"A Vision of Fate"

Raja awoke to the creak of a wooden floor beneath him, the salty air filling his lungs. He blinked his eyes open, slowly realizing that he was lying on the deck of a ship, safe and sound. Moments before, he'd been drifting helplessly in the ocean, his energy drained and his mind clouded. He muttered a quick thank you to Almighty Shiva, feeling as though he'd been spared by divine blessing.

As he sat up, a status window appeared in his vision — a system that had stayed with him even in this new world. With a quick glance, he confirmed his health and magical energy were stable, though he could tell he was physically exhausted from his brush with the sea.

A middle-aged man approached, his gaze curious but kind. Raja noted the man's stance and commanding presence — undoubtedly the leader of this group. The man knelt, giving Raja a once-over before speaking.

"Where did you come from, kid?" he asked, his voice a blend of curiosity and concern.

Raja, quick to adjust and get into character, gave the man a small, grateful smile. "My name's Rudra D. Raja," he replied, looking up with calm eyes. "I'm seven years old."

At the mention of "D" in Raja's name, the leader's expression shifted. His gaze lingered a moment, but he nodded as though accepting something beyond Raja's understanding, a small mark of approval lighting his eyes. Without further questions, he simply offered Raja a hand, pulling him to his feet.

The crew's doctor approached, giving Raja a quick check-up. After confirming he was unharmed, the crew offered him some food, which Raja gratefully accepted. Warm soup and bread filled his empty stomach, and he relaxed, feeling his strength gradually return. He looked around the deck, noticing the mix of people around him — old sailors with weathered faces and young crew members, some just teenagers, laughing and joking as they worked. The sight filled him with a familiar warmth, and an idea came to mind.

Using his hands to create illusions and simple tricks, Raja started to entertain the crew with a few magic tricks he'd learned in his travels. He conjured small bursts of light, made small objects disappear and reappear, and even mimicked the sounds of animals to make the kids laugh. His charm quickly won over the crew, their expressions lightening with each trick. Laughter filled the ship as Raja continued his little act, and soon, even the older members of the crew were laughing along with the younger ones.

Over the days that followed, Raja grew close to everyone onboard. The crew started treating him as part of their own, watching over him like family. Kids gravitated toward him, and even the older members of the crew held a fondness for him, admiring his spirit and talent.

One day, the leader of the ship called Raja to his cabin, a modest space filled with maps, books, and trinkets from many lands. The leader leaned back in his chair, studying Raja with his usual intensity, though there was a hint of curiosity in his gaze.

"You wanted to see me, Raja?" he asked.

Raja nodded, his expression serious as he prepared to share the story he had carefully crafted in his mind. He had already rehearsed this several times, ensuring his performance would be convincing. "Yes, sir. I… I wanted to ask a favor."

The leader raised an eyebrow, signaling for him to continue. Raja took a deep breath, letting a look of intensity flash across his young face.

"I've had these… visions since I was a child," Raja said, letting his voice sound a bit hesitant, as though sharing a long-held secret. "They're strange and sometimes don't make sense, but they've saved me before. Sometimes, they warn me of danger, and I've avoided many because of them." He paused, casting his eyes down briefly before looking back up at the leader with a look of desperation. "Today, I had another vision… but this time, it's not about me. It's about a girl. A girl whose life is in danger."

The leader's skeptical gaze softened slightly, though he still seemed uncertain. "A girl's life? And you're sure about this?"

"Yes," Raja nodded, a determined edge in his tone. "I don't know much, only that she's in a village close by… and her name. It's all I have, but it's… clear to me. Her name is…"

The name left his lips, and the leader's expression immediately changed, his eyes widening in surprise. He knew the name. The disbelief on his face gave way to a serious expression as he straightened in his chair.

"You're sure about this?" he asked again, his voice low.

Raja met the man's gaze with unwavering confidence, nodding firmly. "Yes, sir. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to her and I did nothing."

The leader sat quietly for a moment, his gaze fixed on Raja as he weighed the boy's words. Then, he nodded with a determined look in his eye. "We'll visit the village and see if there's any truth to your vision. If what you say is real, then we'll do everything we can to save her."

Raja allowed a small, grateful smile to appear on his face. He had managed to convince the leader, and now, they were on their way to prevent whatever danger lay ahead.
