StarDust, I wish I knew

After a few hours of chatting, we both went to bed. But I was unable to go to sleep after everything said by Mr.D. She kept things well hidden inside her, I realized how much they care for each other. Even though they are miles apart, they think of each other's happiness. Am I feeling jealous of Mr.D, who is disabled, but accomplished many things in the name of Little Moon.

I checked if StarDust is online as usual. There she is, I thought of chatting with her for a while.

"Hi... Starry.."

"Oh!! hi... what's up? What are you doing so late..." she asked.

"I came to UK for a new drama discussion...Lead role."

"Wow!! someone is getting famous.." she sends a pile of celebration emojis.

"Don't flood my screen with emojis you silly... "

She didn't reply to me for a few minutes. I know by gut feeling something is worrying her. I feel like betraying her by hiding about Mr.D and other things from her. But I have to keep myself composed as it's not the time to reveal the truth that I know.

"So what are you doing so late?"

"Meow... just trying to build up a new character for 3d". I need to get her to talk about the script, that I will act as the main lead.

"Didn't you write a new script, any news about it?"

"Oh .. that one... they are going to produce that." She said casually. Why is she acting wired, she doesn't seem happy about it.

"Someone doesn't seem happy about it.. May I know why?"

She took some time to reply.

"When I turn back, I wish he is here waiting for me with a smile."

I was stunned by those few words she wrote. One sentence told me how much she wished Mr.D was there. Will I be able to accomplish Mr.D's wish? I need to divert her sad mood to some other topic. The script...

"So what about your new script? Are they selecting actors?"

"I heard they are... but I want the male lead to be George." I laughed at her. Wish she knew that was me.

"Why him, I just see him as a normal actor nothing special."

"That's what you think. But he acts really well. And, I have a special reason to make him the main lead."

"OH!!!! do you, by any chance..... like him.." I tease her.

"Shut up, NO. no, not anything like that"

"Then?"

"His eyes look similar to Boog's." She calls Mr.D Boog when she chats with me.

I started to compare. Is it true, that our eyes look similar? Color-wise we both have brown eyes but his eye are a bit darker than mine. Maybe what she refers is the expressions we make with eyes that look similar. This made me realize one thing, that, she had studied my acting and facial expressions really well, as well as Mr.D's to find similarities.

"Do you miss him?"

"Hmm.... loads.. He's the only human being I had in my presence for a long time."

"Don't you wish to go and see him?" I inquire, then only I remember Mr.D doesn't want to see her while he is in the wheelchair. But I wanted to know her response, if she's eager to meet him, I will create an opportunity for her.

"If he wants to see me he'll let me know... I understand him and I respect his decision." She went silent.

"Are you there, are you ok?" i asked as I was feeling sorry for invading her personal thoughts.

"Yes, I am ok.. hmm... I need to go to bed as I cannot get this character sketch proper."

"Ok then, catch you later... Don't let the bed bugs bite... " I sent her a few bug emojis.

"Good night then... Sleep tight".. she went offline.

Lee has sent a request to meet in the morning for a little chat. I know he is curious to know what I have found so far. I know he is going to be surprised by what I am going to tell him. I met Mr.D at the breakfast table the next day.

"Good Morning, George."

"Good Morning, Mr.D."

"Do you have any plans for today George, if not you can come and get familiar with our office workflow as this might help with the drama?"

"I will have to meet with Lee, so may I join you after lunch?"

"Yes sure, why not bring Lee too. So we can have lunch together."

"Ok then we will meet you for lunch."

"Kevin, you can accompany Mr.George as I will work from home today. " Instructed Mr.D.

I met Lee at the reception of the hotel he is staying.

"So how was the stay at Mr.D?" he asked while ordering coffee and some snacks.

"Not bad. He invited us to have lunch with him today."

"In a fancy hotel?!" I laughed out loud, saying

"At his home. He is a brilliant chef, have to say it".

After talking for a while Lee asked,"So did you found out."

"Do you remember StarDust?"

"Your happy pill, so what is with her?" he asked with a confused look.

"She is the scriptwriter of this drama, and the..."

"What?!" he screamed. Even the nearby guests were looking at us.

"And she is the soulmate of the producer slash CEO of the SD studio."

"Are you kidding me, I am not dreaming right?"

"No Lee, you are fully awake." I laughed while looking at his surprised confused look.

"Hmm... Lee, this drama is totally a remake of themselves," I said looking at him.

"You mean, Mr.D and StarDust"

"She's Little Moon aka StarDust.She has recommended me to be the lead actor."

"So, she knows you are George the actor from your chat handle?" he asked.

"No, she doesn't. It's going to be kept a secret till the premiere of the drama. A special request from Mr.D."

"Ok, I understand. But I don't get it why did she wanted you to be the lead? I am still confused."

"It's because of a similarity."

"You mean?"

"Eyes, Mr.D's and my eyes look similar in Little Moon's eyes. And she thinks I can portrait the character well."

We talked about the script and about the scheduling for the next few months. Then I remember something Mr.D told me.

"Lee, I might have to visit and stay with Little Moon for a few months."

"Why?" asked Lee.

"To get to know her better, since the story evolves around them Mr.D said, I need to get a better understanding of her."

"Why is she an alien?!"

"No, you dumb.. She's a peculiar character it seems."

"Oh I see." Lee understood but I know he didn't fully grasp what I meant.

Kevin came around at that same time to take us for lunch at Mr.D's place.
