Chapter 2

After arriving at the fleet, Senator Amidala was escorted to the admiral and my mission was complete. So now I am heading to another transport that will take me and my brother's to the location of where General Skywalker is at.

I didn't waste any time and headed directly for the other transport, which would take us to where General Skywalker was at.

My Brothers and I boarded the ship and quickly left to the planet Christophsis where the Republic Navy had just recently broken the Separatists blockade of the Planet and now an invasion of the planet was under way.

After a couple of hours, we had arrived at the planet of Christophsis and could see the debris from the destroyed Separatists and Republic fleet. Immediately we were contacted by the republic fleet asking for our clearance code and identity.

After confirming our identity, we proceeded to the Republic Venator and landed in the Hanger. Once exiting the transport, some of my men were already waiting on me.

"Welcome back commander, General Skywalker and General Kenobi are already preparing to head to the planet and General Skywalker wants you to come see him, so he can debrief you on the plan" Said a Clone whose name was Blip

"Thanks Blip, I'll be back after talking to General Skywalker, so get the men ready to leave within the hour"

"Yes Sir, they will be ready" Said Blip as he left to get the men prepared

After talking to Blip, I was taken to where General Skywalker and General Kenobi were to be debriefed on the mission.

After arriving, I saw General Skywalker and General Kenobi along with Commander Rex still looking over a Hologram of the planet. But as soon as they heard me walk in they turned their heads

"Commander Blade, welcome back" Said General Skywalker

"Yes Sir, it's good to be back in action" Said Blade

"Well since you hear, let's hear what you think about the plan" Said General Kenobi

I walked over to the Hologram as General Skywalker begin to explain the plan.

"First we will land in the Capital city Chaleydonia and in one of the business centers we will ambush the separatists forces attempting to come through the city. We have already sent supplies down to the refugee camp here" Said General Skywalker pointing to a location of the planet's surface

"Once we land, we will immediately start setting up a small base in the city to stop the Separatists advance. And once we establish the base we will receive artillery that we will set up close to the front line to destroy the droids once they cross this bridge" Said General Skywalker

"Blade, I want your men at the front line making sure no droids get too close because if they get past the front line they will be able to destroy the Artillery and once it is gone we won't have anything else to use against the droids"

"Yes General I me and my men will defend the front line and make sure no clankers get by" Said Blade

"Good I think that is it so let's not make them wait any longer so Rex and Blade prepare your men" Said General Anakin

Rex and I said Yes, General, and left to go prepare our men. But on the way Rex had talked about some things with me since we had a much deeper bond than any other clone had with each other.

In the Hanger, the 51st Division of Clone troopers which were under the command of Blade were already preparing to leave. All the soldiers were lined up and ready to leave on the transports while being debriefed on the plan by their sergeants.

Once I walked into the Hanger, all the clones saluted me as they had smiles on their faces, most likely eager for battle.

"What are the odds today Commander" Asked one of the soldiers

"Most likely 3 to 1 or maybe 5 to 1 but what ever the odds we will win no matter what" Said Blade

The Clones starting cheering since Blade was a well known commander in the Republic Army known to rarely lose battles and always preserve the lives of his men, which earned him a name from some people from the senate 'Irregular' since he was different from other clones.

While the men were cheering, Commander Rex had walked in, "I see the 51st are as enthusiastic as ever Blade" Said Rex

"Well, it has been awhile since we were in a major battle, so I'm sure they're eager to destroy some droids" Said Blade

"Well we are going to need that in the battle since the droids numbers are only an estimate at this moment, and they could have more forces hiding" Said Rex

"If they do we will adjust to it when the time comes Rex" As Blade was talking an announcement was heard telling all Clone troopers to report to their transports and prepare to launch.

"Looks like it is time, so I'll see you on the battlefield, hopefully this time you won't need to save me" Said Rex

"Hopefully" Blade and Rex had saluted each other before leaving to their respective transports.

Within 30 minutes, the transports had launched and started heading to the landing zone, which was the capital city. Now begins the battle for Christophsis.
