Everything shouldn't be a publicity stunt

Yesterday evening, the surprise gift arrived. But She was not interested in opening it till today. I have seen Ted eagerly strolling around it trying to see if he can open it before her. But he was afraid she might scold him because she regards Mr.D's gifts as treasures from thousand feet under the seas.

At last, she came out of the small movie theater room at her home. I went to the room and saw "Beauty and the Beast" playing on the screen while the small coffee table is scattered with notes and sample character designs she had created previously. Seems like she has been making the costume details to be sent to the costume department.

"Good Morning, do you like some tea?" I asked teasing her hair.

"Me want a yummy tea." said the kid and went down to freshen up.

"Sis, did you notice some big box on there?" Ted interrupted.

"Yeah..." she went downstairs.

Ted made breakfast today with red rice, spicy sambol, and fried dried fish. Which was so tasty. Even while eating Little Moon was planning out some design elements.

"SIS!!!!" Screamed Ted.

"What?" she asked.

"Did you forget a big box"

"Oh you mean that thing over there?" she teased Ted. "After finishing this up I will open it, you silly nit wit."

I on the other hand was enjoying their little fight, while I showed Ted that I had posted the video online. He looked at me to inquire if Mr.D has ok it. I nodded and said yes and motioned him to stay quiet about this.

"At last...Open it will you." Ted urging her to open the box.

She opened the box at last. The box was filled with many things related to work, snacks, and crafts. One by one she took them out. Ted was mostly interested in the snacks and chocolate that came along with it.

While Little Moon was checking out the three Copic marker sets I peeped inside the box to see a big box underneath. I tap on her shoulder and pointed to the box which was wrapped with a beautiful wrapper. It seems so heavy, so I helped her to get it out.

"WOW!!!" she screamed after unwrapping it. Ted also jumped into look what it was.

A Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 was there. She was so surprised. Ted helped to unbox the new equipment and set it up in the office. I laughed at her because she looked tiny against the new tablet.

"Ted, you do have a friend who is doing graphics, right?"

"Yes, sis," said Ted wondering why.

"Does he have a graphic tablet?"

"No, he doesn't. But he has been saving up to get one."

"If your friend is ok with it, I can give this to him. I only had used this for about a year." And she packed the old Wacom neatly and kept it aside.

I watched her from the side and thought how considerate she is of others. Even though she can resell this for some amount of money, she thought to hand it out for free. I rarely have seen girls with such qualities around me. She really is a rare flower hidden behind other flowers.

I told Mr.D about what happened and what she was about to do. His only response was,

"She's my never-changing girl. She is always like this. Money has no value in her life."

I didn't see Little Moon till lunchtime that day. She has been busy with her new gadget. Mr.D has ordered us lunch today as a treat. Without her noticing me I watched her draw. Every move of hers seems to be so soft and flowing, reflecting on her inner-self. I suddenly looked ahead and saw a small camera is placed, just to record her doing work. These videos are used in various game or drama promotions by the studio.

"Hi, don't you want to have lunch?" I hugged her from behind. "Your brother send us lunch today."

"Is it yellow rice?" She looked at me.

"With cream caramel." her favorite dessert. I buried my chin in her hair bun. She smells like a red rose. I suddenly remembered the set of ear studs that I have bought, those earrings will suit her very well. After a few minutes, we both went to have lunch.

While I was relaxing in the lounge, I went through my Instagram and gave a call to Lee.

"Hi, Lee"

"George, I never knew you can dance pretty well."

"Well I am not the best, but she is really a pretty good dancer."

"A multi-talented gem is it"

"Yes, Lee. HOw is the media handling the sudden upload?" I asked Lee to know how things are going about in the entertainment circle.

"Everyone is pretty surprised, the entertainment circle is going wild with it."

"Oh! really...don't they always. Did Mr.D call you?"

"Yes, now we have to be careful not to expose her identity. But the thing is everyone speculates that she must be someone special."

"How is Zu taking the news?" I asked as she was one of my co-actresses who had been trying to make headlines with me as a couple.

"She was pretty angry and condemned the news as just false." laughed Lee. "She even called me to learn about who she is."

"Well, we will have to guard her identity till the award night by the end of the year. And Lee there is something I want you to know" I have revealed the relationship with Little Moon to him.

"You need to guard this news really well ok."

"Yes, what is it, George?"

"I am pursuing her, in hope of getting married to her."

"Really!? I am so happy to hear this George. Did you tell your mother about her?"

"Hmm... my mother knows already. I told her about her and Mr.D before I came here."

"Oh then it's better. I know she must be happy."

"Your caption - Life is a Bliss when you waltz with a Perfect partner - is trending really fast, and I think this might be the best to promote the drama."

"Hmm... I think you should talk with Mr.D, I think this will set a good vibe to the upcoming drama."

"Goerge, I have some brands we collaborate asking, to use this video to promote their products. They are willing to pay a higher collaboration fee too."

"No, don't let them. I want this to be kept as pure as it is. If not the value of this precious moment will be lost. Everything shouldn't be a publicity stunt, but sharing a happy moment to give a smile on another's face."

After the call, I went to check on Little Moon. She was having her nap in her room. Her mobile was on her bed, so I picked it up and kept it on the side table. I saw she had been re-watching the post I have added on Instagram of us dancing. I don't know what she was thinking or what she felt about this, I was a bit worried too. I smoothed out a few of her hair strands from her forehead.

Then I went back to browse my Instagram. I suddenly saw her reply to the post,

"A happy feeling filled with love."

This bought a smile to my face.
