heathens will do anything…

Galan picked up the snail and said "Put me through to the Warlord line." a voice sounded, "Yes, Fleet Admiral." there were a few buzzes and beeps before the line connected, 6 people's breathing were heard and Galan said coldly "You are to report to Mariejois immediately for a meeting. All of you. Should you choose not to attend… You can imagine what the aftermath would be."

There was a 'Fufufufu' laugh and a voice "So scary, Fleet Admiral-kun."

Another one, respectable and curt, "Yes, Fleet Admiral Boss."

A slight hum as sharp as a sword's edge

A lovable snort "This Empress will entertain you."

A shrill cackling laughter "Kishishishi~ I wonder if your shadow is strong…"

Finally, a calm and gentle voice "As you wish, Fleet Admiral, sir."

Olvia pursed her lips and Galan continued expressionlessly "Immediately. That is all." before hanging up, snorting in disgust. Olvia rubbed his back and giggled "So scary." he ignored her and said softly, "Let's go." she nodded and they left the office.

Galan left Sengoku in charge and went to his home. They decided to leave tomorrow and Galan got into bed, thinking about the meeting. Who was he going to replace Crocodile with? He frowned, thinking about it.

He stared at the wooden ceiling, rolling a golden coin in between his fingers as he frowned slightly.

Olvia finished brushing her hair at the vanity, sitting there in her panties and nothing else. She smiled at Galan in the mirror before turning around and climbing into bed, crawling to him. He turned to look at her as she came to him on her knees, her perky chest standing upright in perfection as she said "How about Monkey-chan?"

While saying this, her bare skin touched Galan's as she snuggled up to him, crushing her breasts on his chest, shivering in warmth with a happy smile, tangling her long legs with his and laying her head on his shoulder.

Her small delicate hands held him as she kissed his cheek, closing her eyes to rest. Galan wrapped an arm around her slender waist and pulled her close to him, making her feel safe, as he replied "He could be a good candidate… The problem is I don't know if he'll agree… I'll send him a letter. I would rather someone who was a good person get the title."

He paused and muttered "Maybe Drake is acceptable as well…" Olvia snorted tenderly, breathing hot breath on his neck as she replied gently "A Marine traitor? It would make the Marines very happy…" Galan snorted "Just thinking out loud… It's impossible to make Drake a Warlord. Not only would it ruin my prestige in the Marine's heart, but it would shatter the image I made for the public… However, I think this is a good last resort option."

Olvia looked up at him as he explained "This would show that I don't actually care for the Marines, only power and balance. The 5 Elders would be very happy with this decision as someone who's obsessed with power and status is more easily manipulated…" he frowned to himself, there were other candidates, but he felt that Luffy was the most suitable.

He put the coin on the nightstand and closed his eyes, saying "Bring the chessboard tomorrow. There's no rush to get to Mariejois." Olvia snuggled in his arm, replying warmly "Of course, love."

There was a snort in the darkness, "Annoying…"
