Dinner at Gilbert's

WIth Gilbert being pestering me I agreed, but this ruined my plans of spending some quiet time with Little Moon. I was trying to figure out what stunt he was trying to put off.

"WOW!!! you look beautiful, mademoiselle," cried Gilbert hugging her.

"Thank you, but can you release me....or someone will be happy to punch you" she threatens.

"Your place looks so comfy," I said like how he has styled his home, apparently which is near a lake.

"Make yourself home. What do you drink?" asked Gilbert, settling us near the outdoor garden facing the sunset.

"Anything without alcohol," I said, and he looked at me. I pointed to her and acknowledged she doesn't drink.

"Gilbert, do you need some help?" asked her already to call the pantry her own.

Then only I saw how beautiful she is today in the pale lemon yellow floor-length dress. With her hair put loose and held on a side with a pin. I felt something was missing and looked around. I took a rose from Gilbert's garden and place it on her hair.

"Touche, come on you two love birds," Then only I heard a camera flash and Gilbert setting the drinks on the table. He showed me the pic of us, which was really beautiful. Chatting with him for hours and Little Moon playing with his dog, Pluto, while listening to us felt at home till there was a sound of the doorbell.

"Hi buddy, do you want to play fetch," I asked holding up Pluto and LIttle Moon had her head on my shoulder, tickling the pet. I forgot that we were at Gilbert's and I don't know how much time went by as I was staring at her face. Her face looked glowing while he petted Pluto. Maybe I should give her a lab puppy for her birthday this time.

"What a romantic scene," said someone behind us, making us turn around.

"Little Moon, this is your surprise," said Gilbert pushing Tony in front of us.

"HI," he said looking at us. I guess he was equally surprised to see us.

"So these two are the surprise you told me about?" he asked looking at Gilbert.

"OH, Dude... meet George the famous actor plus budding director, and Little Moon, his wife and the scriptwriter of the movie," putting a hand around our shoulders.

"WOW no wonder your work is appreciated by Keith," he said looking at Little Moon, who was looking at him, well almost staring at him.

"Missy, he's right in front of you...I am not joking," said Gilbert. "Do that character's voice, she loves it," he screamed at Tony.

"Nice to meet you, Tony. Don't mind her, she takes a bit of time to warm up to someone. But she really loves your dubbing voice," I said shaking hands with him while getting her close to me.

Tony who was tall bend down and looked at her giving out a "Hi,". for which she just nodded her head in reply.

"Gilbert, I put the roasted chicken on the table. Just check it whether you need to heat it up," said Tony settling down with us to have a chat.

"This guy has been talking non-stop about your script and I think this role is what he needs to break out from a romantic freak in movies,"

"When Keith suggested a few actors, she was so adamant to say this role has to be played by him," I tell him while playing with her hair.

"Before agreeing, he let me go through the script. I was pretty impressed. The plot twist was so cool,"

"I also didn't know she was writing such a script. Because most of her scripts are for contemporary kind of movies and animated ones."

"Little Moon, I am pretty curious to know why you wanted to do a mystery movie?" asked Tony.

"That's because she loves me more, Tony," said Gilbert coming around and hugging her.

After we had our laugh, she explained,

"Well, I really wanted to do a mystery script. And brother D agreed to give me a chance. And I wanted a breakthrough," she said looking everywhere else rather than Tony.

"Brother D?" asked Tony.

"A nice guy, her brother, and the decision-maker in Star Dust," said Gilbert.

"Why didn't you inv..." as Tony was replying the doorbell rang.

"Let me," said Gilbert and came in with Brother D and Kevin.

"Brother," screamed Little Moon running to hug him.

"Brother D, meet my brother Tony," said Gilbert introducing him.

"Nice to meet you at last," said Brother D with a nod. "And this is Kevin, my right-hand man, and PA,"

"Guys lets have dinner in the garden. Missy can you help me, please," said Gilbert going out with LIttler Moon and Kevin.
