In the year 1498, the world witnessed an event that would forever alter the course of maritime history.
The Roger Pirates, one of the most feared and respected crews of the seas, disbanded. Their captain, Gol D. Roger, in a surprising twist of fate, voluntarily surrendered to the Navy.
Before being imprisoned, Roger made a startling decision: he entrusted the care of his pregnant wife and future son, Ace, to Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp, his... friend.
Roger's execution in Loguetown, his hometown in East Blue, marked the beginning of a new era.
His final words echoed in the hearts of adventurers and dreamers alike: "My wealth and treasures? If you want them, I'll let you have them. Find it! I left it all in that place!"
These words ignited the spark that would usher in the Great Pirate Era.
While the world was in turmoil over this news, deep in the ocean, a creature named Morgan was reaching a new milestone in its evolution.
With 5,000 health points, Morgan transformed into a Sea King over 20 meters long, developing formidable fangs that made it an even more fearsome predator.
…
Two years later, in 1500, the pirate crew of Giamon arrived at the mysterious island of Rare Animals.
Fate played a cruel trick on Giamon, who ended up trapped in a treasure chest, gradually becoming the island's involuntary guardian.
Meanwhile, in another part of the world, a young girl named Robin took her first steps on the path that would lead her to become an archaeologist.
That same year, Morgan, who had established his own maritime domain, faced an unexpected threat. The Buster Call, a military operation by the Navy, swept through his territory, forcing him to abandon the waters he had claimed as his own.
…
Three years later, in 1503, Monkey D. Luffy was born, the child of destiny, awaited by many across the world.
Coincidentally, that same year, Morgan reached a new level in his evolution. He strengthened his entire body and developed a special ability: Invisible Predator! With this new power, Morgan decided to return to his birthplace, the treacherous Calm Belt.
____
In the waters near the Calm Belt, a deadly battle was unfolding.
The silence of the waters was shattered by a deafening roar, followed by the violent thrashing of water. A metallic smell of blood filled the area, staining the sea a dark, viscous red.
At the center of this carnage lay the massive body of a Sea Cow over eighty meters long. On top of it, a creature resembling a forty-meter-long eastern dragon clung to its prey with unimaginable ferocity.
The predator's black scales gleamed under the dim light filtering through the waters.
The dragon's claws, sharp as blades, sank into the Sea Cow's flesh, tearing off huge chunks with each movement.
Its jaws, filled with dagger-like teeth, ripped mercilessly, devouring flesh and bone alike. Blood gushed out in torrents, forming crimson clouds in the surrounding water.
The Sea Cow, now nothing more than a helpless victim, struggled less and less until, finally, its efforts ceased entirely. But the dragon's feast continued unabated.
The predator, in its feeding frenzy, didn't stop until the last fiber of meat was consumed.
…
I, Morgan, once a mere insignificant snake, am now something akin to a forty-meter-long eastern dragon. I've just devoured an eighty-meter-long Sea Cow, but the satisfaction is fleeting.
"I'm almost at a bottleneck again," I think as I digest my prey. "No matter how much I eat, I can't grow any larger, but I can grow stronger... Seems like I need to hunt stronger prey."
Reflecting on my evolution over these six years, I've gone from being a small snake less than a meter long to a creature capable of easily hunting and killing hundred-meter Sea Kings.
Time has flown by, almost without me noticing.
I remember my first hunt, so different from now. The Alpha system has been the key to my impressive development.
This uncontrolled evolution excites me and drives me to seek a more intense, more challenging life.
I know that once I reach a hundred meters, I'll be able to choose another form of evolution, but I need a hundred thousand health points.
Currently, I only have fifty thousand. The challenge excites me, makes me feel more alive than I ever was when I was human.
As I enjoy the remnants of my hunt, I sense the presence of other Sea Kings drawn by the smell of blood.
I open my eyes and let out a roar that makes the seabed tremble.
"ROAR!"
The sound reverberates like an underwater explosion.
I see weaker fish being swept away by the current I've generated, some even dying from the force of the impact.
It fills me with pride to know that not even the Navy's regular warships would dare face me now.
Even if the Buster Call fleet were to appear again, I am confident in my ability to completely destroy it. The memory of how they ravaged my former territory fuels my desire for revenge, and perhaps I might decorate a few Devil Fruit users in the process.
However, one truth resonates in my mind: "Easy prey feeds you; difficult prey makes you great."
I know I will only become stronger by facing more powerful creatures. It's an endless cycle of evolution and conquest.
As the blood dissipates in the water, I decide to leave the scene.
With a sweep of my powerful tail, I dive into the depths.
…
As I glide away, I feel the blood that stained the water dissipate around me.
My new body, now fifty meters long.
I pause for a moment and observe my reflection in a crystal-clear current.
My form has evolved drastically. I'm no longer a simple sea serpent; I'm now an imposing eastern dragon.
My serpentine body is covered in scales that gleam like impenetrable black armor. I flex my new forelimbs, admiring the five retractable claws.
I move my head, now resembling that of a legendary dragon, and notice the whiskers hanging from my chin, giving me an air of wisdom.
My eyes, small but sharp, scan the surroundings with a penetrating gaze.
They are completely black with a hint of violet, contrasting with the absolute blackness of the rest of my body.
I unfold the enormous fins running down my back and tail. They are as sharp as blades and as hard as metal, perfectly adapted for hunting in this marine environment.
Though I chose not to evolve my hind legs to save evolution points, I feel completely at one with the ocean.
I stretch, feeling every muscle in my body relax. The energy from the Sea Cow I just devoured flows through my veins, making me even stronger.
As I swim, I think about my future evolutions. My immediate goal is to become a Neptune Dragon, but beyond that, I dream of transforming into something akin to Deathwing. And after that... well, the future is full of exciting possibilities.
With every movement of my powerful body, I feel confidence growing within me. The multiple evolutions I've undergone have prepared me to face the ocean's greatest challenges.
My goal is now clear: to become the undisputed lord of the Calm Belt.
I adjust my course, heading towards those waters infested with Sea Kings.
