This FanFic is a special one. I started reading it in between others, as I had nothing else to catch up to anymore and I have to say, I am extremely disappointed and positively surprised at the same time. I have been waiting for this to get more chapters for a long time now, but now after finally reading it (to current Chap 126), I can say that it is quite unique.
First things first. The Grammar in this is quite good, albeit starting off problematic. The author improved immensely throughout the story, and especially after the first half. I know this is a dealbreaker for many readers so rest assured.
The Story is where things get interesting. I started this FF in hopes of finding something different than the majority of Naruto ficitions which all kind of feel the same. I like medieval settings and I love the aspect of Kingdom building. Seeing a nation thrive, especially in the face of hardships and conflict, is just appealing and interesting to me. The world of Naruto is vast and very diverse one, so I hoped for a good adaptation of these premises, but as i stated before, this is where it gets controversial. The author decided to take a more comedic and "peaceful" approach to these things, which stands in direct conflict with what I expected and hoped for, yet it is done in such an interesting and semi-realistic way, that i found myself immersed in this daring approach nevertheless. I binge read this in 3 days and will continue keeping up with this fros sure. You cant really explain this so I have to just advise others to start reading and to judge for yourselves.
But despite a comedic approach, there is indeed a stringent story, and a clear line that perseveres throughout the chapters and arcs. You can see the Village MC is leading, rise to relative power and how other small and bigger players react to it. The world is vivid and in motion, and the many characters we know and love, as well as a multitude of original and new characters, with defined personalities and traits, just add to the whole complete picture. Would i have prefered a more serious approach? Possibly! Am i enjoying this as it is? Definetly! This is a fresh breath of air and in some ways just so bizzare and unexpectedly ridiculous, that it is good again. The circle closes and what remains for the reader is a hilarious but intriguing story unlike any other, I have read before. Take this with a pinch of salt, and just enjoy the messy and chaotic madness, which the leader of the village hidden in the grass creates in the ninja world.
